In role-playing games, metagaming is the use of player knowledge in a situation where character knowledge would be required instead. A character governed by a meta-player does not act following his own gaming experiences, nor according to his background.
Define Power-gaming in your own words
Power gaming is playing a game for the sole sake of increasing the power and influence of the character. This usually takes the form of increasing the character's combat abilities in any way possible. However, in some forms of games with much more rigid social mechanics, someone specializing in diplomacy skills might just as easily be a power gamer.

Character Biography
Fanon Valen Wood was born in 1715 to an unworthy and very large wood elf family, lived in gladewynn of The Kingdom of Gladewyn, where Fanon spends most of his life training in various elven arts and by perfecting his inner self in the perception of nature to understand him in the best possible way, he loves his family like no other in the world to the point of almost cutting his ear to save his younger brother from an ogre in which he was lost the nearby forest grove and was attacking his brother.
At the age of 50, still young for his race, he decided to undertake a journey to discover the world and change it through heroic actions with his younger brother first he decides to go to The Forest Realm of Irrinor where he knows a friend who could help him, but not everything went well for our Fanon because during the sea crossing to go to a new area of the continent he fell from the boat and found himself at the mercy of a strong storm and the waves that took him further and further until our Faron passed out and hit his head in something attributable in a barrel fallen from the boat .. the elf boy does not remember anything of his past, he can remember his name engraved in his jacket, from here Faron will wander the continent in order to regain his memories and become someone to remember.
