  1. Name of the Artifact:

             The Eternal Emblem

Is this a combat related Artifact? If marked as “no”, it will not be usable in combat situations:

Well it's not inherently combat related, but it can be used in combat.

MC Name of the person(s) currently in possession of the Artifact:

             TheCouncilOf_8

RP Name of the person(s) currently in possession of the Artifact:

Nim'Bur Aedove (Well, it's in his home in a hidden location. An explanation is included below.)

MC Name of the creator(s) of the Artifact (N/A if not applicable, e.g. for event items):

             TheCouncilOf_8

MC Item description (the exact description that will be used for the MC item if this MArt is accepted):

Before you rests a peculiar magegold medallion of around 3 inches in diameter, glistening alluringly when light was shone upon it. Seemingly esoteric and nonsensical redstone inlays can be seen winding around the entire artifact as they pulse with mana toward the object's center, giving the medallion a dull crimson glow of its own. Attached to the medallion is a thin metallic chain so one can wear the object, and set into the center you see a large refined titan's eye gemstone with a glimmering rune imbibed atop it. The inside of the crystal is flows with many colors, and in more variation than usual for titan's eyes. As you take in all these details, you find yourself in a strange superposition of being both wary of and desiring to wear the beautiful medallion.. [[OOC: If you possess this object see the LotC forums post on the effects and usage of this object so you can RP its effects properly.]]

[[Not to be included in description]]

Note: The Eternal Emblem will be IRp'lly represented by a signed MC 'magma cream' item with the following description edited on.

    Effect(s) of the Artifact:

[[Explanations in Green]] The Eternal Emblem is the final creation of the late Nim'Bur Aedove. The aforementioned kharajyr mage was being sought out by his enemies, and was running out of places to hide. On top of that, his lifespan certainly wasn't getting any longer; and the man feared nothing more than the uncertainty of unending death. And so, he took a risk: he attempted to bind his consciousness to the Eternal Emblem. To do this, he had to destroy his mortal body in a truly absolute manner and ensnare the flow of his soul so that it could be torn asunder from the soulstream. Thus, he made a twisted, botched form of what a madman might call immortality.. but what a fool they'd be.

[[Effects in Cyan]] The medallion's effect is as follows: when a nonmagical, organic humanoid (descendants, musin, kharajyr, hour-zi, or wonks), gazes upon the object they will feel a tad wary of it, and in particular; of wearing it. However if they do wear it for an extended period of time, the mind of Nim'Bur Aedove will begin to seep in and overtake theirs, which doesn't have some form of mental protection (Perhaps slotted seer-magic, conduitism, or another mental magic that makes one less susceptible to mental attacks) until Nim'Bur has fully possessed the body as the host's mind is subverted into Nim'Bur's subconscious; denied a proper afterlife.

Basically, after bearing the medallion for too long, the subject will lose control of their body. What that translates to OOC'lly is after the effects are fully onset and Nim'Bur has taken over the mind, they will stop playing the character and I will begin doing so as if Nim'Bur had possessed said body.

However the effects do not set in instantly if the subject resists the artifact's power, in fact this process takes a while. Therefor the subject has a long while to take off the Eternal Emblem and save themselves from this twisted fate. A timetable of how long until the subject's mind is fully subdued- and what happens before that- is written below.

First Contact (Instant)When the Eternal Emblem is first put on, the subject that bears it will feel slightly wary, but it a particularly dense individual might not feel anything yet at this stage.

A Month (1 OOC Day)- After 24 OOC hours, the individual wearing the artifact will have become much more uneasy. They may find themselves experiencing feelings of paranoia as Nim'Bur's mind attempts to subdue theirs; and may have restless dreams which leave them feeling uncomfortable. However, they might not attribute these symptoms to the medallion.

