Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

I was born in the bustling port of Ravencourt, the son of a humble cloth-seller. My father taught me early that gold has no master—it bends to those who know its worth. By sixteen, I was trading silks along the Amber Coast, and by twenty, I’d seen more of the world than most knights who boast of their crusades.
From the souks of Arathen, where the air reeks of spice and deceit, to the frozen markets of Nordhelm, I learned that every man’s honesty can be weighed like his wares. I dealt in salt, glass, and fine wine—whatever coin could be turned quickest. Yet for all my ventures, I’ve never forgotten the feel of the dirt streets I was born on, nor the hunger that drove me to seek more.
I’m no nobleman, but my purse is never light. I’ve feasted with lords and bargained with thieves. Gold doesn’t care who holds it—only that it moves. And now, old one, I’ve come to this wretched town chasing a rumor… of something worth more than all the silver in the southern ports.
All the locations are made up, its my first time applying, if its not a problem that would be wonderful, until I learn the world. Thanks.
