Aerin's birth was a miracle as her mother could not have children (having children being extremely difficult for elves due to the curse of Iblees in the war against Malin and his brothers) and spent many years wandering the forests in search of someone who could help her have a daughter like she'd always wanted. She was an old elf who had lived through many battles and seen Malinor rise and fall, and had learned to stay away from the conflict and live on the outskirts. She had watched as different leaders rose to power and lost it, and had watched other elven communities join the Silver Enclave. She believed in the dream of Malin, which was to have many elven children that would prosper. She eventually got lucky when she stumbled across a glade in the woods that was a shrine to the Elven father Malin. In the centre of the glade was a small flower. She took this flower home and looked after it. After many months the flower grew until its petals opened to reveal a small elven girl, with hair as red as the petals of the flower. This was how Aerin was born. Aerin grew up away from the other elves. As her birth was so extraordinary, her mother feared for her safety and kept her hidden all through her childhood. As a result, Aerin became withdrawn and anxious in the presence of anyone she did not know. Her mother died when she turned thirty, leaving Aerin alone. Since then she spent her life wandering the forests, learning the language of the animals and trees and studying other elves and the other races from afar. She always enjoyed watching their movements but was never tempted to join them. However she knows she must have been born for a reason. She simply hasn't found the answers she looks for. The forests do not know, but Aerin is sure that one day she will find the true meaning of her birth and why she has been sent to this earth. She keeps on her the flower that her mother found that day at the shrine of Malin, and never wants to let it go.