2 Months (2 OOC days)- In this stage the subject will have certainly figured out that the Eternal Emblem is what is causing them to experience these negative effects. They will be strongly compelled to remove the object and leave its presence. In this stage they will begin to experience more severe symptoms as their mind fights against Nim'burs. They may pass out, experience minor auditory or visual hallucinations, or experience insomnia.

3 Months (3 OOC Days)- This is the final stage. The affected subject will experience of the symptoms of the previous phases but in very increased severity. Their mind will be plagued with twisted images, and their sleep could hardly be called an effective method of rest. This is their last chance to remove the Eternal Emblem, and at this point all but the most insane or restrained of people will have likely removed the thing and gotten as far away from it as possible. At the end of this phase, the bearer's mind is fully subjected by Nim'Bur's nearly irreversibly.

-If at any point in this process the individual willingly gives in to the powers of the object, they may skip to the final phase and lose control of their body at once. I'm not sure why you'd do that, but perhaps they wanted to end it all; or maybe they willing knew about the Emblem's effects and wished to give themself up as a vessel to Nim'Bur.

Note: Nim'Bur has entrusted the location of the Eternal Emblem to Ievis Aedove to either find a vessel or (in a last-case scenario) become one. This is because if Nim'Bur hadn't had someone do said task the Eternal Emblem would likely remain sitting there forever unfound in Nim'Bur's home. (In the event this is accepted, I'll just OOC'lly deliver it to him.)

    Red Lines of the Artifact:

    [[Redlines]]

-The Eternal Emblem may be forcibly put on an individual, but only with OOC consent. IRP willingness is not necessary.

-If the bearer is forced to wear the Eternal Emblem but does not consent OOC'lly, it can be RP'd out that the individual's mind was simply strong enough to resist the enthrallment. (In this case; they'd just stay in the final stage of the process until they remove the Eternal Emblem.)  This is to make sure if a vessel is made it is not being done too OOC'lly forcefully, as that's just not fun or fair for anybody.

-The medallion is made from rather brittle materials, and isn't magically strengthened in any way. Therefor it is very possible for one to destroy the Eternal Emblem. A small scratch or natural aging of the metal won't break it; although even a crack though one of the redstone inlays leading to the overcharged mana-lock would result in the loss of function. The chain attached to it for ease of wearing is not necessary for function; and could in theory be removed or broken without causing the Eternal Emblem to stop working.

-In the event the Eternal Emblem is destroyed, Nim'Bur's mind will remain in whatever husk it is currently in. However that vessel then cannot be Monk Revived anymore. The Emblem cannot be repaired by any means short of another MArt or ST intervention.

-The Eternal Emblem cannot be used on animals, corpses, undead, plants, any inherently magical creatures, (such as sprites, atronachs, or voidal horrors, etc.) constructs, or (of course) inanimate objects.

-If the Eternal Emblem is destroyed whilst Nim'Bur is not currently possessing a husk, he will experience an irreversible PK.

-If a possessed subject dies and experiences Monk Revival, they will still have the Eternal Emblem on them as is per usual with items when one is Monk Revived. However if the artifact is looted or removed from the body of the individual before they experience revival; (for example if they were killed and had their items taken) then they will obviously not have it anymore.

-If the Emblem is removed from the possession of an active vessel of Nim'Bur (or their corpse) either willing or unwillingly, said subject will remain possessed. If the Emblem is placed upon another subject and they are then possessed, the original husk will be removed from Nim'Burs control. I will message the previous player of the subject, asking them if they'd prefer to play their persona themselves again (RPing as if they had been freed from the possession) or if they'd prefer for said husk to merely die of the mental stress. Of course, this means there can only ever be one individual that is Nim'Bur's vessel at a time.

-If Nim'Bur possesses an individual, he will not 'gain their memories.' The Eternal Emblem doesn't allow me to metagame things the previous husk knew in life. However if the previous player of an enthralled individual so wishes, they can flavorfully have Nim'Bur get flashes of their memories. These cannot be used to metagame anything though; no specific people or places can be shown in these flashes in any sort of detail. In Nim'Bur's sleep, he will likely be tormented with dreams of his vessel's trying to pry themselves out from his enthrallment, but these are more the work of his over-paranoid mind than anything magic.

