It has come as a great shock that a cadet branch beneath my name and the name of my family, House de Joannes - has been created without my knowledge, in fact by a woman and man who battle with my allies and kin. While you may be related to us by blood, your actions against House von Draco and House de Joannes make you terribly ineligible for the creation of another House beneath my own. As Patriarch and rightful ruler of Sedan, I hereby declare House von Vahn an illegitimate cadet branch of the de Joannes line and demand that it be dissolved at once. Failure to comply will result in appropriate punishment to all which illegally carry its name.

I wish not to go against my own kin as you have, Lady Aviana von Draco, and I hope you will understand and fix your mistakes. I urge that if there is to be the creation of a new branch, it is sought for with my blessings.

The march of Ser Chadvik ‘The Bold’

After a failed attempt to storm Joannesport and yet another failed attempt to capture the Prince of Sedan, Aleksy of Rozania was running low on options. If the war effort went on much longer without success, his Father would soon order him to abandon Almaris and return to Cahir in disgrace. Prince Aleksy could not allow it, as after all his life he finally had an opportunity to prove himself to both his Father and older brother. He needed a victory, and very soon.

A stroke of luck came after the failed attempt to capture Prince Frederick de Joannes. A Rozanian soldier by the name of Chadvik had proven to have exemplary skills, having fended off three attackers simultaneously and almost escaping with the Prince of Sedan in his custody. Even if the Sedanian Prince had been just barely recovered, Chadvik’s skills were undeniable. Prince Aleksy hailed him as a true Rozanian warrior, and had Chadvik knighted and promoted to the rank of Commander. A man of such skill to fend off three well-trained Sedanian warriors would surely be the key to defeating the Sedanian forces in battle. 

“Go forth, Ser Chadvik ‘The Bold’. I give you leave to engage the forces of Sedan in battle, and to put an end to this Sedanian menace once and for all!”

The assembled soldiers erupted in cheers, inspired to follow their new Commander into battle. And so, Ser Chadvik ‘The Bold’ marched forth with an army of 10,000 men to engage the Sedanian alliance in the open field and decide the fate of this war once and for all.

Beneath the sunlight of the summer fell a cruel day upon the Principality of Sedan, the falling of both friend and foe as the city ran red. Yet from this tragedy of the Rozanians being butchered within the streets of  Joannesport, a love blossomed between two unlikely souls. Two souls whose fates would have otherwise left them lost to time and never to meet again had bonded through what could only be the beginning of something more. 

The wedding of his Serene Highness, Prince Frederick II @outcook and Charlotte Roberta Petra Novellen @Cepheid will commence in the coming Tobias's Bounty of 1909 witnessed by all their acquaintances, friends, and family. This union shall be held within the walls of the Cathedral of Saint Alexander of Furnestock at the heart of Joannesport by Father Victor of Blackwater. It is asked that guests wear their finest attires to the main event. Afterwards, it will be followed by a celebration in the seaside-city’s center and a wide variety of festivities will be there. All are invited to attend the most wondrous occasion.

THE ROYAL WEDDING

Under the eyes of GOD and those dearest to the pair, they will be wed at the Cathedral of Saint Alexander of Furnestock by Father Victor of Blackwater.  The ceremony will be conducted under traditional canonist rites before proceeding onto the festivities. 

THE FESTIVAL OF FATES

During the joust, there will be quite the many stalls for games, prizes, fair-food, merriment, and more. The square will be set up with games and the likes for the enjoyment of the guests. Ring tosses, drinking contests, and goat wrangling will be available to name a few, each with their own prizes.

JOUST

In the city plaza, there will be a temporary jousting area set up for those that would like to participate in the joust. The sign ups for the tournament will be open at the time of the festival and will be ongoing until the end of the first round. The winner of the joust will receive 500 minas and the title of Champion of Joannesport.

TO THE SQUATTERS OF JOANNESPORT

Your Rejection of our terms has left my Father, His Majesty King Armitage, greatly disappointed. While I had hoped you would be reasonable enough to evacuate our rightful lands and prevent bloodshed, I should have known that it was not to be. Sedanian stubbornness has been and always shall be your greatest flaw, one that shall lead to your downfall in the field of battle.

