In 1746, the Taff family within the forest realm of Irrinor gave birth to a little boy who they named Keryth. He grew up under a strict religious life based around The Wild Faith which he had never agreed with. On Keryth’s 10th birthday he was given a lute. Everyday the boy would practice learning and writing songs. By the time he turned 13, he realized his attraction to guys as well as girls. He kept this secret to himself in fear of what others may think. When he turned 16 he told his parents about his thoughts on religion and his dream of traveling and playing music for people everywhere. His parents were devastated. As Keryth turned 18, he packed up his lute, clothes, and trusty sword to set foot on his own adventure. From that day he lived on his own traveling from city to city. He played as a bard in order to make what little money he could, but sometimes he would have to steal from local markets in order to not starve. He had hopes that one day he would find a group of people who he felt as he belonged with and be able to call them family.