-My other personas cannot become vessels, because that's obviously easily abusable on my part. Not that I would abuse such, but I wanted to include the redline for sake of honorability.

-If a possessed husk dies of old age or is PK'd; Nim'Bur's consciousness will return to the medallion until it is either placed on another individual or destroyed.

-Whilst Nim'Bur is within the Eternal Emblem and not possessing a vessel he is completely incapacitated, incapable or locomotion or the senses, and unaware of the passing of time.

-Due his soul being so forcefully wretched asunder from the soulstream and his original normal form, Nim'Bur is incapable of casting magic (excluding simple mana-based types such as housemancy and bardmancy) he had in his normal life of any sort even if he has possessed a husk, due to the complex soul-body-mind connection he possesses. So nothing deific, dark, or voidal really.

-There is nothing stopping someone from hiding or concealing the Eternal Emblem. (Tossing it in the ocean; burying it in a cave, hiding it in a chest; etc.) However as with normal items, they can't be concealed by methods that would require region perms. (For example digging a hole, putting the Emblem in a chest at the bottom, and MC'lly filling said hole up.) It may be kept behind locked doors, chests, or in generally hard-to-reach (but still accessible) areas.

-If an individual had a magic and Nim'Bur possesses said individual he does not gain their magical capabilities. However he will still feel the physical downsides their magics may have that are attributed to the vessel's body. For example, voidal weakness would still be felt by Nim'bur, (as it's a physical downside) but he wouldn't get the maddening effects a voidstalker has. (A mental downside)

-Nim'Bur cannot willing withdraw himself from a vessel back into the Eternal Emblem. He's stuck in his current vessel until he either PK's said body or is sent to another.

-If the medallion is placed on someone and they don't (or can't) remove it, and they process through all the stages enthrallment, there is nothing Nim'Bur can do to avoid possessing said person. (As described in a previous redline, he is not conscious in any shape or form if he is not in a possessed husk.)

-The soulstream simply is the natural order of things, and by denying himself that Nim'Bur has inevitably doomed his sanity. He'll develop a variety of negative mental conditions such as great paranoia and schizophrenia that will grow more and more severe every time he passes to a new vessel; as he is denying the natural order of things every time.

-If an enthralled individual is released from the power of the Eternal Emblem and their OOC player chooses to play them again, they won't remember anything from the time the possession fully set in up until they were freed. (They will remember the whole 3 OOC day process of being possessed, but not what conspired during it said possession.) At most, it'll seem like a hazy, unrecallable bad dream.

-If this MArt is denied, I will PK Nim'Bur immediately as he had to kill himself to attempt to create this, which is obviously suicide. (Thus requiring a PK.)

-Nim'Bur is unable to learn magic or become a transformative CA. If a transformative CA character (such as an adrazi) was to to bear the Eternal Emblem and go through all the stages of enthrallment to the point of possession, it would not work. They would merely remain in the final state of mental turmoil without ever progressing to becoming a vessel, until they removed the Eternal Emblem.

-The Eternal Emblem must be worn directly on the person to start the process of possession. For example, merely holding it by the chain won't begin said process, but if you were to bind it to your hand directly or wear it upon your neck, that would begin the process. Solid armor or thick gloves could be worn to block the effects, but the thin cloth of most clothing won't. Then again, it's unlikely you'd wear it long once you experienced the imminent negative symptoms.

-The medallion is very susceptible to being magically disrupted. For example, if the Eternal Emblem was continually exposed to Thanium for 2 or more emotes, it would permanently lose function and Nim'Bur would be PK'd. If it is exposed to another disruptor of mana such as voidal abjuration, the same result would happen.

-The Eternal Emblem is not an excuse for me to know things about my death if I experience Monk Revival on a vessel. Nim'Bur will still not recall the circumstances of his vessel's deaths after/if they experience Monk Revival; as is per usual with normal personas.