On behalf of His Majesty, Armitage Roza, Rightful King of Rozania; I, Prince Aleksy Vyztoryas Roza, issue a Declaration of War upon the Principality of Sedan and its allies. Our swords shall cross, our dead shall litter the fields, and GOD shall determine who he favors. You have made a grave error, Prince Frederick of Sedan, and I will not rest until either Joannesport is naught but ash or I am rotting in the field.

To those who call themselves allies of these Sedanian Squatters, be weary. My Father has no wish to combat those he has no quarrel with, yet should you intervene we will unleash our swords upon you as well.

You say that for too long House de Joannes have been settled unto your lands and that we unlawfully tread these paths that your ancestors once claimed. You demand the capital port to simply be handed to you, as if the people of Sedan and royals of House de Joannes are so weak to simply submit to King Oisin. No longer will Sedan be thrashed and beaten by those who think they can oppose it. Never have the Sedanian people cowered from trouble, and that will not change.

I await your bold threat of war, King. Should you go through with your idiotic plan then you will face the vehement defense the Sedanian people hold - their persistence to live in a world that is best for them. To live in a city that is rightfully theirs.

And perhaps you may see my strife and my own resolve towards the lands entrusted to me since birth, out in the vegetated fields you promise to leave bloodied. No matter what,

Anguished screams break the silence of a restful Sedani night. The curious few who venture into the street find the air clogged with black smoke thick enough to water the eyes and pain the throat. The road is littered with shattered glass, and the Krüger home is a fire-licked beacon against a starless sky.

It burns long into the next day, and only after the final sputtering breaths of flame does the carnage within the home reveal itself. Surfaces left untouched by the blaze are discolored or rusted in deep russet shades, suggesting great bloodshed prior to the burn. A gathering of mismatched bones found in the rubble and ash detail six deaths as a result of the slaughter and following inferno — four adults, two children. Amongst the onlookers, there was not a Krüger to be found.

Once more, Amicia rode on her elderly horse Artax towards her old home. She came here once every three months, not wanting to lose ties with them now that she lived in an entirely different country. Where her home in Sedan always reminded her of her husband, her home was a pleasant reminder of her sister and father, whom she had always dearly loved. She put Artax in his stable, fed him a nice carrot and readjusted her black cape for the small walk towards the keep. She had worn nothing but black since her husband’s passing so many years ago, and today was no different. However, she did like the way the white of the Haeseni snow looked on the darkness of her dress. She climbed the steps to the front door and entered the gates with a soft smile on her face.
 

“Mamej?” A small voice echoed through the halls. A young, black haired girl stumbled out of her room, a lantern clutched firmly in her hand. She could be no older than 4 years old, her eyes teary from the nightmare she had moments before. “Mamej? Are you there?” The girl asked once more, her bare feet moving slowly over the carpet. After a small walk, she finally reached the stairs towards her parents room. As she reached her fist forward to knock, the door creaked open. A tall, black haired man stared back at her, the whites of his eyes a deep red, the circles under his eyes extremely dark and his skin as white as the snow on the window. He looked incredibly annoyed, a sigh leaving his lips as if this was a daily occurance. “Amicia. Go back to bed.”

"I am ever so glad you have found some time to yourself.” The Princess Dowager told her sister. The two of them could not be more different. Her twin Adele was fair and blonde, incredibly intelligent and a little naive at times. Amicia, on the other hand, had inherited the darker hair from her father, was more creative and could be quite thorough and unforgiving. When Adele preferred to read, Amicia would write and play music. Where Adele married for love, despite her family's initial dislike towards her suitor, her own marriage had been fully arranged by her father by the time she was six. Though there was one thing they could always agree on: Family is the most important thing. 

The 8 year old girl frantically held her twin sister, squeezing her hand. “Adele, you need to breathe.” She urged her, taking some deep breaths herself. “Look, follow me. I’ll do it with you.” Amicia took a deep breath, looking at her sister with a great intent. She had to bide time until the servant could arrive with Adele’s special kit. It was a good thing it had been replenished earlier that week, otherwise the situation might have been more dire. As the blonde girl tried to breathe along with Amicia, the latter girl’s face lifted ever so slightly. “There you go. Well done. Keep going.” 

Amicia sat in the parlor, a basket of yarn next to her. She was knitting a pair of gloves, something she had done for all her children and grandchildren. She had always wished for them to come with her to Haense, however only her youngest son Peter had ever expressed the desire to come along. That, however, did not stop her from making the gloves. As she sat back in her chair, her eyes drifted to a painting of her and her family, back when her husband was still alive. It was one of the only paintings made of the complete de Joannes household, one where even the stillborn Julia was depicted. 

