ÖHNE UND TÖCHTER VON REINMAR,

Since its construction, the City of Kretzen has enjoyed unwavering prosperity, even amidst wartime. Few problems have presented themselves, none nearly as problematic as the actions of the outlander Valites, from south upon the settled isle. We, the Reinmaren have done our best to stay entirely separated from the affairs of these folk, and have been met with internal subversion.

It is the tale of Stone that rings truest to us. He had come before Kretzen a weary traveler, and over the years settled in as a fair, blooded tribesman, named ‘Stein’. Within our wills, we had done our best to keep his mind clear of foreign, ill-fated heresies – though, unfortunately, was it not heresy to bring him down, but apostasy instead. He had rebuked the words of his brothers-in-arms, lying before the Chieftains, and GOD alike. It was the words of these perfidious folk to turn him from us, to turn him from our tribe.

It is with this, that – verified by the Grand Reinmaren Moot, we seek to expel merchants, craftsmen, visitors, and all manner of men that are under the flag of the valeman – from our holding of Kretzen. If a Valite / outlander from the lands of Nevaehlen seeks entry - a letter, signed by either Prince Leon, Prince Alfred, or His Holiness, Caius I will be required at the gates.

Anyone who fails to abide by the will of our sacred moot; will be subject entirely to the words of the Kanun, before the Lawspeaker in our Moothall. Let this bill, this declaration of the moot – be for the unified Reinmaren spirit, for those weakest among the tribe who fall to foreign subversion.

They will not walk our streets, they will not sell and barter goods within our walls – they will not pollute the minds of our weakest.

O THE PEOPLE OF RAVENSWOOD,

WE THIS DAY RENDER JUDGEMENT UNTO YOU, facetious folk of Ravenswood - for as the time-limit we, the Sovereigns of Reinmar, Celia’nor and Koyo-Kuni have bestowed upon you has since gone unanswered.

It has been nigh on a year since the Reinmaren moot voted unanimously in support of Prince Alfred & Leon’s Ravenswood excursion. And yet - despite the better judgement of all sovereigns involved, we still offered unto you a period to keep home, hearth, and kin, only then as a vassal of Prince Illthrak. You have yet chosen not to heed our words - and therefore we are left with little other choice. Once before - when we visited, we upheld our word to stay our swords whilst within your walls. Next time, we will not be so lenient.

AN EXCERPT FROM A REINMAREN TALE OF YORE,

Chieftain Witteric looked out amongst his people - for the moot had only now convened.. Bloodings came foremost - when men were sworn as tribesmen before the Chieftain. Next - were the topics of hot debate, for there came a challenge to the Chieftain’s power. A tribesman, blooded and sworn to his liege - stood before Witteric and accused him of a hefty crime.. It inevitably fell to the vote of the moot - of the unified Reinmaren that belonged to Witteric’s tribe.

 The vote was nearly unanimous against him. Those who rebuked such an answer and supported their Chieftain - were primarily the sworn warriors of Witteric. For his power had fallen with one simple vote - and the tool to reclaim it was laid out before him, hung by the belts of his warriors. But though he may have failed in his duties - a Reinmaren Chieftain does not simply deny the moot, for a denial of the moot - thereby rebukes your own people and falsifies the sanctity of the Landtag. Witteric unsheathed his blade - and the field, populated heavily with those kin of his, fell silent for a few moments. Then - the Chieftain hurled his blade to the grass, answering the words of his people.

For the moot always remains sacred - and the Reinmaren abide by it.

THE CONTEMPLATION OF PRINCE ILLTHRAK

Prior to his decisions and contact with Reinmar, his mind was filled with all the problems and weight of the realm; he knew in his heart something had to be relieved: The Northern Raiders of Alimere, The host of Harrowers, had to be combated and the abundance of Darkspawn within their walls. His mind became clear, and his thoughts became true; he knew that such could not continue uncontested and unhindered, So he wrote his letters and began his preparations to combat the servants of the Harrower and the Harrower himself; he started his plans to redeem Ravenswood for their sake.

