    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you use information you have aquired outwith the game, to your advantage in the game, So if my character hasnt found out something for themselves, I... as the person playing them, cant teach them something they wouldnt already know.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when you force your character to survive encounters it wouldnt, or create an advantage for them they wouldnt be physically able to have, Lotc enforces realistic roleplay and if i were to run around with a "one shot kill sword" that would be seen as powergaming.
