Aerin flinches at his loud voice, looking him up and down warily. "Adventure, I suppose," she says quietly, not wanting to hold a conversation longer than necessary. She looks around herself with wide eyes, taking in the creatures throughout the city and the noise of the crowds. It's all so loud and unnatural here, unlike the peace and quiet of the forests where the rustling of the trees was a constant friend. She finds herself clutching the delicate stem of her flower, wrapped securely in a cloth in her pocket.
