Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

A revenant is the dead spirit of a descendant or living being that is unable to pass onto the afterlife (due to many possible reasons including violent or esoteric deaths, or perhaps a strong desire to remain on the material plane such as 'unfinished business,') instead choosing or being forced to manifest themselves in a sort of superposition between the afterlife and the physical world. Revenants often are very confused by their death, and may not even realize their death has taken place. After realization, several mental illnesses are very common, such as depression.  All of the following creatures are made of a shadowy substance called ectoplasm, an often intangible substance which makes up the ghost's physical form. This allows them to fade in and out of physical form and sight. Ectoplasm is a very malleable substance, and it's appearance and nature is largely determined by the mind that controls it, ergo, the undead spirit. Once a revenant realizes they are dead, they will likely try to use their spectral nature to use sap emotion from others to give themselves temporary relief from the suffering of undeath. One of two things may happen at this point: they may either feel malevolence, or unacceptance toward their death and become a poltergeist; or they may find peace and become a specter. Poltergeists are extremely malevolent and instinctually quicker to anger, and have more power over manipulation of the physical world than than specters, the other playable subtype. For example, poltergeists are capable of inflicting horrific mental images on mortals, among other things. Poltergeists have heavily negative feelings such as malice and anger, and their minds are unpredictable and chaotic like a wild animal might be. The other subset a revenant can become is the specter. Specters are usually the most benevolent of the subtypes, with their most malicious acts shying closer to mischief than actual evil. Specters are capable of the possession of inanimate objects (as poltergeists are as well,) but cannot bend objects like, for example, a tree, because tress are not naturally capable of movement. They can still possess these objects, they just can't manipulate them. Specters usually aren't angry about their state and typically kind to mortals, but they also feel sorrow over their own death. However, unlike poltergeists, they don't let this sorrow descend them into madness. There is also a fourth, (unplayable, except for in ST/ET-run events) called the apparition. The apparition is formed from mass bloodsheds of 20 or more mortals, creating a coalition of their souls. Apparitions are extremely dangerous, but are bound to the site of their creation. Any of these undead phantoms may (if they so choose) bind themselves to an area. This area of their choice is called a "sanctuary". A phantom's sanctuary is in their control and they gain incredibly boosted powers within, but the ghost may not leave this sanctuary without severely weakening themselves whilst outside.

    The circumstances of his Death

During his life Nim'Bur fancied himself a powerful sorcerer that was knowledgeable in lost arts and arcane forces of yore, whilst in actuality he was a rather average mage. As his life went on, he grew more desperate for magical ability, and more convinced that the powers he did possess were somehow special or different to those possessed by others. He set aside his mortal belongings and devised a ritual to attempt to grant himself the ultimate boon which all man seeks, but none truly obtain: immortality. Through the casting of rather simple spells, he convinced himself he was weaving some grand arcane enchantment with his very soul- Oh; how foolish he was to try such a thing.. In a vortex of flame he evoked from the void at the crescendo of the ritual; his body was incinerated to ash in an instant.. And in one fell swoop; he had destroyed himself. Seemingly, at least. Through some cruel twist of fate, Nim'Bur had granted himself what he desired, but certainly not in the way he wished.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?

Nim'Bur has manifested back on this plane due to his strong will to grant himself immortality; combined with the rather odd happenstances of his perishing. Due to his already weakened mental state, it's unlikely he'll figure out he's dead for a while, he'll probably keep up the delusion he's somehow made himself immortal.

    Creator's RP Name:

             The Aspects; I'd reckon.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

The beginning of a sprite's life begins in the Eternal Forest, otherwise known as the Aspect's Realm. This far-flung druidic dimension Is filled with strange creatures ranging from faintly odd to the truly esoteric, and on full-moon nights, whens the veils recede to their thinnest, these creatures may accidentally slip through faerie-rings into the Mortal Realm. These creatures are the sprites; the fallen denizens of the fae realm. Sprites come in 3 different subtypes, nightfall, wayward, and twilight. The nightfall sprites tend toward chaotic, aggressive, or mischievous acts. Dayward lean more toward more peaceful or helpful tendencies, and twilight sprites devote themselves to physical training such as exercise, combat, or the pursuit of honor.  When a sprite is killed, they will regenerate similar to when they first entered the Mortal Realm, with all memories of the hostile action that killed them erased. (They follow the standard rules of CT revival OOC'ly, but not the rules of aging)

