Let it be recorded for history, etched into the records of truth, and carried across the lands of Aevos by bird and breath alike, what has come to pass between the Nation of Celia’nor and the people of Helious was not born from ambition, nor from petty rivalry, nor from the hunger for power. It was born from betrayal. It was born from broken oaths. It was born from the failure of leadership.

Now, it must be answered.

It is the acknowledgement of Celia’nor and its own citizens that the rebellion of Helious is justified to all degree. The halls of their own council echo with resignation. Their own mouths admit fault. The very foundation upon which the Mah’nel family once served, loyal, unwavering, and steadfast, has crumbled not by the hand of Helious, but by the negligence and dishonor of Celia’nor itself.

Let no realm be misled. This is no rebellion born from restlessness. This is a declaration made only after every avenue of diplomacy was exhausted, every opportunity for reconciliation denied, and every appeal to justice ignored.

The Mah’nel family served the Nation of Stars with full heart and faithful hand. We rebuilt what was broken. We forged the alliances that Celia’nor threatend with its own instability. We offered stability in moments of chaos, voice in moments of silence, and strength in moments of weakness. And in return, we were undermined, slandered, and cast aside.

It was not Helious who broke the bond. It was Celia’nor.

It was not the Mah’nels who spoke treason. It was Celia’nor who whispered of coups behind closed doors. It was Celia’nor who plotted, who insulted, who refused justice to its own. The betrayal did not begin with our separation, it began long before, in the cold halls where pride sat heavier than honor.

Time and again, the Mah’nel family stood before the Council of Celia’nor to speak truth. Time and again, they were ignored, silenced, or mocked. And even when members of the Celian court themselves came forward when one of their own exposed the depth of the corruption within the leadership did nothing. They remained idle, as cowards do when faced with their own reflection.

The rebellion of Helious is not an act of war. It is an act of necessity. It is the inevitable response to a government that has abandoned its own people and violated its own sacred oaths.

Therefore, by the authority of the Mah’nel Matriarch, the Sunlit Council of Helious, and the remainder of the Celia’nor along with the last Ibarellan, we declare the following:

The land the properties stand on is known as SOL’HELIOUS while the city is defined as AEN’ASUL.

1. HOUSES

1. Houses may only be bought by citizens of Sol’Helious. They may apply to be a citizen and then own a house in it.
2. Celia’norian citizens and Nobles may not own a HOUSE (in specific) in Sol’Helious if they already have a house type property in other parts of the Starlit land (Vassals or Capital)
3. Houses are defined as places for people to live in, one may not have a farm below. Houses found with farms within their homes will be up charged by twenty mina.
4. Houses in the TOP district begin at 15 mina, Houses in the LOWER District begin at 10 Mina. Houses in the OUTSKIRTS begin at 15 Mina, Barns will start at 40 (+5 for housing space connected to it.). They will be classified within the Ledger of  Helious.

2. BARNS

1. Barns are classified as so, they are meant for animal raising and harvesting.  People found living within a barn will be upcharge as an outskirt home, refer to Section 1.d for further information on classification.
2. Barns may only have one extension below for further room of operating. (Must match the same build scheme as the rest)
3. One is not restricted on owning a barn and building a small house next to it, so long as it has space to do so. Refer to section 1.d for further pricing and definition 

3. EXTENSIONS

1. Extensions are an additional part of ones property.
2. Houses may be limited to ONE extension 
3. Houses on the TOP District can extend their house by one 
4. Houses on the LOWER District may extend theirs by two.
5. Extensions my not go left or right, only down.
6. Barns may gain an extension for living space. Please refer to section II for further details.
7. Further additions must garner permission from the head steward or Laurir in charge of Aen’asul.

4. EXCEPTIONS

1. Exceptions may be may by the Laurir in charge of Aen’asul on a individual basis 
2. Exceptions may include a decrease in the total tax price or a complete exemption.

Order 12: Upon the highest threat of war, danger or invasion. All citizens within the city incapable of fighting must evacuate the city, to other designated parts of the world. This means all citizens for a temporary time being must leave the city, while the Sol’tarrio and the Solaric Council alleviate the issue/threat. Those within the age of 1-15 seasons, may not engage within the issue/threat- and must evacuate the city, Elderly who are incapacitated, Pregnant mothers, and any incapacitated or disabled individuals must leave for allied lands or other lands which their families also share. The Royal family besides the eldest men and Matriarch and Patriarch, are evacuated to [REDACTED], all resources shall be also sent to location 3, all ships of the Solaric fleet are hereby repurposed for combat and evacuation processes. Trade routes for allies shall be closed till the issue is handled. The Sol’tarrio, are hereby moved to DRAFTING phase, all eligible women and men and others,  of the city over the age of 16 must adhere to this order, and will be recruited into the military.[END]

ON THE ARISTOCRATIC TALONII

For some time now the people of Helious, and in many, have been elevated at heights never seen before in our society, without purpose, or  the reason  for why they were rewarded such rankings. While some have made efforts to gain the title, and some simply were idly invited, promised grandeurs; that at our current state are unachievable. It has come to the attention of the Crown Heir that the Noble lord system in place is humanized, thus she deems nobility and rankings a form of higher society, something that must be gained in later times, and so a reformation of Simple Talonnii system families will be made.

