The Baron of Halcourt JD SSE SCJ received the missive and hung it up on the poster-board of the City Estate d'Artois. Attached with the missive would be a note,

    "Brethren,

Let us come together in support of the esteemed Lady Anne and Lord John, of House Pruvia-Provins and House d'Arkent respectively. -O"

Louise Antoinette Halcourt scoffs at her father’s posting of the wedding.

“How lovely that there is a wedding for the d’Arkents… but I do recall my own father not posting my own wedding on the manor…” She’d look out the window to her horse, whom she named Jeanne, and quietly said:

“Ugh- I cannot complain.. he gave me a horse.” Louise tossed the invitation aside, now amassing with the mound of clutter on her writing desk in Draskovic Hall.
The mistress of Draskovic Hall continued to jot notes and calculate the financial expenses of her family.

  2. Louise Antoinette Halcourt reads over the paper, nodding her head as she read along. She’d place the missive aside. “Maude for mayor.. it’s brilliant! - I should like to reconstruct Providence if she wins.” She’d say with a wide smile, penning a letter immediately.

  3. Louise Antoinette Halcourt gleams in horror at the auction! “Mother!!” She’d cry before shoving a longsword from the fireplace mantle down the back of her corseted gown, sheathing it. Louise exited the manor, mounted her horse and rode to Sedan.

Jeanne de Motte scowls from the seven skies. “GOD knows if they were wonks…”

  4. Louise Antoinette Halcourt quickly fills out the form while dressing for her wedding. She does not know what she has signed, but she signed it, only glancing at the title.

"Field Day?" The woman asked, quickly tossing the missive aside on her desk.

Her maid would be lacing up her corseted gown. "TIGHTER!" Louise yelled at the maid. "I can't have my waist be looking as big as a cow's for the ceremony!"

    Spoiler

  6. Louise Antoinette Halcourt read over the third gossip column, which then accumulated upon her writing-desk with the others. Louise looked across her bedchamber to the mannequin holding up her wedding gown which bore a long, pink train.

    Her face was blank.

"It's all gossip... hah.. worried for me... worried.." She'd mutter after taking the stack of missives, tossing them into the fireplace and placing the cast iron door over the hearth.

After buying a new, red-silk mantua gown and changing into the frock, she'd fly down the stairs to the awaiting tea service in her parlor.

  7. Louise Antoinette Halcourt read over the recount of the ball. Upon reading the near end of the writings, the young maiden flew into a rage. Slamming the pamphlet down, she’d take a small, Rococo vase, and launched such across the parlor. The vase smashed into thousands of pieces.

  8. "To be fair... those stays sucked the life out of me in front of the Imperial Princess. However, I am glad they liked my gown!" Young Louise squealed as she'd put her heavy, cloth-of-silver panniered gown into a box and into the Rococo armoire across her bedroom. "Such a display it was- even though I did not win Ruby, at least someone fashionable did.."

Theodora thought about Margaret, the Renee-Antoinette Ripoff. "Poor Mary Anne... a Renee-Antoinette wannabe..." She murmured. "She never made it to the heights of Renee, though."

Margaret's face will forever be alabaster white.

  10. “Thank GOD I am dead.” Mused the late Margaret Annabelle Helvets from the Seven Skies. “My poor aunt and family reduced to peasant tasks!” The dead Helvetii cried before slamming the pamphlet down on her heavenly desk.

  11. Denied? I think that was a typo. The Vasoyevi settlement should have been accepted. Why? While I read over their application, their settlement provides not only a unique culture that differs from that of other nations, its builds are superb compared to what the current server provides. What the Vasoyevi can and will provide is a unique, enriching experience to players, and to especially new ones (from reading recently on how many new players quit Lord of the Craft). Not does the denial of the settlement application destroy the opportunity of retaining a possible new population of LOTC roleplayers, but it also limits a creative and new experience for players who wish to step out of their current bubble. This settlement meets criteria.

A sad, utter disgrace and disappointment that it was denied.

    +1 for Vasoyevi.

    -1 for the World Team.