-A player must be made OOC'lly aware of the imminent effects when they put the medallion on. (For example, I couldn't just give the medallion to someone, and then tell them three days later that they are now a vessel) Of course, their persona doesn't have to know Irp.

Explanation of the effect(s) (i.e. how it does what it does - slight bending of magic lore is allowed):

[[Explanation]] The way the Eternal Emblem works is strikingly simple in theory, and yet complex in IRp execution. Nim'Bur's consciousness is bound to the medallion in a manner similar to the way a specter or poltergeist may possess an object; but in a more irreversible manner. (The process used the soul & his mana together, rather like faux ectoplasm.) As seen in the screenshots of the attempted creation of this MArt, Nim'Bur Aedove began by directing his mana into the medallion more effectively than one might do unaided via an arcane focus; at the same time using a mana-lock similar to the ones in housemantic living dolls so that his mana would stay within the Eternal Emblem and not merely dissipate. The redstone inlays weaving about the mana-lock rune are present to assist in directing the mana toward it, as is the fact the whole object is made from magegold which is an excellent conductor of such.

As Nim'Bur pushed more and more mana into the medallion, this paved a sort of metaphysical path from him to the object. Using what mana he wasn't pushing into the object, he then began to conjure a voidal flame before him. Intensifying the flame to the point of blue-flame level heat; he'd continue weaving raw mana into the medallion. As he feels his mana beginning to grow low, he intensifies the blue flame to white-level heat. Fire evocation lore states that if one is to attempt such, their body will be destroyed by a combination of mana-overflow and the intense heat of the voidal flame. This destroys Nim'Bur's body intrinsically, leaving no sort of physical remains. However; (or at least in theory) due to the intense 'mana-path' of sorts through the arcane focus and into the medallion's mana-lock paired with the simultaneous destruction of his body; Nim'Bur's soul is torn asunder from the flow toward the soulstream and bound to the mana-lock.

If all the above goes as hoped; Nim'Bur's soul is now effectively cycling through the object in a manner that he can't die of old age due to a lack of an aging, mortal body. Of course, such a 'life' as an unconscious loop of mana and soul energy stuck in an object could hardly be called living. This is where the refined titan's eye gemstone comes into play. Titan's eye gemstones (once refined and awakened with mana) can be used to faintly project an emotion onto an individual possessing one such as sadness, curiosity, vanity, comfort, etc. However that's usually the extent of the emotional projection, and complex ideas can't really be conveyed for long without fracturing the gem. But the titan's eye being utilized in the Eternal Emblem wasn't activated using a mere little bit of mana, it was activated with all the mana Nim'Bur Aedove had in him, as well as all the energy of his soul. This gives the titan's eye a far, far greater capacity to project emotions and complex concepts- in this case, the entire bound consciousness of Nim'Bur.

This is why in theory; the object would instill Nim'Bur's mind onto someone who wields the Eternal Emblem long enough. The negative effects that come from the process of becoming a vessel are due to the welder's mind attempting to resist the process.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

The beginning of a sprite's life begins in the Eternal Forest, otherwise known as the Aspect's Realm. This world Is filled with strange creatures ranging from faintly odd to the truly esoteric, and on full-moon nights, these creatures may accidentally slip through into the Mortal Realm. These creatures are the sprites, fallen denizens of the fae realm. Sprites come in 3 different subtypes, nightfall, wayward, and twilight. The nightfall sprites tend toward chaotic and aggressive acts. Dayward lean more toward more peaceful or helpful tendencies, and twilight sprites devote themselves to physical training such as exercise or combat, and mild mischief.  When a sprite is killed, they will regenerate similar to when they first did, with all memories of the hostile action that killed them erased. (They follow the standard rules of CT revival, but not the rules of aging)