It is by this document, which is published in the halls of our great city's town hall and home of the prince, that tells the pre-requirements and requirements that is needed to be considered a Talonnii or Sol'Talonnii of Sol'Helious. It is something to note, that it is the decision of her/his Highness to recognize the families, even if the requirements are met- it is asked of all who wish to rise to the stage to take in accountance of her or his highe

 

TALONII (SEED, FAMILY, CLAN)

For a family to ear the recognition of Talonnii they must enact in the oath to the ruling Prince/Princess. They must take an oath of loyalty and fealty, only then will his or her Highness recognize the group as a Talonnii. Talonnii are capable to join council hearings and may be capable to vote in them as well. This allows their voices to be heard amongst the many citizens who are also heard, their voice shall take priority.

 

Pre requirements

• Must have five active members

• Must contribute as chest worth of resources or 100 mina to the city

• Must host an event at least once.
• Must have taking the Oath of Fealty and Loyalty to the crown

SOL'TALONII (ROYALTY OR HIGH PRESTIGE)

In times of Old, the Solarii, were never ones for big titles, and this of course was ignored after Sol'tarmatha, during the age of Sol'Helious. However, with a crown more determined to reconnect with the identity which we once had- we return to the age of Sol'talonnii. Sol'Talonnii have a higher standard and set of expectations, one which must be upheld to support the city.

On the issue of Taxes

The issue of taxes within the city of Helious has come to the attention of the governing body, it is with this issue that as of last elven years all taxes will soon be covered and exempt for that year alone. However following forward, all taxes will be taken on the day of snows maiden and will go through a system in which is described below

The Sun marks

The Sun mark has always been one made from pure aurum. It counts as the currency of Helious, and makes it so that many within the city of Sol’Helious may pay their daily gatherings, or their house tax. Ultimately this supports the system of our bank, in which they organize taxes and allow our own kind to pay other infrastructures, such as the military and Clinic.
 

• Housing in Helious will only go for 10 minas starting out.

• Expansions will be  +10 mina

• Extensions will be x2 the original amount for a house (If a house is 10 mina- it will be 20 with an extension if it's available)

• Stalls will be 10 mina

• Stores will be 20 mina (if a house is converted to a store, meaning product of any kind is being sold, it will change to this price)

• Large houses, manors will be for 30 mina
• Late fees shall be +5 mina every year (ooc week)

MSL.1.2.4 - Manslaughter: The act of unintentionally or accidentally ending another person’s life.

MSL.1.2.5 - Kidnapping: The act of taking another person without their permission and keeping them with you.

MSL.1.2.6 - Defamation: The act of spreading falsehoods about a person for personal gain or for retribution.

MSL.1.2.7 - Impersonation: The act of pretending to be another person for personal gain or for retribution.

MSL.1.2.8 - Torture: The act of cruel punishment upon another for retribution or to get information out of another.

MSL.1.2.9 - Fraud: The act of selling false goods, or deceiving another in the interests of personal financial gain.

Article III: Crimes Against Property

MSL.1.3.1 - Theft: The act of taking another's property without permission or just cause to do such.

MSL.1.3.2 - Destruction of property: The act of causing irreparable damage to another’s property, rendering it unusable.

MSL.1.3.3 - Breaking and entering: The act of breaking your way into another’s property and entering said property.

MSL.1.3.4 - Trespassing: The act of staying on another’s private property despite being banned from such or being asked to leave prior to such.the lands.  

MSL.1.3.5 - Destruction of Nature: The willing destruction of nature with no purpose or goal is forbidden within the lands.

MSL.1.3.6 - Vandalism: The act of altering someone else's property in any way for retribution or personal amusement.

Article IV: Crimes Against Morality

MSL.1.4.1 - Forgery: The act of creating false documents without permission of the Prince(ss) Royarch, Crown Prince(ss) or Aoen’Jirech’it.

MSL.1.4.2 - Debt: The act of amassing a deficit of money owed to a person, organisation or the crown that remains unpaid for two years or longer.

MSL1..4.3 - Contraband: The act of selling or being in possession of items considered not permitted by the Crown.

