I've learned that LotC definitely has it's ups and downs, there are things I don't like, but overall I love the server! I think what's kept me around is all the communities I've become a part of in the last few months! I've been allowed as a newer player to try, as well as be a part of, a bunch of different amazing groups of people I can only hope to continue being a part of! As far as new characters and environments, I hope to explore different groups and nations across the server both irply as well as getting to know them more oocly!

My favorite conflict experiences are the ones that impact my characters the most. So out of the many my main character has faced, I'd have to say when she was attacked in Kaedrin on Arcas. My girl was just tryna have a meeting about her bakery and ended up being ganged up on by a bunch of hooligans smh 😒

nahh but in all seriousness, I think that was one of my favorites because it was honestly one of the first experiences of "conflict" I had faced on the server on that character. It taught me to allow conflict to happen and to realize how something like that could impact my character, and how to RP that persona as a result of it!

I wouldn't say there are any RP interactions that have changed how I act or how I live my life IRL, but there definitely have been interactions OOCLY that have. I've learned to be a lot more patient and to keep my cool with people, that I know for sure. lmao

One thing I would like to see change is people's mindsets towards change. I've seen a lot of negative attitudes towards things like vortex or the map change in general, bandits, conflicting rp even. Just have to deal with the fact that not some people aren't open to the idea of other people's RP interactions impacting and changing what you had preplanned for your character and their story. But as for OOC negative outlooks on change, I think people just need to be patient and look at the changes that they actually do enjoy and think benefit the server as a whole!

A young six year old is struck with an odd sense of grief as she hears the news. Natasha Orlov never truly knew her aunt, but she felt great sorrow and remorse over the loss- not only personally, but on behalf of her family as well.

She finds her cousin while wandering the streets of Providence. The girl runs up and pulls Cosimo into a warm hug. "Vy am so sorry Co Co… about your Mamma. Maybe she's just travelling somewhere right now! Your mamma will be back I bet by next Saint's Day!". Natasha was still young and didn't quite understand the concept of death, but she was truly genuine in her words and wished for nothing but the best for her family.

Among those papers was the flyer for the Josephite Convention! The loyal Josephite reads over it, when suddenly her daughter waddles up. The mother reads it to the young girl, taking the time to make sure she understood. "Would you like to help me write my speech Little One?" Annabelle asks Mayilun with a wide smile. She then began her work on her speech with May watching closely as she sat in her lap.

I'm definitely not the most qualified to provide my own input here, but I will anyways.

I've only been on the server since late June but that's long enough for me to have at least a general idea of the stereotypes, judgements, and opinions made against the Bandit RP community, and enough time for me to form my own. I personally mainly RP in Oren about ninety-five percent of the time, so I know there are lots of people within that group who are entirely against Villainy and Banditry RP. I, again this is just my personal opinion, do not agree with this in the slightest. Sure, there are lots of poor Villainy and Banditry RPers, but you could say the same about every other group big or small on LotC.

I think this all somewhat points to the debate on Conflict RP, so I will base my thoughts around that idea. I think Conflict RP is a crucial part to character development and story-telling as a whole. You can not have a good story without some sort of conflict, and I will forever stand by that. I know others may disagree that Conflict RP is crucial to their stories, and that's fine of course, but in the end we are all playing character in a constantly moving world of RP and there is nothing you can do to have others revolve around your character. There is no main character. There is no Lord of the craft. And with that, no character is truly good and no character is truly evil. This is not a story with a beginning, rising action, climax, falling action, and finally a resolution that is set in place from the beginning. The story of LotC as a whole is constantly moving, never revolving around a single person, and never truly having an end. 

People can judge and form opinions about the community behind Villainy and Banditry RP, but in the end this type of RP is just another niche for a specific group of people- just like Slice of Life RP, Mafia RP, "Hippie" RP, Government RP, Guild/DnD RP, and countless other groups. Villainy RP will forever be around in one way or another as long as there are players who want and are willing to be a part of that type of RP.

Lillyanna would make for an amazing addition to the moderation team- she is helpful, understanding, a leader, and knows when to be serious about a situation when it's needed. She takes the responsibilities she is delegated with seriously but still knows how to have fun and allow others to do so as well. She gets a major +1 from me!
