  1. "'Ah think someone is insulting us"

Placid waters followed the path of least resistance as Hemlock poured a glass of mud-water that he thought was wine.  He let the pour stop and went to the next glass of the two lounging individuals sitting on the crescent-shaped beach.

"I'm really mad, but at th' same time I ain't know where I am.  But somehow 'ah feel as though something precious to me, someone 'ah would give my life for, is being insulted."

They adjusted the bow tie on their trimmed butler's suit.  The wither skeleton gloomily sulked concluding his service of Funnybone and Gashadokuro

    "Darn..."

  2. Wait ..   nevermind not Jujutsu Kaisen.  I'm thinking of the Spring 2005 anime Trinity Blood, made by Studio Gonzo who also made Desert Punk.  Yeah, thats better

What magic(s) will you be teaching?

             Alchemy

Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

Alchemy is the study and use of naturally occurring symbols in objects in order to create potions, body modifications, or living things.  Alchemy utilizes a material alphabet with elemental core symbols and subsects in each of those symbols, both the core symbols, such as earth, and the subsects such as vigor, are equally important when creating alchemical goods.

Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?

Alchemy is separated into three tiers, upon reaching tier 3, with a proper teacher, an alchemist can learn the processes of Tawkin, Animii, Black Alchemy, and further beyond.  Tawkin includes body modification allowing for a taught alchemist to increase their strength, reflexes, appearance, regenerative capabilities, and sight.  Typically, when learning Tawkin, in order to make a Teacher Application yourself, you will need to learn Kloning, by which you will be held to PK clause for obtaining the knowledge.  Kloning will allow you to avert death, however a created klone can be born with debilitating mutations and or destroyed by a third party.  Animii are mechanical creations of steel and alchemical reagents, also requiring a valid teacher, they can be used to create automatons, prosthetics, and further engineering using life blood, the primary ingredient of most animii creations.  For most creations of animii, a gearheart will be required to function and pump the artificial blood inside.  Gearhearts in automatons who have been destroyed are PK'd.  For other kinds of alchemy, including Severed Alchemy, Black Alchemy, and other forms of 'packs', they typically don't require an individual post to the forums, but they do require proper teaching from someone who knows the recipe IRP, designated most of the time as a 'rare recipe'.

Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?

*Off the ledge of the outcrop, looking down below as the ensuing dwarf began to charge uphill, the lightly armored skeleton flipped a clip off a small, one potion sized compartment containing a liquid with a smokey, almost gaseous look to it.

*Dreadlock, seeing the incoming force growing as they exited the cave following the ringing of the bell, primed the bomb.  They proceeded to shake it around and take a stance like a pitcher, one leg off the ground and both hands covering the bottle

    * | FWIP |  At once, seeing the closest among the pack crest the hill, they launched the explosive towards the ground where they stood, their stance betraying their action as the area was covered in a 3x3x3 radius of black colored smog, it was Smoke Whispers all along!

    * | Fwwwwwwwwwoooooom |  As the dwarven rally made their approach to the skeleton, they would find that the area had been vacated, and the whistling of bones fell from a height into the stream behind their backs, splashing with only a light plop as a noticeable puff in smoke extended from over the edge of the cliff as Dreadlock ran right off!

Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?

"So, this 'ere is Smoke Whispers, consider it a free getaway most of the time if yer' fortunate enough to encounter someone who ain't bullheaded."  They pulled a large, cork sealed bottle with metal clasps, removing them.  "Start with this, distilled water, you can boil it or get it from a spring I don't care, just don't use the water you find down here, otherwise you might kill yourself from some-  Sulfur fumes or something I don't know."  They added the liquid into a three separate bottles, filling about three quarters before stopping and cleaning the outside with a rag.

"We'll start with that plant."  Grabbing one of the herbs, they used a simple kitchen knife, clearly overdone with useless engravings in free time.  | Chop chop chop chopchopchopchop |  As they went, they diced the herb into smaller and smaller bits, horizontal and then vertical.  Eventually when a nod was given by the bag of bones, they proceeded to place the supplies into a mortar and pestle.  "Now-  Both this chopping and this grinding is important you'd see?  We need granules, like drugs, but we've gotta be more careful then that."  | Griiiiiiiind. . .  Top top. . .  Griiiiiind |  Swirling around the pestle, they had the slightly wetted substance into a consistency of a paste, before taking a spoon and scooping it into a small glassware.  "This!  This ain't alcohol."  They leaned to the student and showed an unmarked bottle with slightly bubbly, but otherwise colorless water.  "Aqua vitae.  Pure alcohol.  You drink this, we'd need to revive your dissolving corpse, nyek nyek nyek!"