These creatures believe that they have been sent to the mortal realm intentionally by the aspects as some sort of punishment or exile, and spend the majority of their new lives attempting to achieve reconciliation back into their world by appeasing one of the three aspects. (Little do they know, this is to no avail, as there slipping into the mortal realm was entirely coincidental. Although, there is almost no way they would know this, and to RP knowing this information without a very strong basis is meta-gaming) So, when these creatures make the hop from one world to the next, their old body dies in the process and is re-formed when they enter the mortal realm. They're newly formed body is forged of the various materials that are around them when they enter the mortal world, such as carcasses, insects, or plants. No matter what a sprite is made of, they are always at least vaguely humanoid and range from a height of 6-10 inches in height. Sprites typically possess a pair (or two) of wings attached to their back, granting them a simple form of flight. This flight effect only goes up to 5 blocks into the air, and cannot be used to override IG barriers. However, sprites may exclude a small poison burst from their bodies after a small emote count, not killing or harming nearby individuals, but merely fazing them and giving the sprite a chance to escape. Once every IRL week, a sprite can create 1 alchemical measure of a specific type. This type is based off of the sprite's type, (twilight, dayward, or nightfall) and the specifics of its alchemical signs are included in the sprite lore. Sprites can passively converse with flora & fauna in a 15 foot radius around them, allowing them to form bonds or friendships with creatures that could not otherwise be befriended. This ability is not like druidic communion in the fact a sprite cannot tell the conversing flora or fauna to do anything, merely converse with them.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?

As a sprite, Uamo lacks gender. Likely, they'll associate with whatever they're called first, or merely won't care about whatever anybody calls them. They are clothed in a blue hooded shawl-like implement that obscures all of their face except for their singular cyclopian eye, and their skin tone is a sort of dark purplish-indigo. They have a bulky, squat form just shorter than a foot tall, and usually hide their wings under their clothes as they favor walking to flying. They wish to gain the aspect's attention (and thus return to the fae realm) through amassing large amounts of goods via either trade, bartering, or even stealing if times are particularly tough. Often, the'll set up small shops or temporary homes inside attics and crawlspaces of large buildings. Their ability to speak common is mediocre at best, but they can write in common slightly better than they speak it.

    EPIPHYTES

    =========

Very rarely, (once every irp blue moon, to be exact) A fae seed/spore may slip into the mortal realm from the realm of the fae via a fae-ring. This seed/spore, (if given the proper environment) eventually grow into an adult verity of the plant in question. These fae plants have little to no difference to the normal variety, save for the fact that is a descendant sleeps near this plant, they will quickly be cocooned in the fibrous matter of the plants roots/boughs/tendrils/etc. As they sleep inside, the descendants body is slowly transferred, as the fae plant turns all of the materials in their body into that of the plant. The descendant will eventually awaken, and be released from their cocoon as a brand new epiphyte.

    Subtypes and Physical Description

    ==================

There are three subtypes of Epiphyte, those being the dryads, the bryophytes, and the saporophytes. Each of these subtypes relates to a specific subtype of plant. The dryads are epiphytes of tree species, the bryophytes are epiphytes of bushes, plants, and shrubs, and the saporophytes are epiphytes of fungus and mushrooms.  However, the body of the epiphyte is always as strong as that of descendant flesh, even if they are the epiphyte of, for example; a tree. They are still made of wood, it just has less structural integrity lest the epiphyte not be able to move. The body of the epiphyte loses all medicinal and poisonous properties that may be associated with their plant.

    Additional Info

    =======

The epiphytes have a few interesting quirks associated with thier planetoid lifestyles and bodys- for example, once every 25-100 years, the epiphyte's body will grow weak, and sluggish, then they will wither away. However, a smaller version of the epiphyte will emerge, with the memories and the soul of the one before it. (this cycle can only go on for as long as the epiphyte would normally live, for example, a human-turned-epiphyte would only be able to do the revival cycle for about 100 years or less. However, an elf-turned-epiphyte could go through the cycle over and over again for up to several hundreds of years.) Each epiphyte has the ability to produce a single master-seed/spore/pod, that they will wish to plant, cultivate, and protect. The plant and the epiphyte that created it are inexplicably linked, with the epiphyte being to converse with their plant while in their range of vision, and if their plant is burned or harmed, the epiphyte will feel it; no matter the distance.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?

