Our character, Merlin Grimstone, was born in April of 1475 according to the Gregorian Calendar. His father, Harold Grimstone, had a farm and spent his day and night working as a farmer. His mother was a simple housewife. In his early years, Harold, who was very fond of magic, taught his son the simplified basics of Arcane Magic and Dark Magic, which he excelled in his teen years. After the sudden death of Harold, Merlin took up the responsibility of the household and maintained his father's farm, and grew several crops. In his free time though, Merlin practices magic and spells taught by his father, in memory of his father. As he faced many challenges over hundreds of years, he decided it was time to put his magic skills to perfect use. He hired a teacher, who taught him more. After many years, he began to rise to the equal level as his teacher, and later, he began teaching magic to other elves. One day, when humans invaded the farm he had, Merlin used his magic skills to drive them out, therefore impressing his teacher and his ageing mother. Soon, he began to do this same thing for other people and still continues to do so today.

Sadly because this is a guest application, and thus can't be edited, you're denied for the following reasons:

  • Your powergaming definition isn't quite what we're looking for on this server, feel free to read our Wiki entry on the subject to get a better idea of what that means here.
  • Lord of The Craft does not follow the Gregorian Calendar, rather we have our own date and time system that you can read about here if you want.
  • Your character cannot already know any form of magic. After being accepted, and adjusting to the server, you can look for a teacher in roleplay.
  • Your skin isn't quite what we look for, typically we want ones that better match the lore of the server. For ideas, or even a skin to use, feel free to check out our Skin Archive

This isn't the end however! Feel free to re-apply, with the mentioned changes, in 3 hours from this post.