MSL.1.4.4 - Extortion: The act of obtaining items, money or property under acts of threat or force.

MSL.1.4.5 - Duelling: The act of engaging in a mutually agreed fight with another that was not approved by the Prince(ss) Royarch, Crown Prince(ss) or Aoen-Jirech’it.

MSL.1.4.6 - Consanguinity: The act of having any form of romantic or intimate relationship with a family member, up to the distance of Second cousin. This includes parents, siblings, grandparents, great grandparents, first cousins and second cousins.

MSL.1.4.7 - Vigilantism: The act of taking the course of justice into one’s own hands and trying to act as law enforcement or a judge.

Article V: Crimes Against Justice

MSL.1.5.1 - Obstruction: The act of attempting to block or slow down the course of justice in or out of a court case.

MSL.1.5.2 - Absconding: The act of avoiding or not attending one’s own court case when they are the defendant of such.

MSL.1.5.3 - Bribery: The act of giving money, items or property to an official in order to purvey the course of justice or gain things from the government.

MSL.1.5.4 - Perjury: The act of lying or misrepresenting the truth in a court setting during a trial.

Article VI: Crimes Against the Crown

MSL.1.6.1 - Treason: The act of betraying the Principality of Helious, whether through murder of the Princely Family, rebellion, revolution or other such acts considered unlawful betrayal of the Principality.

MSL.1.6.2 - Harmed Majesty: The act of attacking the Prince(ss) Royarch, their consort or the Crown Prince(ss)

MSL.1.6.3 - Sedition: The act of intentionally stirring up negative views and sentiment towards the Crown of Helious and trying to incite violence against the state.

MSL.1.6.4 - Embezzlement: The act of misusing funds by an official of the state for their own financial gain.

MSL.1.6.5 - Unauthorised military organisations: The act of forming or acting as part of a military organisation within the lands of Helious that is not recognised by the Crown.

Article VII: Inceptive Crimes

MSL.1.7.1 - Conspiring: The act of planning and preparing to commit a crime, treated in court as the crime itself.

MSL.1.7.2 - Association: The act of being associated with a crime, in that one worked with those convicted, treated in court as the crime itself.

MSL.1.7.3 - Incitement: The act of encouraging another person to commit a crime, treated in court as the crime itself.

MSL.1.7.4 - Attempt: The act of trying to commit a crime but failing to do so, treated in court as the crime itself.

Article VIII: Magic & the Supernatural
 

MSL.1.8.1 - Paladin, Druid, and Templars: Magics and Arts of a holy nature are to be allowed without restrictions within the land of Helious.

MSL.1.8.2 - Voidal Magics: The Teaching, Study and Use of Voidal Magics within Helious is permitted as long as they do not violate the following:

MSL.1.8.2.1 - Experimentation that could harm or warp nature is forbidden.

MSL1..8.2.2 - Experimentation that could cause damage to civilians and the property of Helious is forbidden 

MSL.1.8.2.3 - Experimentation that uses voidal corruptions is forbidden. 

MSL.1.8.2.4 - Using voidal magic to harm things such as Epiphytes is forbidden.

MSL.1.8.2.5 - The creation of a voidal tear is forbidden. The creation or attempted creation of one will be considered treason.

MSL.1.8.3 - Necromancy, and other Dark Arts: Magics of the Undead or Dark nation are forbidden within the lands of Helious. If caught possessing these magics the individual shall be detained for questioning then dealt with properly. 

MSL.1.8.4 - Shamanism, Housemagery and other neutral magics: Magics that do not fall into the other three categories shall be allowed so long as they are not used to cause unnecessary harm.

Article IX: Darkspawn & Illegal Entities 

MSL.1.9.1 - The Undead: Those who are risen from their graves, shall not be allowed within the lands of the sun, should one enter the land of Helious, and, are to be disposed of. 

MSL.1.9.1.1 The only expectation of this law is harmless spirits wishing to fulfill their duties so they may pass on to the next life, or wishing to impart their knowledge onto the living, or wishing for aid. 

MSL.1.9.2 - Vampires: Those who suck the blood of the descendants in order to live, shall not be allowed within the lands of the sun, should one enter the land of Helious, and, are to be disposed of. 

MSL.1.9.2.1 - The only expectation of this law is the ones who wish to be cured and actively seek aid in order to do so. 

MSL.1.9.3 - Frost Witches: Heartless creatures that feast on the hearts of the descendants, shall not be allowed within the lands of the sun, should one enter the land of Helious, and, are to be disposed of.

MSL.1.9.4 - Demons: These evil beings and their kin, shall not be allowed within the lands of the sun, should one enter the land of Helious, and, are to be disposed of.