Phoralius is a saporophyte of the cordyceps fungus. His body still carries the tallish, lean forms of an elf; while being mostly composed of long, sinewy orange tendrils with whitish tips all weaving together. However,   Phoralius has several out-growths of the long, tendrils fungus growing up and out from various parts of his body, most frequently on his back and head. He has a cheery yet irrational and almost madman-like disposition, as he's not exactly fully sane. Combining that with the fact he'd been transferred into a epiphyte/saporphyte at such a young age, he's practically already forgotten he was ever a regular descendant.

Cywldyn, as all sprites technically do, lacks gender. Likely, they'll associate with whatever they're called first. They are clothed in a minuscule patchwork of cloth with multiple pockets filled with baubles and bits of random objects they've found. Their appearance is a bit akin to a diminutive raccoon, with obvious changes to their anatomy that gives them a bipedal stance. They have a small pair of feathered, owl-like wings upon their back that they are quite fond to use. They've been known to sneak their way into someone's home via these wings & their unassuming appearance, only to steal various trinkets before fleeing. However when they are cornered, they can be quite reckless.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

The Kharajyr were created by the angeuldaemon Metztil after much trial and error when she magically fused ocelots with newborn descendant children she had stolen. She did this for the purpose of creating a master race for herself, but with the killing of Metzil Kharajyr have become more and more independent from the ideology of her. However, there are some kha that still worship the angeuldaemon, believing her to still be alive. They are a relatively uncommon race with a roughly humanoid appearance and certain feline attributes. For example, subtle changes such as those in bone structure; or more obvious differences to usual descendants such as their fur coats or their facial shape. Kharajyr may be of one of  four subsets, or a hybrid of 2 or more of those subsets. They are as follows: The Kha'cheetrah, the Kha'pantera, the Kha'tigrasi, or the Kha'Leoparda. Kha'cheetrah tend to be leaner, more nimble, and typically swifter than the other subtypes. They typically possess golden or tawny colored fur. Kha'pantera tend to have fur that is a slick black in appearance, and they tend to take roles in society where they can benefit from the sort of natural camouflage. For example, hunters, or perhaps some sort of assassin or scout. Kha'tigrasi tend to be the strongest of the Kharajyr subsets, and they are the only subset of Kharajyr that are not hindered by swimming. Kha'leoparda are a sort of jack-of-all-trades, not really beings masters of any particular skill; but being at least decent at what the other kha subsets can do. These four subsets are genetic. For example, two kha'cheetrah bearing a child will never create a kha'tigrasi. However, kharajyr can crossbreed with other Kharajyr, leading to hybrid individuals. This is not the same for Kharajyr and descendants, and there is no such thing as a 'half-kharajyr.' Kha possess retractable claws, and all Kharajyr subsets have a tail. If their tail is cut off, a Kha will have a very hard time maintaining their balance.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?

Looseclaw is a young kha'tigrasi/pantera crossbreed. Due to his genetic mix, he possesses the dark mottled grey & black coloration of a kha’pantera with the patterned fur design typical in kha’tigrasi. Due to being so young, it's quite hard to tell much of his personality yet. However, (as with most young children) he's generally curious about the world, but is easily frightened. He was given the name ‘Looseclaw’ as he was adopted and is currently being raised by an elf with little knowledge of actual kharajyr culture or usual Kharajyr names.