“Hello my love.” A small kiss was pressed against Amicia’s forehead. She was sitting in a chair on the balcony, her hands resting on her heavily pregnant stomach. The woman smiled in return, her head turning to look up at her husband. “This could be the last day where it is just the two of us, Frederick. Is that not exciting?” The man nodded in return, kneeling down next to her. “It is indeed.” As the pair watched the sun rise over the hills of Louisville, the couples’ child kicked once more in Amicia’s stomach. Just a few hours later Amicia would give birth to her first children: A beautiful set of twins. They would be followed by two more boys and one stillborn girl. 

With one more Hussarian cross, Amicia finished her nightly prayer. She put her hands on top of the bed, using the firm mattress to push herself back up on her feet. It was the final thing she did each day before getting herself ready for bed. Amicia opened the closet and took out a freshly washed nightgown. She brought it up to her nose and inhaled deeply. She had always requested her fresh nightgowns to be sprayed in her late husband’s favorite perfume, so to be able to carry his scent along with her, A smile came across the woman’s face as she would be reminded of the wonderful memories they had shared. 

Amicia helped the servants prepare the dining room, as she would always do for the after-mass tea. She was carrying a tray of ceramics out of the kitchen, when a soldier approached her in quite a haste. The woman’s eyebrows furrowed, a look of confusion spreading over her face. “Your Serene Highness,” the man spoke, deeply out of breath from his run up the hill. “You must come with me this instant. Something happened to the Prince.” Amicia immediately dropped her tray, the ceramics clashing and breaking into little pieces on the floor. Without a second thought she followed the soldier down the hill and entered the church. As she approached the hoard of people standing near the dias, her eyes managed to make out a small puddle of blood between the people’s legs. Amicia made her way through the crowd, all the air leaving her lungs as she recognised the body of her husband among the blood. She had never felt so hopeless.

Amicia would rest her head on the pillow, taking a deep breath. As she laid in the bed alone, her mind would wander once more. After a few minutes of wandering, her eyes would slowly close. However, shortly after she would be startled by a familiar, warm voice coming from her right. “Hello my dear.” She opened her eyes once more, her eyes needing adjusting to the bright light a few feet from her eyes. Within the bright light she would make out two silhouettes. It did not take long for her to recognise the first as it was one she had dreamed of every night. As her eyes adjusted, she could see his features more clearly. The same nose and dirty blonde hair she would recognise in almost all of her children. Frederick stood there in the light, holding a little girl: their lost daughter Julia. Next to them stood a man, almost unrecognizable to her. His gray hairs and dark circles were nowhere to be seen. His skin was clear, his ribs and collarbone were nowhere to be seen and his posture was straight. It was nowhere near the dying image of Johann that lived in Amicia’s head. This man looked healthy and happy, a picture of the man she had only seen in the first two years of her life. The woman sat up, threw the blanket from her legs and got herself off the bed. Almost in unison, Frederick and Johnan would lift their arms, welcoming Amicia in for an embrace. A big smile came across her face as she walked towards them, her own arms lifting as well as she closed the gap between all of them, falling into the arms of two of the most important men in her life.

The following morning, Amicia Valerie de Joannes née Ludovar was found dead in her bed. She had passed peacefully in her sleep, a smile resting on her face.

        House Krüger is a noble house rising from humble beginnings in the roots of Old Orenia, where they began as taverners and farmers under a steady line of work; as long as men waged war kegs needed to be built and ale needed to flow. Historical opportunists and trailblazers lent the family their name. Their first investment of note was a small tavern in the hamlet of Orenia, aptly named 'The Crow and the Bramble'. It was little more than a lean-to, and yet the diligence of their labors soon upgraded the tavern to an inn. Making a name for themselves as tradesmen, lumber smiths, and carpenters — the  Krügers forged a handy reputation. Throughout the years, the humble roots have not been lost to time. Continued dedication to the craft of woodwork, Inn keeping, and carpentry kept the family steady until a handful of budding Krügers settled peacefully into Providence, and thus their first big move from tradition.
        Providence welcomed them warmly — and their contributions meant notoriety. The Le Fleur Theatre hosted the family's first works of music and of fine arts. Whilst their written works meant no calloused palms from hard labor, it signaled loyalty to the upper crust of Orenian society; the nobles found reprieve from politics in their music, and delight in the theatrics of their plays. When the city of Providence fell, too did the artists' work falter in favor of hard labor, as the throws of a crumbled city meant a significant move. The Krügers decided to take the gamble and settled in Joannesport, Sedan, where they began to bloom into a household name. Delighted with their assistance in the cities growth, the young Prince Frederick II bestowed upon them titleage, and it is here in the present day that the Krügers forge their future.