CIVIL LAW

Article I: Citizenship 

MSL.2.1.1- All descendant kind is allowed to live within Helious so long as they abide by the law of the land and the criminal law.

MSL.2.1.2- Those considered foreign to Helious may take up citizenship within the lands of Helious, but the addition of a Lufline within the book of families is up to the discretion of the Prince Royarch. 

MSL.2.1.3- Nobles who swore Loyalty to the crown may not take up nobility in another land without severing ties to Helious prior. This will otherwise be seen as treason.

Article II: Domestic Relations (marriage) 

MSL.2.2.1 - People may only get married when they reach the age of majority, the age of 18. Any marriage prior is illegal.

MSL.2.2.2- Marriages of any kind must be consented to by both parties, without consent of the individuals, the ceremony is illegal.

MSL.2.2.3 Those married to one another may declare themselves divorced. To do this they must simply inform a government official of this being the case. This is done simply to avoid any mishaps that may occur otherwise.

Article III: Religion 

MSL.2.3.1- Citizens are free to pray to whatever Deific or spiritual or Aspectral being they wish. However, only the Spiritual Following of Oriasm can be publicly praised.

MSL.2.3.2-  The following are not permitted to participate in while within Helious: Xionist worship, Iblees worship, Anvil Cult and Daemonic worship.

Article IV: Labor & Trade/Contracts

MSL.2.4.1- To form a contract of service or trade all involved parties must complete the following criteria to ensure it legally binding: A clear verbal agreement must be made, an expression of consent must be made before a signature placed down and the first transaction must be made from either customer or supplier.

Article V: Identity

MSL.2.5.1- Living descendant kind, including Half-breeds, are considered persons.

MSL.2.5.2- Non-descendants who are not considered darkspawn are considered persons. 

MSL.2.5.3- Any individual who falls under Article IX: Darkspawn and Illegal Entities, is not considered a person.

MSL.2.5.4- An individual who is born within Helious or is granted citizenship by the law is considered a citizen.

MSL.2.5.5- Foreigners are entitled to the same rights as normal citizens. Unless a provision is stated otherwise. 

MSL.2.5.6- A citizen may be revoked by the crown of their citizenship, with lawful provisions and evidence resulting to such.

MSL.2.5.7- A mature citizen is considered at the age of 18, any crimes that are done by a lower age must be reconsidered and reviewed by the Judiciary and lessen by default.

★ Preface ★

After several decades of an old, more archaic court system, it has been decided that it needs a reworking to ensure that it is both up to date and also, brings a sense of both democracy and meritocracy, that will benefit true justice. It is with this rework of the Prince’s Court of Helious, that we hope shall bring about such a change for the best.

★ Section I: The Aoen-Jirech’it ★
 

The Aoen-Jirech’it is an appointed official who is responsible for the overseeing of the Royarch’s Judicial system. They also may make any changes to the running of the Judicial System that they deem fit, as long as the Royarch is willing to place their signature on such.
 

They are appointed and dismissed at the will of the Royarch, if they are no longer deemed fit, they can be dismissed. The appointment process is also at the discretion of the Royarch and should they choose, the Privy Council.
 

The Aoen-Jirech’it is the high judge of any court case. It is their job to ensure that the proceedings of the case run well and within the bounds of the legal system. They maintain the order and direct the course of the case.
 

The Aoen-Jirech’it works with the Jirech’it during the court case, and at the end of the proceedings, they come up with the verdict of guilt with them, and are the ones tasked with announcing such.
 

The Aoen-Jirech’it also has full right to choose the sentencing of anyone deemed guilty by the court case they are presiding over.

★ Section II: The Jirech’it ★
 

The Jirech’it are members of the public who are chosen via a lottery to join the Aoen-Jirech’it during a trial.
 

The Jirech’it do not interfere with the court’s proceedings, they simply watch the case unfold on either side of the Aoen-Jirech’it as it takes place. Should they act as interference and cause problems during the court case, they may be dismissed by the Aoen-Jirech’it.
 

The Jirech’it take place in deciding the verdict at the end of the court proceedings. They can judge for themselves whether guilty or not and equate for an equal amount of the decision as their fellow Jirech’it and the Aoen-Jirech’it.
 

The Jirech’it may not decide the sentencing of the trial but can make suggestions or advise the Aoen-Jirech’it on what they believe is the best course of sentencing.
 

Once completing their duty, the Jirech’it may not take upon the role for the next two trials unless otherwise stated by the Aoen-Jirech’it, Royarch, or Crown-Prince(ss)

★ Section III: Calling a trial ★
 

A trial may be called to order in two different circumstances:
 

If a civilian wishes to bring another to court for a breach of criminal law or a matter of civil law, they can send a letter to the Aoen-Jirech’it or go directly to the Aoen-Jirech’it to arrange said trial and the arrest of the offender. They may also discuss this with the Royarch of Crown Prince(ss)
 

The Military can also call for a trial, once they have arrested someone caught committing a crime. These trials occur far quicker, a letter is sent to the Aoen-Jirech’it to call the court to order.
 

