[T5] BRAZEN BONFIRE [ACTIVE]
Though the clashing of steel and the pursuit of quests may drive a Templar’s ambition, it leaves them wounded and in need of recuperation. A Master Templar is thus able to imbue a pyre to aid in mending their wounds whilst they bask in the warm embrace of the holy aura. Too would creatures of the dark think twice about approaching the flame, lest they be afflicted with horrid anxiety. Though a Templar may extinguish their bonfire by leaving the area, three Templars in unison may set ablaze a permanent pyre at a location of their choice.
MECHANICS:
Brazen Bonfire requires [5] Emotes to cast: The First requires a Templar to mark the ground with the Radiant Star Sigil of Machediael, the Second to draw upon the Templar’s courageous aura, the Third to manifest it as a blazing white ball of flame, Fourth to usher it forth onto the Radiant Star marking, and the Fifth to set the pyre ablaze.
Should a Templar of any tier sit within a [5] Block radius of the Brazen Bonfire, their minor wounds would begin to numb, close and then scar. Should the creator of the pyre leave the area of effect, the Pyre would immediately extinguish. It is noted that, should three Templars imbue a Brazen Bonfire in unison, that the fire will burn indefinitely lest extinguished.
Dark CAs who find themselves within the [5] Block radius will find themselves afflicted with a great bout of anxiety, resulting in the cost of their spells increasing by a single emote count. Should someone seek to destroy a bonfire, both standard or permanent, they may do so upon three continued emotes of disruption.
It is also noted that should a Templar bask within the flames of a Brazen Bonfire outside of a combat encounter, the madness wrought by Touch of Jophiael will subside, and its counter would reset. See "Touch of Jophiael" in the appropriate section.
REDLINES
• A Templar must be T5 to create a bonfire. This is to say that lower tiers, though being able to benefit from its radius, cannot imbue it themselves.
• Brazen Bonfire necessitates that the Radiant Star be marked prior to manifestation. This is to say that, given the focus required to make an accurate depiction, a Templar cannot make this in the midst of combat.
• Brazen Bonfire will NOT heal a Templar’s wounds while engaged in combat.
• Brazen Bonfire will NOT mend broken bones or heal internal injuries. The wounds capable of being mended include bruises, minor cuts and non-critical stab wounds. This said, Brazen Bonfire IS capable of providing remedy to the Touch of Jophiael and will reset its damage counter outside of a combat scenario.
• While in proximity to a Voidal Tear or Hollow, a Brazen Bonfire is incapable of sustaining itself and thus cannot be created or maintained.
• Brazen Bonfire will extinguish itself should the casting Templar leave the [5] block radius, the Templar engages in combat, or if someone disrupts it for [3] emotes. Disruption constitutes any freeform means of extinguishing a flame, I.E. smothering it, destroying the fuel source, blowing it out, ETC.
• Brazen Bonfire can, at maximum, physically envelop a 1x1 area if standard or a 3x3 area if permanent. This is to say that Brazen Bonfire cannot be used for arson.
• Brazen Bonfire cannot be used as a means to detect Dark CAs, and anxiety produced can be simply written off as something else.
• Permanent Brazen Bonfires necessitate ST and RO approval, and are indicated by a visible “ST Approved” sign.
• Dark CAs CURRENTLY affected include: Nephilim, Frost Witches, Inferi + Naztherak and Undead [Dark-Stalkers + Liches]. New Dark CAs accepted in the future will be included on this list, at the ST’s discretion.
• A permanent Brazen Bonfire may have a single Lightstone node placed.12 -

Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:
Malchediael's Radiant Templars is a [3] slot deific magic, offering tools for combat, monster-slaying, exploration, etcetera. Templar’s shine in close-quarters combat, the first weaponry raised in combat gaining a shining aura of Holy Flame that holds the searing strength of Aurum, without the weakness of the metal. Templars are cursed by the Touch of Jophiael, a state of rage where a Templar attacks the closest being nearest to them, ally and all, the only exception being that of fellow Templars, which will be seen as an ally amidst a horde of Demons.
Templars are expected to follow Malchadiael’s Dogma, which advocates for maintaining oaths, accepting challenges laid before them, settling disputes before they fester and boil over, to vanquish those whom transgress upon others and to raise ones weapon for the glory of fight, rather than for coin. Though whilst not forced to follow the word of the Aengul of Courage, those whom do not, are usually scorned, made to trial by combat; Victor's Justice, those whom fail the duel, are not slain, rather, their connection to the Aengul is severed for a temporary time, though for a rare case, one may sever the tether to the Aengul of Courage, fully disconnecting them from the magic.Are there different sections or subsections of magic? [1] Takemura focuses upon the fleeing foe, his hands clasping together in concentration. As he channels the courageous aura within him, Holy White Flame starts to gather beneath his feet.
[2] As the Holy White Flame intensifies, his entire form becomes engulfed in the radiant energy of the Arch-Aengul, Malchadiael, as he focuses upon the fleeing foe, his vision narrows to only able to see the rough shape of the fleeing foe.
[3] Takemura charges forwards with a burst of speed, the Holy White Flame trailing behind him, bringing a gauntlet outwards to whack the foe in the back of the head, the punch became strengthened by the effects of Dauntless Charge, amplifying the force to that of a Sledgehammer strike, following the strike, the maelstrom of White Flames that trailed the Templar dispersed, granting the strike the debilitating effects of Aurum.Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?
[Bulwark]
Takemura picked up a Kanabo and a shield from the rack of weaponry, offering the shield out to the Student. "I shall teach you the power of Bulwark, legends say Svuleh of Clan Metalfist used this same spell to block a strike from Azdromoth, raise your shield and focus upon your blessing, strengthen your shield with the might of Malchadiael." Takemura says, reeling the Kanabo back like a baseball bat.
Bata accepts the offered shield, his gaze following the Kanabo as he digs his heels into the dirt, raising the shield, as the shield is raised, a soft glow emanates from around the shield, strengthening the shield against the oncoming strike!
Takemura swings the Kanabo, aiming for the center of the shield!
Bata prepares for impact! His heels digging further into the ground as the Kanabo strikes against the shields surface, dispersing the strikes force outwards, causing a small harmless explosion of white flames to erupt from the shield.Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?
I’d try to correct them on what they may have power-gamed and how to properly do the spell. If a student repeatedly powergames after being corrected multiple times I’d contact Story Team.

In the days of old, mystics were crowned by a deluge of ectoplasm which brought them closer to the wastes. Yet over the ages, the Barrowlords came to treacherous a more devious path, that would not only bring the mystic closer to the dead whom they bequeathed, but allow them to wander the very same road of the Elysian dead themselves. Through this act of Mysticism, an aspirant who has garnered the faith of a Barrowlord or mystic at the height of their craft may present themself, wherein the wight or mystic would inflict a grave wound in the acolyte’s spirit. With the wound inflicted, the wight or mystic may then grapple a phantom soul from the wastes - often one that had been chosen by the acolyte themselves — and bind them to the acolyte’s spirit to ‘mend’ the wound.
OLD:SpoilerTo connect an individual to Mysticism, a TA holding Mystic or Wight who has been taught the means of Conjoinment may conduct a freeform ritual pertaining to themes of the dead and the occult in order to connect an individual to Mysticism with OOC consent. The ability to conjoin is to be marked on one’s TA, and any who have been taught the means of Conjoinment may teach it to other TA holders.

Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:
Alchemy utilizes microscopic signs and symbols, that are usually referred to as the material alphabet, these signs and symbols may be utilized alongside concoctions such as Aqua Vitae or Onion Juice to create Alchemical Concoctions or Treatments, though first the Alchemist has to know how to identify and extract the symbols that are within a reagent, which is a long and tedious process, the Alchemist must also know recipes on how to create said concoctions, with many brews being locked away behind the 'Rare Recipe' tag, which means that one must learn how to create it in roleplay.
Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?
Depending on what constitutes a subsection, as it could be the ever bloated alchemical potions section, or the alchemical feats, for Alchemical Feats there is three; Animii which through the use of Clockwork and Alchemical Lifeblood, Clockwork Machines may be created across the range of humanoid creatures to animals even Clockwork Husks for one to inhabit upon death, Smoggers, which is very similar to Animii, in that it too, revolves heavily upon clockwork machines, though Smoggers is a more grand approach, rather than being stuck to humanoids and animals, Smoggers may create giant walking castles @Ugokoyama and homes, even tanks! @Reinmar with MArts, these constructions may be utilized in Events. The last Alchemical feat is that of Tawkin, which revolves around smithing with faux human flesh made out of clay, utilizing this clay, one may create Klones, Mutations and even Homunculi!