Tau is nine inches tall,  and of a lanky, thin physique. His appearance is roughly on-par with that of a diminutive, enfeebled elderly man, and he clothes himself in scraps and shards of cloth roughly hewn together with vine fibers. He has (proportionally) larger ears than an elf, and a particularly long nose. He possesses a pair of semi-translucent wings that he, (interestingly enough,) often keeps hidden under his clothes as he prefers walking. He wears a sundew bloom atop his head like a wide-brimmed hat, and carries around a walking stick. (Not that he needs one, as sprites don't age, he just particularly likes it.) Tau's of the Dayward bloodline of sprites, and due to his peaceful nature he prefers to avoid conflict or confrontation at all costs. He enjoys being immersed in the greener places of the world as well as conversing with insects, and he tries to reclaim is place in the fae realm by guiding descendants to more natural ways of life.

MC Item description (the exact description that will be used for the MC item if this MArt is accepted):

A semi-circular medallion formed of copper of about five inches of diameter. A focus gem is imbedded in its center, and sigils of mana are engraved around the focus crystal in colors of reddish-gold. A thin chain necklace is attached to the medallion, making it easily wearable. If one was to hold the medallion in their palm and will it to activate, (A process taking two emotes) they could call forth the Magus's Wyvern from the skies above. The Magus's Wyvern is a construct formed of copper in the shape and size of a stallion-sized dragon, and has a large focus crystal stuck into its forehead. A line of sigils runs down its spine from the gem to its tail-tip. If its focus crystal or sigil line was broken, the wyvern would be put out of commission until later repaired by the one who made it. [[OOC: See the LotC forums for further clarification on the usage and redlines of this object.]]

    Effect(s) of the Artifact:

The Magus's Wyvern may be summoned forth to simply walk beside it's owner via the medallion, or to utilize one of its two usages; both of which have their effects and regulations written as follows:

    ((OOC))

On a side-node, the bound medallion will be mechanically represented by an edited & signed golden block.
    =Usage One: Lesser Transportation

The wielder of the Magus's Wyvern may summon forth the wyvern construct over the course of two emotes; (one to grasp the medallion, and one to will the wyvern to come down from the skies) and mount it to ride as one might a horse, in relatively mundane fashion aside from the obvious aesthetic changes. However, even the simple mechanical nature of the wyvern construct grants a minor boon; while ridden the wyvern construct may move two blocks per emote faster or jump one block further horizontally than a regular horse. (Vertical jump is unchanged from a regular average horse.) The Wyvern may not fly whilst one is using 'Lesser Transportation.' Aside from that, this is mostly a flavor ability. Once the owner of the medallion is finished with their ride, they may command the wyvern to take to the upper skies and leave.

    ((OOC:))

The Wyvern construct may be represented by a tamed-horse summoned from a horse-whistle combined with player emotes, or solely in the player's emotes. Redlines of this ability may be seen below.

    =Usage Two: Greater Transportation

By tacking on a additional emote to the summon process of the wyvern, (thereby making the full emote count 4; one to clasp the medallion, one to will down the wyvern, and one to have the wyvern grasp it's owner, and one for the wyvern construct to carry off it's owner) the owner of the Magus's Wyvern may ride/be carried via the wyvern construct to a place of their choosing which they have visited before. This can only be done when one has a clear, unobstructed view of the skies.

    ((OOC:))

This may be used as a means of using a soulstone IRP. All regular redlines of soulstones apply to this, aside from the ones prohibiting their use in all in RP. See clarifications on redlines below.

    Red Lines of the Artifact:

    =Redlines of 'Lesser Transportation'

-The wyvern may not be summoned nor used during combat. If one is riding the wyvern when combat begins, they must immediately emote dismounting and the wyvern flying away. (This process takes two emotes, one too dismount, and one to have the wyvern soar away.) If one is in an obstructed area when combat begins, they may emote the wyvern merely stepping aside.

-The wyvern construct cannot be utilized to evade combat

-The wyvern construct may not injure anyone whilst leaving nor coming from the skies; for example, you couldn't call down the wyvern and have it crush someone/something upon landing.

