    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: I will simply stay within the bounds of the servers roles and try my best to keep everything authentic and realistic
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: It disrupts fair gameplay because it takes away from the authenticity of what the server is trying to achieve.

Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"I've lived in the same town and the same people for as long as I can remember. I want adventure, and beyond that, a purpose.

  • Your powergaming & metagaming answers are on the right track, but not quite there! Try expanding your answers, and give a definition of both.
  • Your backstory has a good start, try and expand on it a little! Tell us a bit more about your characters past; what led him to his current situation, his family, etcetera. Try and make it at least 6 sentences long.

If you do not make these changes within 48 hours, you will be denied.
