So many little things could be done to improve lotc if there was more knowledge sharing and devolution of power to other teams (community, moderation) so that they can work on issues as they find them, practical things on the server (not even coding and shit, just the ability to implement basic quality of life fixes/improvements, as well as stuff w tutorial island etc). This way tech can focus on FIXING SERVER PERFORMANCE I.E. CHUNKS and WORKING ON MECHANICS TO MAKE RP MORE ENJOYABLE AND SIMPLE, and other teams can **** about doing those floaty writing things with armourstands and tutorial island type things.

In short, fix up perms and take some weight and responsibility off tech so they can do other more important shit. Furthermore, get more tech guys? Easier said than done, but get em.

Mayhaps keep current system for smaller raids and then in war or otherwise for large raids with X amount of people use 1 hr warning system. Perhaps make raid tools only usable for large raids w 1 hr warning? And make these large raids pvp only.

How it worked on [redacted] was cool. You get a 1 hr warning in game and via a discord ping or smthn. Then pvp starts as soon as the 1 hr is over - all the raids i partook in 'started' before they started attacking the city, giving the opposing forces time to rally and sally out, maybe ambush the attackers on their way to the city. or it gives opposing forces time to defend the walls, as the attackers could get up on the walls with raid ladders or w/e

An Appeal for Reason and Canonist Unity

To His Royal Majesty Aleksander II, King of Hanseti-Ruska,

God bless and greetings, may this reach you well. I write this missive to you in light of the recent happenstances in regards to my fellow brother of the clergy, Father Stanislaw, now ensnared by the wicked claws of heresy, and concerns regarding Canonist unity. 

If we as a people, bound by our one true faith, are serious about dealing with the dark threat that lies before us, we require a united front, to face this threat as one. All folk who look to GOD and the Canonist Church for guidance must be welcome to join the great Canonist army that shall march to squash this menace and bring Father Stanislaw home.

I therefore urge you to amend your otherwise virtuous missive to include an invitation to attend for the League of Veletz, led now by Captain-General Germanicus van Aert, a man whom I don't believe you have any personal quarrel with. Extend this olive branch so that all Canonists may be united, to stand shoulder to shoulder together against this evil, this threat that should take precedence over all other squabbles. If anything, at least allow a delegation led by the Duke of Adria, Markus Sarkozic to attend. He and his people have shown themselves to be devout Canonists, and have always urged for peace between your respective realms.

I have recently learnt from first hand rather successful experience that to get little things done on lotc, like getting some things added to make things more clear, quality of life changes, getting outdated things updated etc is...

Not to sit grumbling but rather, make a google doc, write it down. Make a list of things that can realistically be changed by someone, be it blocks placed, posts written, wikis and other pages updated, hell, videos made. Present it to the best staff member u can find by accident after theyve responded to your ramblings in #ooc chat and shit magically happens.

They cannot do things unless they know wot they need to do, and unfortunately, like many of us, sometimes they just need a kick up the backside now and again,  little helpful friendly reminder and a helping hand to energize and motivate them to do it!