  ℌ𝔢𝔞𝔡𝔰 𝔬𝔣 ℌ𝔬𝔲𝔰𝔢:  

        ➼ Patriarch of House Krüger and Baron of Vittalitze, Brandt Krüger, manages the family's internal affairs as its source of inventions, financial and territorial analyst, and unifier. He began his first notable line of work, playwriting, during his younger years as a nameless foot soldier for the Orenian Army. Passion for the written word and superior abstract and arithmetic thinking made him a potent portent of the Penultimate Art for the Orenian Crown as the Head of the Imperial Alchemist Cabinet; though he no longer brandishes this title, he's widely regarded as internationally recognized expert in all things alchemical. He is likewise characterized as a man of invention, genius and relentless ambition; rumor suggests he currently supervises the training of champions meant to fly the House’s banner during times of Hanseti-Sedanite crisis, the motive behind his latest absence. When Brandt Krüger undergoes lapses of adroit, erudite isolation that withdraw him from the public limelight, wife and political figurehead Vittoria Krüger and courtly daughter Dahlya Krüger act as pundits of his and the House's political and cultural doctrine.

        ➼ The current Baroness of the house, Vittoria Krüger of Vittalitze, maintains a figurehead status of diplomatic relations. She manages the inner workings of the home and acts as the public facing representative of their Noble House. It is her mastery of the Fine Arts that lends her a unique presentation; she lectures at the Celia’nor branch of the Bard College, where she covers a broad span of painting and artisan courses. Vittoria is also an avid musician and master cellist, whose musical talents have been bestowed to the daughters of the House — one of whom serves as a Royal Hanseti Musician. Additionally, she is a master of design and carpentry, and it is through her spatial manipulation and visionary pursuits that any house they reside in is transformed into a home. Practicality is at the forefront of her mind at all times, and this is demonstrated in the finery that her family wears, which is oft tailored or entirely crafted under her attentive hands. Vittoria is known to be a woman of honor, great intellect, and great diplomatic talent with respect to her multicultural expertise. 

        ➼ Heiress-Honorable Dahlya is the eldest child of the house. Beloved daughter to the Baron and Baroness, Dahlya is a woman becoming of the Krüger name, serving as a Royal Musician in the city of Haense, a Lady in Waiting of Princess Niamh de Joannes, and a confidante of Prince Frederick II of Sedan. Dahlya is a refined young woman and sports equally refined interests. She is often found tending to the Court equines and is knowledgeable in their care. Lady Dahlya expresses interest in reading and writing — not all that dissimilar to her father — and is likewise apt to political and diplomatic interests who shows great promise as Heiress to the House; the worldly grapevine regales that Dahlya's courtly expertise is echoed throughout the political realm, despite working solely within Sedan, suggesting international pupils. Despite her recent widowing, those who know her would say the Heiress-Honorable is of great wit, remarkable kindness, and undying fealty to her those she considers family.

TO THE CITIZENS AND LOYAL MEN OF SEDAN,

Last Saints-Day, Joannesport was wrongfully raided by those called The Order of the Platinum Cross, more commonly referred to as Paladins. Reports detail these armored Paladins entered the city armed, bashing in doors and invading the home of House Krüger, one of the realms most loyal noble houses. Baron Brandt Krüger and his family were harmed, he in specific bound in his own home, released only after negotiating with the Paladins. Various visitors, including my own cousin, were halted in the roads and prevented from aiding the Krüger family whilst they fought off their attackers.

After investigations by the Goats of Saint Alexander and Sedan’s allies, it has been concluded that the motherland’s people were attacked as a means for the barbaric Order to enact revenge for the murder of one of their people recently in Sedan. To harm the citizens of Joannesport for something they or I had nothing to do with - is beyond unacceptable, and will surely not be taken lightly. Should I have been contacted about the matter, discussions would have been held and the issue would have been resolved. But no, instead my people are attacked and blood is spilled. For this, Alaterial and your followers, I demand you appear before my council and answer to your crimes. If my order is not met, I nor my people will be responsible for what occurs next. I have tolerated much during my reign, but no more.