Upon the Aoen-Jirech’it receiving said information, it is their duty to read over the merits and evidence of the case. If they decide that there is enough evidence and merits to warrant a case taking place they will begin the final process of calling the trial to order, if not they simply throw the case out.
 

The Aoen-Jirech’it, upon deciding it is time to call for trial, must put out a missive stating the trial that is coming to order, naming the accused, prosecutor, crimes committed and any other relevant information. Upon this being made, a date will be arranged for the trial, and depending on the crime, the guard will be called to arrest the accused.
 

Once a date has been set, or the accused is arrested by the guard. The Aoen-Jirech’it is responsible for ensuring any necessary arrangements are made prior to the actual trial taking place.

★ Section IV: Court Procedure ★
 

Before the trial starts, the following must be assured:
 

The Aoen-Jirech’it must be seated at the front of the court, with both Jirech’it on their side.
 

In front of and to the right of the Aoen-Jirech’it would be prosecution’s desk, where the prosecutors will be seated.
 

In front of and to the left of the Aoen-Jirech’it would be the defences' desk, where the defence will be seated.
 

Behind them would be the public, who are all welcomed to watch.
 

The Aoen-Jirech’it then announces the beginning of the trial and both sides make their opening statements, the prosecution first, then the defence once completed.
 

Following this, the prosecution may present its evidence followed by the defence.. In doing this they may bring up witnesses, character witnesses and physical evidence. The Aoen-Jirech’it may call this to an end when deemed fit, to ensure the case does not draw out too long. In addition, should the opposition wish to, they may bring up an objection, such is done by shouting an objection, followed by a type of objection.
 

The types of objection are:
 

Relevance: the point or evidence are irrelevant to the case.
 

Leading: the question put to a witness is trying to guide them to a favourable answer.
 

Argumentative: the question is attempting to cause arguments or get a reaction out of someone.
 

Non-responsive: when a response is offered, but does not fulfil the question asked.
 

Speculation: the statement is viewed as jumping to conclusions without any evidence proving such a conclusion.
 

Opinion: the statement or questions is simply one of opinion and not fact.
 

Hearsay: the statement is based on what someone has heard, but does not know.
 

The Aoen-Jirech’it may make one of two responses. If they say ‘sustained’, they agree with the objector and the opposition must withdraw their question or statement. If they say overruled, they disagree with the objector and the case carries on.
 

Once both sides have completed their arguments, or the Aoen-Jirech’it has called it to an end, the Aoen-Jirech’it and two Jirech’it will convene in a separate chamber for five elven minutes. 

V: Court sentencing
 

When convened in their seperate chamber, the Aoen-Jirech’it and two Jirech’it will quickly discuss the merits of the case and then give their verdict on guilt, briefly followed by why.
 

Should an issue arise during this, the Aoen-Jirech’it may push this time to fifteen elven minutes, if necessary.
 

In addition, the two Jirech’it may also suggest a sentence, should such be necessary, but the Aoen-Jirech’it will be the once solely responsible for such. In the case of civil court cases, the sentence may be more free form, pertaining to reimbursement or other such settlements that fit the case at hand.
 

Once this has been completed, the three will reconvene in court, where the Aoen-Jirech’it will make their verdict on guilt known to the public. Should the verdict be not guilty, then the court will adjourn then and there. If this is not the case and the defendant is found guilty, then the Aoen-Jirech’it will speak the sentence of the defence for it to then be enforced.

★ Section VI: Sentence enforcement ★
 

Once the sentence is passed, it will be enforced by the Aoen-Jirech’it and the guard force of Helious as well as any council member, should such be considered necessary by the Royarch.
 

The guard force is expected to carry out any sentences of banishment by throwing the now guilty party out of the city and declaring them banished. They are also expected to carry out any executions or physical punishments the criminal may be sentenced to endure.
 

The Aoen-Jirech’it and any other member of the Helious council may see to it that any sentences or settlements that pertain to fines or relocation of goods take place, though they can also request the involvement of the guard to help with such.
 

Should the guilty party not be willing to pay their fine or act on the relocation of their goods, then the Aoen-Jirech’it will pass a quick summary judgement, enforcing a harsher punishment. 

★ Section VII: Summary Judgement ★
 

Summary judgments are a rarer, but sometimes necessary form of trial and are often quicker than the regular trials. They may be conducted by the Royarch, Crown Prince(ss) or the Aoen-Jirech’it.
 