With the men of Reinmar and Mali of Celia’nor, Illthrak marched upon Ravenswood; after some time, he eventually was able to meet with the Mali, who led those of Ravenswood; he expressed the needs of Celia’nor and Reinmar to secure the north against the Alimere in the form of ensuring the wood was no longer a fortification for their sworn enemy the Harrower. Instead, he was met with resistance and darkspawn dwelling in this meeting on the side of Ravenswood as well as their clear ties with darkspawn becoming apparent from recent attacks upon denizens of Celia’nor; at this point, he knew his negotiation and desire for peace would be rejected, for he had to make a choice; he had to act for his people.

 Thus it was decided by The Royarch, the Laurir and citizenry of Celia'nor has sworn an oath to bring safety to the rough and lawlessness of the North enabled by those within the land of Ravenswood. The Celia'diraar and her allies shall cleanse the north from their sins, and the people from both realms of Stars and Reinmaren blood will start the war against all our enemies, The Raiders of Alimere.
 

The war was imminent, and the Celia’diraar were ready. Illthrak spoke one phrase to them.

Do not Falter.

For we - the realms of Celia’nor, Reinmar, and Koyo-Kuni stand shoulder-to-shoulder with one another. And thereby we declare war unto you, the realm of Ravenswood. Let the Host of St. Johann, the Celiadiraar and Ashigaru of Koyo-Kuni stand as one, as we march upon your lands to purge it of overwhelming filth. For your Ibleesian-kin will be unable to defend you when your walls crumble before us.

SÖHNE UND TÖCHTER VON REINMAR,

With the founding months of the Reinmaren state put to rest - and the consecration of our Holy Temple concluded - we, the Princes of Sutica & Minitz respectively thereby see it fit to undergo coronation. So in-turn there may be no question in who rules our fair peoples. From the ancestry of St. Johann and Ven. Leon, which stretches thereafter as far back to Theoderic and Gelimar both, Leon and I seek to bring unity, prosperity, and glory to the Reinmaren.

THE FIRST DAY,

Coronation

No longer will the Aaunic and Haeseni Reinmaren be split, for the legacy of the Reinmaren is finally solved, and is left, to unadulterated prosperity in an independent realm. The Coronation will be undergone in the Temple of Waldenic Martyrs, by His Holiness, Caius I. Following Reinmaren tradition, I, Alfred, shall be coronated as a Prince in Reinmar - and Leon, as my counterpart, the other Prince in Reinmar. Leon's wife, Adalfriede of Hexenwald, will be crowned alongside her husband as the Princess of Minitz singularly. Us Princes, and the Princess alike, will enter the Temple - dressed lightly and humbly in only our linens, and will slowly, but surely swear our oaths before the Pontiff, and be dressed in our regal garbs, and cloaks, befitting their stature as rulers.

Thereafter, the gathering may be adjourned - from such a day onwards, let there be no contest, as to who rules our righteous peoples, and from what domain. For as Leon and I are one in rulership - all Reinmaren are one by blood.

THE SECOND DAY,

Enthronement & Royal Court
 

As the sun rises on the following day, servants and soldiers alike will assume their duties, in finishing preparations for the Royal Court, and also the enthronement, later that day. As the hours pass, both Leon and I will adorn our garbs, crowns, and regalia alike - for come the mid-day, all will gather before the dual thrones in the Palace, for first shall come the enthronement - where we Chieftains will swear a schwur upon our united blood, before the Pontiff himself to bear witness - after further oaths are exchanged. Finally, Royal Court may begin. Speaking on our behalf - is the Erstkanzler, Roland von Sturmweber. He shall begin in earnest, detailing the full intended itinerary of the day, before being left to undergo the proceedings, under the direct watch of us Dual-Sovereigns.