Prince Aleksy of Rozania stood atop the front of his flagship, surveying the old ruins of Yong Ping alongside his trusted advisors. For too long had his Family lived in self-imposed Exile on an island off the shores of Almaris, for Aleksy was here to see the lands that rightfully belonged to his Brother, Father, and all those before him. Aleksy turned to the men assembled upon his ship, swords at their sides and anticipation in their eyes as they awaited the words of the second born Prince.

Only a few miles inland sits the Principality of Sedan and their ill-settled city of Joannesport, growing fat off lands that our Ancestors died for! It was Sedan that allowed Rozania to weaken itself with infighting, then swooping in to take our homes when we could do nothing to stop them!”

The Bannermen of Aleksy’s flagship grumbled amongst themselves, whispers of Oisin’s Rebellion and the battles between Rozania and Sedan being spoken across the deck. Aleksy raised his hand for silence once more, drawing his sword and holding it to the sky.

“I, Prince Aleksy of Rozania, Second born son of Prince Armitage, the rightful King of Rozania, have been sent here for one purpose. Drive the Sedanians off the soil of our ancestors and mount the de Joannes family on spikes! Stand with me, Sons of the Oisinite cause! Drive the Goats off our Rosefields!”

Aleksy was met with roaring cheers as the Rozan bannermen drew their blades in support of the Prince. In victory or defeat, Aleksy’s men were prepared to follow him to avenge their past grievances against the Principality of Sedan.

TO THE SQUATTERS OF JOANNESPORT

Too long. For too long the Rozanian lands have been squatted upon by the greedy House de Joannes that has sought to grow fat off the pastures we Rozanians once toiled. I have come not to negotiate, but to give forth the demands set out by my righteous Father; His Majesty, Armitage Fleurgrass Roza. 

To Frederick II, Prince of Sedan:

• The squatter-city of Joannesport must be surrendered to the forces of House Roza.

• All titles that the Principality of Sedan may have accumulated during Oisin’s Rebellion, such as the ‘Destroyer of Rozanians’ title, must forever be destroyed.

• All organized levies under the service of the Principality of Sedan must surrender their weaponry and march back under guard towards the City of Louisville, where the House de Joannes never should have strayed from.

• The Principality of Sedan must supply the House of Roza with building supplies to tear down Joannesport and reconstruct the City of Roza.

These terms are non-negotiable. Failure to accept these terms within three Saint’s Days shall lead to an official Declaration of War. Any assault on those who serve the rightful holders of the Rozanian lands shall lead to a Declaration of War. We will not fight those who seek no fight with us, as our cause lies solely on removing imposing foreigners from our lands.

The Principality of Celia’nor and The Principality of Sedan, after many lengthy discussions, see themselves sharing a similar mindset and goal for the future of their own people and respective realms. Because of this, His Serene Highness Frederick II, and Her Highness Valyris Ibarellan see it fit to bind the two nations together in an alliance and pursue success together in the midst of such a dark world.  

ARTICLE I: FULL ALLIANCE

SECTION I: ALLIANCE

The Principalities of Sedan and Celia’nor, hereby referred to as ‘THE GOATED STARS’, sign a new alliance between the two sovereignties henceforth known as 

I. The Goated Stars agree to a military alliance.

II. The Goated Stars agree that an attack by a third party against one of them is an attack against both of them.

III. The Goated Stars agree to settle any dispute between them or in which they may be involved through peaceful means in such a manner that this alliance and the laws of The Goated Stars are not endangered. 

IV. The Goated Stars agree to consult together whenever, in the opinion of either of them, the territorial integrity, political independence or security of The Goated Stars is threatened.

V. The Goated Stars agree to discuss military expeditions with one another and agree to assist one another in such campaigns.

VI. The Goated Stars recognise one another’s sovereignties and their respective leaders as the rightful rulers of their land.

SECTION II: MILITARY COOPERATION

The Goated Stars agree to engage in military cooperation in light of Section I.

I. The Goated Stars agree to share information of a military nature or usage between one another.

II. The Goated Stars agree to allow the other to move through their lands.

SECTION III: TRADE

The Goated Stars agree that a pact of free-trade shall begin between both parties, with each agreeing:

I. That nation-affiliated merchants shall be allowed to trade in the other signatory’s nation without unnecessary tax or harassment.

