  1. “As Chief Detective, I would like to formally apologise for any failings of the investigative branch, especially any that have happened while I have held my office- Chief Detective Duncan the fearsome”
  2. Duncan reads the flier as it comes across his desk “People expect to not be held accountable for their actions due to their previous role in the army? Such stupidity, the Dame gave a child a blast potion, such things are not excusable in the slightest. There has been no misuse of power and to my knowledge. Sir Erik Othaman is still in the ISA anyway, it was only a few months ago I spoke to him last, I must assume she confused him Erik Tarcell Othaman. Shows how much she knows.” Remarked Duncan in a somewhat rambling matter, this flier had evidently annoyed him.
  3. [Daylight Savings] The Burning Forest The Forest of the Pale Burns. On the 3rd of Owyn’s Flame a group of 60, comprised of 50 MoJ men and 10 ISA soldiers led by Chief Commissioner James Madron marched down to The Pale after a report of MRA activity. Acting on this information we found a large house that was infested by 50 MRA agents all waiting for the fight. Upon contact we stopped and offered them a chance to surrender before the battle commenced, as expected they declined such an offer. As we got ready to fight, one of the MRA agents primed a crossbow, only to put in what turned out to be an explosive device. They shot it towards us but luckily we were able to escape the blast radius. I led a small detachment of 10 men around the side to flank the enemy, while the fight raged on the front lines, with bolts flying from all directions. Many men fell to the bolts as Robert Othaman led his men into close combat. The MRA used their firebombs liberally, missing often, leading to the trees surrounding us to start catching fire. With an aura of orange flames surrounding the battlefield, my men had managed to succeed in their flank, leaving the MRA with little chance to escape. Being almost entirely surrounded, it was near impossible for the MRA to secure a victory and so we all moved in to finish them off and win the day. 10 of their original 50 men managed to escape with their lives, all suffering serious injuries, while we only lost 10 men, a few with serious injuries. This was an incredibly successful operation and my thanks go to all the men and women who marched with us and to those we lost, may Godan rest your souls. Signed, Duncan the Fearsome Supervising Solicitor, Ministry of Justice