Summary judgments are often called when a court case is subject to a time pressure, and must be completed quickly. Should this be the case then the summary judgement will occur.
 

Quickly will the known facts be stated by a trusted official, such as an officer of the guard or member of the Helious Council. Once such is done, the person overseeing the summary judgment may ask the defendant questions pertaining to the case at hand.

Once such is done, the person overseeing will offer their judgement on guilt and then pass a sentence, which is enforced in the same manner as any court sentencing would be.

From Babe to Boy

  On the year 96, of the second age, on a hot summer night in the month of Grand harvest, I bore and delivered to this world, a boy, a Mali’solarii. Blessed by Evris’s blessing of fertility, and the protection of Solaris, A child wailed that night, under the Starlights of the constellation of Ritaa, a strong boy was born, named Ponce O’ Leon Silver-Munnel. 

  From that moment, I have raised this young mali from babe to boy, watching his first steps, and hearing his first words. I shared all my knowledge and love without question or obligation. I have always believed I have never failed my own Ochemarii, and that my village has done its best to raise this boy, but I always knew that at some point, he would be a man. The path of life can bring many surprises, both good and bad.

We all shape our destiny, how we see fit.

From Boy to Man

From boy to man, I saw you grow, prosper, and love. You told me your secrets because you trusted me, it made me happy to know even my son could’ve trusted me as I trusted in him. The saying my friends would always say; “It takes an entire village to raise a boy to a man”, for me it was almost a lie,  a mere myth or unethical philosophy of a bad parent who cannot raise their children. When you were old enough to understand bad from good, you despised your father's absence, as your sisters did as well. I did not excuse him but explained, and to your father, I also explained you. To the entire Munnel family I made up excuses as to why everyone is doing everything, and for the longest time, many have faulted or blamed me for the wrongdoings of those who I defended. 

  In my lifetime, and my own. I had to defend this family by slaying my enemies who deserved not my fury but my compassion. They were merely following orders, as anyone must, they too had a home to return to, a family to feed, as did I when the Royalist came for our home in the Empires folly. We defend our own as we did with your aunt against the Nephlims who came to our lands hunting her. This I believed to have taught you, this was the idea, this was the moral ways of the pack.

From Loyal to Traitor.

“I was a horrible Haelunai, and now I lost an Ochem’ii”

  This missive I have re-written about seven times or more, now that I have truly lost count, and I have no words left to say. Other than the son I once held in my arms that summer night, the son that I watch take his first steps, say mama for the first time, eat his first pie, play with the chickens with his elder sister, the son that I took pride in and would die for to protect him, is now but gone. The times that I gave you a choice, to tell me what is wrong so that I can help you, were but once too many. You trusted those outside who gave you power, whereas I made you earn it so that one day you too will be proud of what you accomplished. Maybe I pushed you too hard, maybe I meddled too deep or crossed your lines too many times. I was a bad Mother, and I have failed you as you never failed me. For that I am sorry, and for such I pay the price of losing you as a son.

  I, Ember An’na Munnel now declare you disowned from this family, and on top of that by the power invested in me, if not already. You are hereby marked for DEATH, for the following crimes in both Nation and Principality.

Helious Law

By the powers invested in the crown and Jirech’it, Ponce is hereby charged with the following crimes.

Amaethean Law

By the power invested as Exarch of Amaethea, Ponce is hereby charged with the following crimes.

Article VII, Section 3 (Classed: Felony)

7.3. Constructs & Creatures

Constructs or creatures conceived out of non-prohibited magical arts or natural means, provided they have not been deemed a danger to the populace, are to be granted safe passage to the Princedom of Amaethea. However, if their will is bound to an individual, and the construct or creature should become rampant, then the master of said construct shall be considered liable for whatever damages occur.

Article V, Section 5 (Classed: Felony)

1.6. Attempted Murder

An act by which an individual attempts to commit or plans an unlawful act of violence with the intent to cause the death of another. A felony.

Article V, Section 5 (Classed: Treason)

5.5. Assassination

An act by which an individual makes an attempt on the life of a member of government or the sovereign themselves.

For these crimes against the Helious & Amaethea, and the citizens under it. Ponce is hereby punished with Disownment of the family of Munnel and Banishment from both Helious and Amaethae. Should Ponce show his face in either he is to be Executed. Any following inheritance shall not be passed nor given upon the deaths or abdication of the matriarch or patriarch at the time and within future generations. Ponce is forbidden from using the Munnel name or the warded name of Bright.

Know that you could’ve redeemed yourself,  I have given so…so many chances, you are not fit to lead, nor hold my name. I take no pleasure in this, I hope & wish you do well in the world beyond.