Takemura stumbles into the Alchemical Lab reeking of Sake and Opium, the Samurai making his way towards the table, groggily flipping through the pages of the old book, until he reaches the page he was seeking 'Hangover Cure!' "Maple Syrup.. Clarity.. Grace and Heat." The Samurai uttering out, before turning back to stumble towards the Grub-Bucket(TM) to steal one of Bata's bottles of Maple Syrup.
Upon returning, the Samurai pops Maple Syrup bottles cork, tossing it into the trash before he connects the bottle onto one of the three brewing stands rungs, leaving the rest empty save for this single rung, once secured to the brewing stand, the Samurai pops a funnel into the bottles neck, afterwards reaching for the several vials that lay upon the countertop.
Takemura levies the first vial, containing two symbols of Mundane Clarity, removing the cork to then pour the contents into the Maple Syrup. "Now for the Grace." The Samurai picks up the next vial, too, popping its cork with a flick of his thumb, pouring the contents of a single count of Mundane Grace into the Maple Syrup. "Aaannnnnddd then the Heat." The Samurai lofts the last vial, which were stamped with a Flame, removing its cork to then pour the singular count of mundane Heat into the concoction of Maple Syrup and symbols.
Takemura takes the funnel from the bottles neck, then raising a long thin fork, also stolen from the Grub-Bucket(TM) to then stir the mixture around until fully mixed together, once so, the Samurai lifts the bottle of Hangover cure, downing its contents with a chaser of Distilled Water, the symptoms of being Hungover slowly fading away across a duration of twenty minutes.

Takemura and his Apprentice, Bata enter the Alchemical lab, standing by a gathered set of Herbs, Distilled Water, Aqua Vitae and a Mortar and Pestle, the wearing similar attire of goggles, gloves and aprons, all of which were too, stolen from the Grub-Bucket(TM), "Bata, for this lesson you will be creating Liquid Purifier, though we call it I N S T A N T * W A T E R here, for this, you will need to locate the Growth and Purity symbols, to locate the symbols, you must extract them from plants, rocks, etcetera and grind it all together until it is like flour, then you must drown the remaining dust in Aqua Vitae, then cook out the Aqua Vitae until only the powder remains."
Bata picks up the first vial, containing the gathered herbs, the Alchemist Apprentice dropping the herbs into the Mortar and Pestle and grinding the plantlife until it were nothing but a fine paste, once it were the proper consistency, the Alchemist Apprentice used a spork to scrape the mortar and pestle into the nearby cauldron, pouring in a few counts of Aqua Vitae, setting the fire beneath the Cauldron alight with a match. The Alchemist waited until all of the Aqua Vitae had been boiled away, and the remaining dust to cool down.
Once the herbal dust had been properly cooled down, Takemura chimed in. "Now use this magnifying glass to locate the symbols within the powder, and mix the symbols with the Water there." The Alchemist Teacher sets the magnifying glass onto the countertop.
Bata then scoops the herbal dust up, lining it onto the countertop, then raising the magnifying glass as he searches through the dust, using a pair of tweezers and a glass vial to collect the symbols for the later use, once each symbol were found, those symbols of: Mundane | Purity [x3], Mundane | Grace [x2] and Mundane | Order [x1], lastly, and certainly not least Mundane | Separation [x2], each of these symbols were placed into its own vial, labled accordingly with the Material Alphabet symbol.
"That was Mundane Extraction." The Alchemist Teacher extended a thumbs up. "Now, for the mixing, combine the Purity, Grace and Order together into the Mortar and Pestle, then, add the Separation to the water, then mix them together by putting the lid on the bowl and shaking it." The Teacher set a bowl with a lid onto the countertop.
Bata took the offered bowl, pouring the Separation and a count of Distilled water and mixing the concoction around with a spork, before setting it aside, placing the lid back onto it. - Bata then opened the vials, pouring in the rest of the symbols of Purity, Grace and Order, mixing together until a fine paste, once the symbols were ground up into a fine dust, the Student scoops the dust up in the spork, removing the lid of the bowl and dropping the Symbol dust into the bowl, securing the lid and shaking the bowl until its contents were mixed thoroughly.
Takemura scooped up the dull gray dust into a vial, securing swiftly with a fresh cork, Takemura, quoted Father Harold of the Lectorate as he examined the mixture. "Finally, instant water."
Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?
I’d try to correct them on what they may have power-gamed and how to properly create the potion. If a student repeatedly powergames or metagames potions after being corrected multiple times I’d contact Story Team.