Dumping a solid quantity of aqua vitae with an eyeballed measurement, Dreadlock took the same spoon from earlier that had scooped the paste out of the mortar, and began swirling around the ground up herb.  The skeleton proceeded grabbed a metal-wire mesh and used the pour spigot of the covered glassware to empty the solution slowly, letting the unused alcohol sink into the blackstone beneath their feet.

More and more, the paste substance returned, now saturated with alcohol through and through as they turnt to the furnaces overhead and poached a few logs in, throwing in some bone dust to enrage the fires as they placed a single, well worn kettle above the fires hung by a chain.  The skeleton used another batch of distilled water to add to the boil and let it slowly come to a boil, keeping the now filtered and aqua vitae saturated herb-paste nearby.  "This is mundane extraction, this 'ere process.  Hand me those other herbs, we'll need to repeat this for those two as well whilst this one is going, and git' that fire going on the other two bricks, you can't mix these things like sand and gravel, less you wanna die frum toxic fumes, or an explosion, nyek nyek."

As the student handed the other two separate herbs, they cringed at the amount of waste they had committed for one potion, and similarly began to dice the plant with the other necessary reagents.  "See, this one's got Growth, this one's got Endurance.  We'll need just one plant of each in order to make one bomb."  individually grinding the two in separate pestles, the skeleton drained more and more reagents, setting aside different bowls filled with each against each of the burners and kettles.

As the screeching whistled of boiling water made the apprentice cover their ears, the skeleton opened the lid and dropped the Dark symbols in, then going over to a separate kettle and dropped the Growth symbols in, then the Endurance, and finally sealed the lids of each.  "Wait 'till they've separated enough we can extract the powder.  Wash off that mesh I used fer' the dark symbols and get me two more frum the book shelf I repurposed."

The last of the symbols they needed caused them to turn to and fro before locating the future alchemist.  "Hey, come over here, sub-lesson time."  They beckoned for the apprentice closer, letting him peer over as they proceeded to crush the plant with their steely claws and add it to a mortar after plucking off some spares from inbetween their finger bones.  "'Nuff said about that, you'd seen this plant before considering I smacked you with it a couple of times.  Earth extraction, this is called. . .  We'll be grinding it just as before, but we're diverting frum what we did before, you see?"

They took the pre-measured quantity of salt from a nearby plate and dumped it into the mortar, continuing to grind up the substance with haste.  "Half of what you want, so. . .   Want one herb, about half its weight in salt, mhhhhmmm."  They proceeded to grab the sieve from below the makeshift alchemy table and let the somewhat dry substance fall into the metal wire sieve before swishing it around.  The reagents left over, now on the ceramic bowl, were placed to the far right as they let them watch.  "You'll know its ready for sifting when its dry like this, yeah."

As the hissing began to erupt again, the skeleton clacked over to the containers and opened each.  "Right, they seem ready."  They grabbed a wire mesh and drained the dark reagents first.  "These other thangs are useless at the moment.  We just need the Dark symbols."  Pushing aside the other piles of sand-like substances, they plucked several granules, two to be exact, and pushed the rest into a lump at the side.  They repeated this for the other two mundane extractions and dropped each into the bottle of distilled water.

"You can get all the symbols from an herb, so. . .  You can use one to get both a symbol of darkness and growth, unfortunately I don't got anything like that in the reserves."  -  "These are symbols, the elemental thangs are the signs, yes, it's confusing but it feels right when you begin to get more into it."  They plucked a singular endurance symbol, as well as two of the growth symbols, and also placed the granules into the distilled water as it turned into a hazy, wispy grey.  "Now the earth symbols.  Three blindness.  There isn't a particular way for this potion, but something like a Black-Smog or a Blasting Potion will be pretty damn precise"

They used a fork to stir around the symbols, adding the three Earth sign blindness symbols into the mix, squirting a squid's ink sac when it appeared to settle, and fitting a cork to the lip of the bottle.  "Right, should be done. . .  Ready to go two more rounds, nyek nyek nyek?"

Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?

I would tell them OOCly to follow the guidelines in order to remain an alchemist without getting their FA revoked.  Mainly, I would cite the rules of powergaming and fair game conduct that they had to abide in order to join the server in the first place.  There are set redlines for all of alchemy, pretaining to using a potion, making a potion, and extraction requirements.  If they continue, or attempt to argue, I would ask the ST to freeze or deny their alchemy FA for the time being until they can rectify their conduct.