Section I - Rights

1.1 - Right to Life: All citizens of the land have a right to life and to not have that life unjustly taken from them. 

1.2 - Right to Freedom: All citizens of the land have the right to freedom and not to be held unjustly. 

1.3 - Right to Religion: All citizens of the land have the right to practice any religion they seek fit. 

1.4 - Right to Voice: All citizens of the land may partition the Count, Countess or Heir on any matter they seek fit as long as it directly affects the lands, their own well-being or the well-being of the land.  

1.5 - Right to Self: All citizens of the land have the to live a life free of slavery and discrimination, it should be noted that none of the descendants are above the others. 

1.6 - Right to Knowledge: All citizens of the land have the right to seek and obtain knowledge including that of magic. 

1.7 - Right to Love: All citizens of the land are free to court and marry whomever they wish as long as they are of the age of 18.

Section II - Crimes 

2.1 - Assault & Battery: The act of harming the innocent or implying such is outlawed within the lands, none may be subject to attacks or in fear of such.  

2.2 - Murder: The act of killing an innocent is inexcusable offence and will not be tolerated upon the lands. 

2.2.1 - Plotting: He who plots a murder, hires assassins, bandits or the like shall be held on an additional charge of Plotting. 

2.3 - Thief & Bandit: The act of stealing is wrong and will not be tolerated, those who steal or rob others of their possessions will be dealt with accordingly as people should be free to feel safe.  

2.4 - Destruction of property: The act of destroying buildings or that of one property is immoral and should not be done within the lands. 

2.5 - Trespassing: The act of trespassing on one's property is not allowed within the lands.  

2.6 - Destruction of Nature: The willing destruction of nature with no purpose or goal is forbidden within the lands.

2.7 - Fraud: As defined as the selling of illegitimate goods, not paying taxes, attempting to scam others or providing false currency or trades. 

2.8 - Treason: The act of betraying the Princeipality of Helious.

2.8.1: Slaughter under trust - the act of inviting one into your home for safety well having plans to kill them.

2.8.2: Regicide - The act or attempted act of killing the Prince, Princess or Heir apparent.

2.8.3: High Treason - The act or attempted act of trying to overthrow the rulers or the plotting to do so.

2.8.4: Murder of Noblility - The act of killing one of the Noble Lords of Helious.

2.9 - Attempt: Attempting any of the above will result in the same charge with a lesser sentence with the exception of 2.8

Section III - Courtship and marriage

3.1 - Age: One is only allowed to court or marry when both parties are over the age of 18

3.2 - Marriage: In order to marry one is allowed the following options:

3.2.1 - A ceremony performed by the Prince, Princess, Crown Prncess or Speak of  Oriasm

3.2.2 - A ceremony performed by a priest of the couple’s chosen faith

Section IV - Magics and the Arts

4.1 - Paladin, Druid, and Templars: Magics and Arts of a holy nature shall be allowed without restrictions within the land of Helious.

4.2 - Voidal Magics: The Teaching, Study and Use of Voidal Magics within Helious is allowed as long as they do not violate the following.

4.2.1 - Experimentation that could harm or warp nature is forbidden.

4.2.2 - Experimentation that could cause damage to civilians and the property of Helious is forbidden 

4.2.3 - Experimentation that uses voidal corruptions is forbidden. 

4.2.4 - Using voidal magic to harm things such as Epiphytes is forbidden.

4.3 - Necromancy, and other Dark Arts: Magics of the Undead or Dark nation are forbidden within the lands of Helious. If caught possessing these magics the individual shall be detained for questioning then dealt with properly. 

4.4 - Shamanism, Housemagery and other neutral magics: Magics that do not fall into the other three categories shall be allowed so long as they are not used to cause unnecessary harm.

Section V - Forbidden Entities

5.1 - The Undead: Those who are risen from their graves, shall not be allowed within the lands of the sun, should one enter the land of Helious, and, are to be disposed of. 

5.1.1 The only expectation of this law is harmless spirits wishing to fulfill their duties so they may pass on to the next life, or wishing to impart their knowledge onto the living, or wishing for aid.

5.2 - Vampires: Those who suck the blood of the descendants in order to live, shall not be allowed within the lands of the sun, should one enter the land of Helious, and, are to be disposed of. 

5.2.1 - The only expectation of this law is the ones who wish to be cured and actively seek aid in order to do so.

5.3 - Frost Witches: Heartless creatures that feast on the hearts of the descendants, shall not be allowed within the lands of the sun, should one enter the land of Helious, and, are to be disposed of.

5.4 - Demons: These evil beings and their kin, shall not be allowed within the lands of the sun, should one enter the land of Helious, and, are to be disposed of.