II. That each signatory shall receive one untaxed stall to sell whatever goods they see fit, so long as they do not break said nation’s laws.

III.  That each signatory shall offer their preferred weaponry as export to one another’s nations.

The Confessions of a Sinner

I have done many things I am not proud of in life, many of which shall be lost to time hopefully. As the nephew of the late Tony Romano, I was held to high expectations by the kin of the Titan. I met many, shook hands with the vilest folk who ever walked the continent. Many names are known, but others I shall take to the grave, and may GOD give us the strength to kill them all. I may have been one of them, but I will never stray the path in death.

Foofaraw Festival 

Music festival for the people. 

[!] Thousands of musical note-framed letters would be scattered throughout all major towns, cities, and routes in an effort to reach even the Loneliest Bard.

I, Mayrin Evergreen, would like to officially invite everyone from all around the world to the Foofaraw Festival! There will be much enjoyable entertainment to enjoy during the festival, which will be held within the sedan. For instance, a musical competition with awards,  vendors, and more! I truly hope many of you will be able to attend this festival as it is to have fun and enjoy the wonders of musical culture

Festivities/Time Table 

Opening Event 

As we bring the musical festival to you, peruse the sellers offering a variety of goods. Any bard is welcome to attend, set up their caravan and tents, join in the singing, and take pleasure in the occasion as much as we do. donning brightly colored apparel and going down the street while playing music. As we showcase these activities and events to the public and the community that is hosting us. A judge will be concealed among the crowds as people move about to determine which costumes are the finest and award prizes later for them.

Games 

We are even surprised by the number of games put up. Bringing in our ancient but massive music box to assist us in our quest as we let individuals to face off as seats steadily diminished in number and such a simple music game turns into a brawl to be the final one standing.

We'll also play timeless music like Take Note: A word card is drawn to play this game. The first team performs a song that uses the word that was drawn. The second team then takes over and sings a different song with the same phrase starting their verse.  The teams alternate turns in the game until one of them runs out of options. Rhyming is a must here! Set this to a timer and somehow it truly turns into battle of the bards. 

Battle of the Bard 

We will begin the musical competition, a genuine battle of the bard, to conclude our festival. According to the crowd's votes, the victor will be referred to as the King or Queen of Bards. Each musician will be given one song to perform for the audience and charm them. The winners of the first, second, and third places will get a variety of prizes, including mina, specially manufactured instruments, and the smallest harmonica we could locate!

As a Prince of Sedan, family comes first. Since our time of being removed viciously by The Holy Orenian Empire all those years ago, our family has stuck by one another and the Joannes name in order to remain strong. It comes with great heartbreak that I must relay the fault in my uncle, Prince Louis Owyn de Joannes. Through my regent's efforts, a plot to make off with the traditional titles of Haverlock has been discovered whereupon he did aim to become a vassal of Aaun against my will whilst claiming a title and land that is by all accounts my right. Such is not accepted by myself nor my regent. In truth I feel betrayed, he swore to my father to aid my reign, and yet whilst still in my minority he does aim to profit. 

This aim to profit comes at the great revelation that the man has no claim to even be of my house. A book by my late Grandfather does reveal that the man is adopted, and seeks to jump well above his station for no other reason than ambition. One must ask at this point how it is allowed by any stretch by the King of Aaun for this man to subvert my crown. One must ask what sort of man my own uncle is to plot and abandon me. For this level of disrespect, I demand proper recompense, King Charles of Aaun. For Sedan does not tolerate traitors.

Themed balls have long been a practice for rejuvenating states to present their glories to the wider world and celebrate the cultural rebirth which they have undertaken. In line with this, the Principality of Sedan wishes to host a Midnight Ball, serving as both a celebration of the harvest festivals this season, as well as an exposition of the wider culture of Sedan. This ball shall draw on traditional harvest festivities practiced by Sedanian farmers during our principality’s inception. Just as we take this time to enjoy the fruits of our harvest labors, so too are we entering the seasons of long, dark nights and the seasonal decay of the natural world.

Sedan, having finally settled in with the abruptness of their regency and secured two alliances - aims to hold a ball and other activities in celebration, her people needing to be brought together and encouraged to participate in a night of fun. 