-The wyvern construct must be emoted as it is as soon as someone sees it. You can't ride into a city on a tamed horse only to suddenly emote that it was the wyvern all along.

-Only one person may ride the wyvern at any given time. The size of the passengers is irrelevant; you may still only have one.

-The wyvern can only be called forth or sent off if one has a clear, unobstructed view of the sky. However, one may ride the wyvern into obscured areas, assuming a horse can fit in said areas.

-If the wyvern's focus crystal or sigil line is broken or damaged any more than a scratch, the entire construct will cease function until it has it's focus crystal repaired or replaced.

    =Redlines of 'Greater Transportation'

-The wyvern may not be summoned nor used during combat. If one is riding the wyvern when combat begins, they must immediately emote dismounting and the wyvern flying away. (This process takes two emotes, one too dismount, and one to have the wyvern soar away.) If one is in an obstructed area when combat begins, they may emote the wyvern merely stepping off to the side.

-The wyvern construct cannot be used to evade combat

-The wyvern construct may not injure anyone whilst leaving nor coming from the skies; for example, you couldn't call down the wyvern and have it crush someone/something upon landing.

-Only one person may ride the wyvern at a time, you may not have passengers.

Explanation of the effect(s) (i.e. how it does what it does - slight bending of magic lore is allowed):

The Magus's Wyvern is created using a combination of T5 housemancy, focus gem, and focus gem powder. The housemancy spell 'Living Tool' is cast upon the various joints of the wyvern construct to allow for autonomous movement, and the spell 'Living Doll' is cast upon the head area to grant it just enough intelligence to let it listen to its owner, (whoever possesses the medallion extensively mentioned above,) as well as allowing it to manipulate all of the 'Living Tool' spells in it's joints as one, so it doesn't merely spasm uncontrollably on the ground. The focus crystal in its forehead is the central focal point for the mana that flows through the construct, as that much mana would not merely dissipate if not properly bound to the construct. The sigil line (formed of imbedded focus gem powder) along its spine carries mana from the focus gem to the rest of its 'body.' This is why the gem in its forehead and the sigil line must be kept undamaged lest the construct falter. If they are indeed damaged, they must be replaced in order for the construct to regain functionality. The medallion to which this creature is bound must also have it's focus gem kept intact, lest the wyvern sit there like a statue. The creature may find the location of cities or settlements its owner has been to before via the housemancy spell 'Send Letter' which can send flying objects (typically with letters attached, but not in this case) to places the housemage has been. Therefor, it allows the wyvern construct to have similar location-honing powers. On a side-note, the creation of the wyvern construct and it's bound medallion drained it's creator from most of their mana.. This loss of mana renders them unable to use housemancy or other mana-based magics for two OOC weeks, as well as weakening them to child's level of strength for the same measure of time. After this time they will recover as their mana replenishes.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

he beginning of a sprite's life begins in the Eternal Forest, otherwise known as the Aspect's Realm.

Knoj'el is around ten inches tall, and of vague humanoid shape. However, a messy mat of blackish-brown fur that makes him look a bit like a musin covers his body. Knoj'el's arms and torso are linked by a pair of thin leathery wings, and his face has a rather odd shape giving him an overall appearance quite akin to a faintly humanoid bat. Knoj'el of the twilight subset of sprites, the subset that focuses on minor mischief and personal betterment via training or combat. Knoj'el personally strays toward dark, wild places, attempting to scare or fend off any descendants who wander into the lands they deems their territory. Occasionally, they'll head into less untamed areas to find someone/something new to tussle with. In their spare time, they'll go about speaking with the creatures of these wild places, forming bonds with them as they try to strengthen their ties to their natural allies.

  14. Just to clarify, I'm not attempting to learn this feat immediately. According to this particular feat's guide, I need ST oversight for the month before actual getting said feat. I felt like an Sreq wouldn't do justice to such a request, hence why I made this application. If I do indeed succeed on properly learning, then this can be denied/accepted.