Section VI - Defenses

6.1 - Self Defense: The act of defending oneself against unjust assault, battery or attempted murder.

6.2 - Relcimation: The act of peacefully reclaiming one’s property.

Section VII - Judgement 

When a crime is committed within the lands of Helious and the accused to apprehended The Order of The Dawn Blades or the Local Guards are expected to detain them until a time where they can be appropriately judged, within the county, there are Five people who may do this. With a new age comes new changes. With the ascension of Jarad Munnel to the throne of the Mali’Solarii comes a new age, one where they may rebuild and come together once more. Thus we announce a new knightly order, one to serve Helious. The Order of the Golden Bow shall reform into the Order of the Dawn Blades.

Knight Grandmaster

The Grandmaster of the order serves as the commander, this rank is most often held by the Prince however it may be delegated if deemed necessary, The Knight grandmaster is responsible for appointing Knight-Sentinels, approving squireships, accepting oaths and general order management.

Knight Captain

The Capitan is the second in command of the order, often giving it to a trusted member of the order. The captain is responsible for regular checks on the knight, general management of the order and aiding the grandmaster.

Knight-Sentinel

Knight-Sentinels are senior members of the order, most often responsible for training the squires and may take a squire of their own.

Knight

Knights are those who have taken their oaths, completed their Trials and Trainings, and been sworn in as a knight of the order by the grandmaster. 

Squire

Squires are new members of the order who have taken their oaths and are the path to knightship.

The act of taking a squire within the order is done through a normal process, any of those with the rank of Knight-Sentinel may take on a squire of their own or have one assigned to them by the capital or the grandmaster of the order. However should a knight wish to squire someone they must receive permission from the grandmaster in order to do so.

─★─ Trials ─★─

A Squire’s trials are broken down into five separate categories. 

-The Trial of the Mind-

The Trial of the Mind is designed to test the squires endurance, mental fortitude and perseverance. During this trial a squire must not eat or drink anything but water for twenty-four hours, after which they will face off in several back-to-back rounds of sparring with other squires and knights. The Trial is completed once they are able to complete every round of sparing without concededing or being unable to fight.

-The Trial of the Sword-

The Trail of the Sword is meant to test the metal of the squire forcing them to not only go out and find but slay a form of darkspawn and being back proof of their victory.

-The Trial of the Heart-

The Trial of the Heart is ment to test one's compassion, for this trial the squire in question must go out and perform five selfless acts in five different nations, gathering the signatures of those they aid.

-Trial of the Hunt-

The Trial of the Hunt calls back to the roots of the order and its predecessor. During this trial the squire is required to and seek out a large beast, often a morko bear or something of equivalent strength, they must single handedly hunt and kill their prey without outside help and bring back it's hide as proof.

-Personalized-

After the four primary trials are completed squires are given one or two personalized trials for the squire in order to test them on a deeper level. Often one of these trials requires the squire to forge their own weapon.

─★─ Customs, Addressment & Expectations ─★─

Male knights are referred to with ‘Sel’ as a prefix well Female knights are referred to with a ‘Sul’ as a prefix. Both of which represent the individual as a knightly member of the order. Often upon achieving knighthood a knight will also receive a title related to their trials and how they were faced, along with their attitudes and general actions outside orderly duties and trials.

Those within the order have three primary expectations placed upon them, the first of these expectations would be to help the innocent. Should they see someone in trouble the knight is expected to go out of their way in order to aid them. 

The second expectation is to follow the commands of Grandmaster and the Prince of Helious as is stated in their oaths.

The third expectation is to never allow the dark to take hold of themselves, the home of the Mali’solarii or anywhere else possible. They are to never be friends with darkspawn and should they have the chance too, kill or cure them. However this charge is not to be mistaken with foolish behaviours, charging in head first to mortal peril without any hopes of winning.

After must confusion and poor decisions recently by the fishing guild, including the rapid change of leadership between Relnol and Lujain, threats made to the crown and the overall rift made overtime between the crown and the leadership of the fishing guild the following is decreed:

1) The SS fishy fishy is returned to the control of the crown

a) Sheo Amanthul-Var'suuth and Lorec Bani Stormheart shall be allowed to be caretakers of the boat and it may be used for fishing, however the boat will remain anchored in Helious.

2) The Fishing Guild Dock is returned to the control of the crown.

a) Anyone who wishes to use it for fishing may do so.

3) All other guild property within Helious will now be considered property of the crown.

4) No Fishing Guild members are banished as they have committed zero times against the crown.

5) The Members of the fishing guild are still free to fish if they so choose too

6) Helious will cease to support the fishing guild diplomatically and internationally until such a time where a new permanent leader of the guild is appointed and meets with the leader of Helious in order to clear up any remaining concerns.
