The Brotherhood of the Iron Wolf is a group of Knights based in the wildlands, their Founder and Grandmaster is Maximus Aurelius. Their symbol is a Howling Wolf surrounded by Laurels. Maximus Aurelius was the 10th son of a high ranking general, his mother died in childbirth and his father never forgave him for it, blaming Maximus, Marcus turned to drink and abuse of his youngest child. When Maximus was 15 the king of Haense, sent him on a mission against some barbarian tribes in the area and had Marcus executed for his treatment of the boy turned commander. Maximus shortly after married his long time love, Julia Ceasarius and in their wedding night she was killed by a Zombie. After this Maximus turned to his own darkside and became a gladiator for 3 years before leaving Haense and becoming a monster hunter and Mercenary. Maximus stayed neutral during the war of two emperors and remained a hunter in that time. Thorin grew up in the mines and forges of the Under Realm of uruguan. he learned smithing from his father but had dreams of becoming a a warrior. when his family was killed by Zombies in a cave collapse where a horde of them was found, he had his chance. picking up an axe he fought the zombies alongside the guard and from that day on trained with them to be a warrior that he might one day protect his own family when he starts one.

When Maximus was 15 the king of Akkar (A hybrid society of Rome and Sparta. an old splinter from the Empire of Man in 1703 in the western mountains.) sent him on a mission against some barbarian tribes in the area and had Marcus executed for his treatment of the boy turned commander. Maximus shortly after married his long time love, Julia Ceasarius and in their wedding night she was killed by a Vampire. after this Maximus turned to his own darkside and became a gladiator for 3 years before leaving Akkar and becoming a vampire hunter and Mercenary.
