What magic(s) will you be teaching?

             Malchediael's Radiant Templars

Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

Templarism is a Deity Magic that pertains to the Aengul of Courage, Malchediael. It is a magic tailored mainly to an adventurer character style - once in which you're simultaneously more suited towards combating darkspawn. Due to the limitations of many of the spells, it encourages one to rely upon their character's prowess and strength. Another defining aspect of Templarism is courage, which is the foundation for practically every power that a Templar is capable of. They seek to stand defiant and unwavering against anything, regardless of if the odds that they face are overwhelming. This trait of those imbued with the power of Malchediael is accounted for in the most immediate passive ability bestowed to a Templar upon their gaining of the blessing, one that provides them with bolstered courage, as well as shame should they relent from a challenge. Alongside this, Templarism isn’t compatible with dark/other deific CA’s and is only accessible to the four descendant races, Humans, Elves, Dwarves and Orcs. It also takes up 3 full Magic slots.

Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?

    -Blessed Banners

    -The Touch of Jophiael

    -Victor's Justice

These features are not traditional powers or spells, but rather are additional aspects of Templarism that contribute to the overall theme. Blessed Banners are banners which provide various benefits depending on the Templar's choice of Banner - these benefits can include: providing a boost of courage to all of those in the Templar's vicinity, or maybe providing an extra charge to each of the Templar's spells in a combat scenario - or finally illuminating the area around a Templar and their allies. Another feature is the Touch of Jophiael, where should a Templar be dealt critical wounds, they may turn to a frenzied state and lash out at everything around themselves, to them there is then no distinction between ally and foe, combatant & non-combatant. The only ones that a Templar is able to recognize in their rash frenzy, is a fellow Templar. Finally - there's Victor's Justice, which bestows upon a Master Templar the ability to challenge his fellow Templar who they may believe has been led astray into sin or cowardice. Its intended goal is to sever the connection between Malchediael & the Templar, either temporarily or entirely.

Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?

    [BLAZING AURA] [T1] [2 EMOTES]

The Templar had lost himself through the endless cave system - his torch had earlier been lost in a brief scuffle with those denizen monsters that lurked around every corner.. He'd finally come to realize - what might assist him in his survival.

[1/2] With the usage for light now ever-present in the Templar's dire situation. He'd slowly brought a hand to his upper breastplate, mind calming to focus upon the inner courage and strength that intensified within himself. Inside the Templar - he'd sought out defiance, piety, eternally unwavering in the face of insurmountable opposition.

[2/2] Now that his courage had been emboldened and concentrated within himself - he'd loft his hand skywards and usher out that internalized courage into visible form. It appeared in a gentle white flame upon his hand - which pulsed in tandem with his own heartbeat. It may now light his path - without bestowing any heat upon himself.

Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?

    [ENTHRALLING RECOUNT] [T2] [2 EMOTES]

The Master Templar and his Apprentice sat in the tavern - lounging amongst the folk of their village. It was rather odd, for such a lesson to take place in that location. Anyhow - his Master eventually stood and guided his Apprentice to the hearth.  "My student - this is a rather simple lesson on a far less combat-oriented spell. Enthralling Recount." He'd told - with his bare hands lifting to warm by the fire. "You must draw your hands up to align with the fire." The Templar instructed - settling his own hands back down by his side.

His student gently lifted his own hands to the fire - as simply instructed. He'd let them orbit as the fire crackled.

The Master nodded - pride swelling within himself as he verbally guided his Apprentice onwards. "Now - press forth your internal courage through the hands that orbit the lit fire. You should seek to imbue it."

The Apprentice did such - resolving his internal courage and strength and drawing it forth via his hands to imbue upon the fire, lighting it up in a gentle pale-ish white hue.

"You may now depict any story at your whim - however, it'll always be rather vague in viewing.. If you're attacked, or move those hands, it will disrupt the casting." The Master instructed, offering an appreciative, proud nod as his lesson concluded...

Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?

I'd first inform of them of what they'd done wrong - and how they'd be able to improve upon & fix it. If it continued unchanged, I'd give them a final warning before contacting the Story Team and see about having them removed from my TA entirely.

  2. Alfred recalled the moments of the previous Saint day - with Leonid squaring off against Rosalind. He sat in the underground library of Reinmar - tapping his fingers along a specific book.

    ".. Quite - inspiring."

He'd murmured, offering a brief glance to the poem - which had been resting atop a small table.

  3. Alfred Barclay sat in silence - collecting himself on one of the benches that dotted the second floor of his family's manor in Valdev. His chubby fingers scanned over the words in the letter sent to him - and many of his other cousins.

The boy was silent, even as the servant departed. He was frozen.
    "Ich will make du proud."

Was all the Baron of Sigradz willingly uttered as he isolated himself in his room.