These creatures believe that they have been sent to the mortal realm intentionally by the aspects as some sort of punishment or exile, and most spend the majority of their nigh-endless lives attempting to achieve reconciliation back into their world by appeasing one of the three aspects. (Little do they know, this is to no avail, as there slipping into the mortal realm was entirely coincidental. Although, there is almost no way they would know this, and to RP knowing this information without a very strong basis is meta-gaming) So, when these creatures first make the hop from one world to the next, their old body dies in the process and is re-formed when they enter the mortal realm. They're newly formed body is forged of the various materials that are around them when they enter the mortal world, such as carcasses, insects, small animals, or plants. No matter what a sprite is made of, they are always at least vaguely humanoid and range from a height of 6-10 inches. Sprites only have four truely functional limbs (A pair of arms, and a pair of legs) but can have other limbs or protrusions for solely aesthetic purposes. Sprites typically possess a pair (or multiple pairs) of wings attached to their back, granting them a simple form of flight. This flight effect only goes up to 5 blocks into the air, and cannot be used to override IG barriers. However, sprites may exclude a small poison burst from their bodies after a small emote count, not killing or harming nearby individuals but merely fazing them, and thus perhaps giving the sprite a chance to escape an unpleasant situation. Once every IRL week, a sprite can create 1 measure of a special alchemical reagent of a specific type. This type is based off of the sprite's subtype, (twilight, dayward, or nightfall) and the specifics of the aforementioned reagent's alchemical signs are included in the sprite lore. Sprites can passively converse with flora & fauna in a 15 foot radius around them, allowing them to form bonds or friendships with creatures that could not otherwise be befriended normally. This ability is not like druidic communion in the fact a sprite cannot tell flora or fauna to do anything is a way any more compelling than a regular descendant, they can merely converse with them. It is also of note that as beings formed of natural energies, they are very susceptible to damage via voidal magic; and the mere presence of a voidal magi might make them uneasy.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?

Jt'Iggo Ynn'ormeh'i Urah'letee, (Or, 'Jt'Iggo' as they occasionally are called for sake of convenience,) are a nightfall sprite. They lean toward more trickery than sheerly malicious acts, but it's not beyond them to do such things if they are angered. They are certainly a peculiar looking thing: measuring in at 10'' tall, they possess an additional set of (purely aesthetic) arms as well as a pair of dragonfly-like wings. Their body and limbs are covered in a fleshy, dull-blue carapace and they have a disproportionally large head with a singular cyclopian eye and a diminutive mouth; often set in a mischievous grin. Jt'Iggo prefers flying to walking, and spends much of their time zipping about in search of someone to mess with. Their ability to speak verbally is iffy at best; but they prefer mental communication via their minor communion ability anyway. Unlike most sprites; Jt'Iggo doesn't think they've been sent to the Mortal Realm as a punishment, they think they're here to be the punisher of certain ignorant descendants who have strayed from natural, peaceful ways.. Evidently, their ego is quite inflated and they massively overestimate their capabilities to the point of them occasionally seeming oblivious to their diminutive and un-formidable stature.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Ologs are gargantuan hulking beings with disputed origins- While some claim them to have come from descendant crossbreeding with trolls, others yet believe them to have been created by years of selective breeding and mutation. One thing is for certain however, Ologs are indeed descended from orcs. Ologs possess the same curse of bloodlust that all orcs do, if not to an even greater extent than other orcish subtypes: uruks and goblins. They are prone to mutation and physical issues, and the height of an Olog typically ranges from around 8 to 10 feet in height- any taller is simply unheard of, and any shorter would be related to excessive slouching. They are incredibly gluttonous and beefy creatures, with more lean Ologs weighting in at as low as  ~400 pounds, whilst the bulkiest can reach up to ~920 pounds. (At such an excessive weight however, the Olog would undoubtably begin to experience many detriments to their health.) An average olog typically weighs somewhere in-between those two values.

One would have to be a fool to try and go one-on-one with an olog. Whilst the leanest of Ologs could be fair for an Uruk to fight, the greatest of these creatures could handle 2 full-grown Uruks; and these beings can lift up to 400 pounds with ease. As well, their skin is tougher than average descendants, being somewhat closer to a very thin hide. However, this certainly doesn't make them immune to sword slashes, but they wouldn't be as effective at combatting Ologs as something like a war-hammer would be. Such bulk, however, is not without its detriments. Ologs are not swift by any definition of the word, and their sheer size and weight makes them severely lacking in dexterity and maneuverability.

It is also of note that Ologs are quite stupid, and could not realistically uphold any sort of job or place in society that'd require much cognitive function. They are still able to feel and experience any emotion another descendant could, but they are not able to communicate these emotions to others well, and they may very well hurt someone whilst trying to do such. Also, while Ologs are capable of experiencing  complex emotions, they are more susceptible to animalistic sensations of hunger and malice. The most civilized of Ologs would still need to be kept in line by regular feeding and the guidance of others, but the wildest of the Ologs are more-so beasts than they are men.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?

Miðgarsormr possesses a bulky physique with a mottled and dull brownish-green skin coloration. His eyes are near-constantly dilated and mildly bloodshot. He weights in at a bit more than your average olog, and stands just below ~10 feet when fully outstretched- but he prefers to shamble along in a wobbling gait on all fours due to his sprawling, disproportionate arms rather like an ape. Miðgarsormr possesses a mild case of hypertrichosis, (excessive hair syndrome) that gives him irregular patches of scrawny, bristly brown hair on various parts of his body. His nose is bulbous and pronounced, and his mouth typically gaping. As for his horns, they are yet to grow in much- but when they do; they'll likely appear gnarled and winding. As for tusks, he has some rather sharp yet short ones akin to a boar's. Miðgarsormr is incredibly uncivilized even by orc standards, and is usually a purely animalistic being. Usually, Miðgarsormr enacts out his bloodlust as soon as it comes over him; and usually consumes the remains afterward. Only when he has fed very recently, and his gluttonous desires quelled, might you be able to coerce but a few grumbled words from him. Truly, a beast among men.