This ball will call for guests to don attire in the form of the absurd, frightening, or animalistic. Monsters, scarecrows, beasts, witches, and more, are encouraged.

Typically, however, the Chancellor-and-Proprietor is mainly tasked with representing the order both to the Church and foreign nation-states in cases of diplomacy as well as the maintenance of properties and lands controlled by the order.

EQUESTOR - The Knight of the Order is truly a fearless knight, and secure on every side, for his soul is protected by the armor of faith, just as his body is protected by the armor of steel. He is thus doubly-armed, and needs neither demons nor men. They are offered the title of 'Ser'. 

BROTHER-ARMIGER - Squire of the Order, known for how long they have been in the Order for. As most of them may be better fighters due to their age, most who hold this rank have earned it from their decades of loyalty to the Faith, Crown and the Order.

BROTHER-CAPRANUS - Veterans of the Order, typically having years of experience under their belt. The Brother-Capranus are tasked with acting as mentors to the Recruits and Brother's of the Order.

BROTHER-SERGEANT - Those who have proven their loyalty to the Faith, Crown,  and the Order, Brother-Sergeants are proven fighters of the Order who have risen above their Brothers in ranks.

BROTHER - The core and bulk of the Order’s manpower, Brothers are those who have taken the first initiatory rites and have sworn themselves in faithful service to their fellow peers.

RECRUIT - Inexperienced and untrained, Recruits are the neophytes of the Order who have yet finished their first year of service or made their oath to the Order and Crown.

MEDICUS - Those who provide medical needs to the Order, the Medicus rank is given to those who have proven their medical proficiencies within the Order, their sole job to provide their Brothers’ in the practice of medicine.

ALMONER - Any brother of the Order who has taken clerical vows are given the robes of the Almoner, tasked with the important duties of giving alms and aid to the poor and lame, as well as efforts in proselytization

As the crown has been passed down to the next generation, Prince Robert ( @Blake0205 ) , the rightful heir decided to step down and give the throne to his younger brother, Frederick II ( @outcook ) , due to his disability.

Since the new Sovereign Prince is still too young to rule, it has been decided his uncle, Prince Peter, will take the mantle of Lord Regent until the Sovereign Prince reaches adulthood and is ready to rule.

It is with much desolation that the House von Bardenwig-Alstreim declares the passing of its Matriarch, and concurrently Baroness of Arentania. The cause of her demise is the growing cancer that had developed in her body and slowly drained the drive of the madame. Upon her passing to the Seven Skies, she called for her other triplets, who were now scattered amongst Almaris.

Now, in our Baroness’ demise, her husband shall be invested as the Lord Arentania and Patriarch of House von Bardenwig-Alstreim due to the young age of their heir, and his previous administratorship of the affairs concerning the family.

TO THOSE INTERESTED,

Her Serene Highness and her Court wish to invite you to join us for one of our regular tea parties. This one, however, shall be much more special due to the upcoming blue moon. A blue moon is often considered good luck, as it is said to illuminate the hopes and dreams of those it shines downwards on. 

Due to the circumstances, we invite both men and women to our tea-party and hope that guests will dawn the colour blue to further the moon’s superstitions. The Princess Court will be serving a large menu of items, including teas, wines, and pastries.

The nights howls with the emptiness left in our creaking home and most chattering has succumbed to silence with the loss of our parent’s presence. The breaking of dawn seems vastly lonelier with no clear view of where to go next with our life journey. Walking through those same streets where you laid your last breaths feels ever more suffocating. I wish for your companionship again, never would I have thought that I could lose you both at such a fragile age. There are so many life lessons I must learn in order to honour the name I have been given but you are not here to help me. I am sorry for how unruly I was, my childish antics overcame my common sense and I don’t know if I can forgive myself. There is still so much I desire to display to you, my harp skills have become quite adequate and I have become more ‘ladylike’ for you as I engrave similar looks to you both. I yearn for a last embrace or even a last goodbye for I have been stripped of even that. I do not care if you both were vampyres, first and foremost you were my parents who gave life to me. You both cared and treasured our family with every amount of love intertwined within yourselves. I wish for you to come back. I wish for the laughter we shared to ring in my ears once more. I wish for all of us to be family again. They have spilled the blood of my kin and I will never have those precious innocent moments again. Now I must live with despair and bareness of my soul as my pure childhood was cut short. I hope you are pleased with such outcomes and the destruction of the Jazloviecki youthfulness.
