    Effect(s) of the Artifact:

Should a mage possess sufficient proficiency with Life Evocation they might be taught this spell, so that they might conjure chimeric alterations upon already living beings. This might occur in many ways: turning a being's skin bright yellow, turning your own nose into that of a pig's snout, or even growing an extra limb. Due to the complex nature of such, only mages who know all of conjuration may cast it.

Emotes for this spell scale by the number of chimeric alterations involved in the casting in a similar manner to Chimeric Alteration's current conjuring methods. Each cast adds on one additional emote to the required amount of emotes for a standard summoning ritual i.e. terrestrial conjuration. However, should the chimeric alterations be significant (two or more alterations) the emote count increases to two additional emotes and can no longer be used in combat.

    Red Lines of the Artifact:

    Spoiler
    • Follows all general Life Evocation guidelines surrounding Chimeric Alterations and spellforging guidelines where applicable.
    • Due to the spell’s complexity, it requires tier 5 conjuration

    • When learned, it is marked upon the user’s Life Evocation MA.

    • The conjuration of limbs breathes extra use of the void into your body, degrading it further by voidal sickness. As such, the original strength of the being is divided equally amongst limbs, meaning additional limbs cannot be used to gain additional strength

    • This spell cannot be used to directly increase the muscle mass of the altered creature, only decrease it.

    • Alterations require line of sight and the casting mage must have touch/contact with that which is intended to be affected by this spell

    • Alterations are temporary, always fading once the mage disconnects from the void. Should this disconnection be done forcefully i.e. a punch to the head, this fading of the alteration would be extremely painful and would render the limb permanently crippled.

    • Natural parts summoned this way cannot exceed leather strength, being reduced to leather strength should the creature naturally exceed them.

    • Casting this spell upon another player requires both RP and OOC consent. Additionally, you must have studied and dissected the race of the player in a manner that you might be able to conjure them with standard terrestrial conjuration.

    • Any alterations used in this spell must first be able to be used in standard Chimeric Alteration conjuration

    • Attempting to use this spell to look like various kinds of descendants i.e. a "disguise" should have notable effects, making it obvious that something is weird about the person.

    • Overall, if this is to allow a Conjurationist to apply their magic's effects on living tissue that is not their own then the alterations should have little to no CRP impact. If one decides to summon an extra limb either on a animal/target of their choosing, this extra limb should not function and instead be flacid and imperfect.

    • As well, alterations that are animalistic in nature should not grant advantages not inherent to the mage's race UNLESS listed below. As a reminder, connection to the void MUST be maintained in perpetuity for any effects to take place:

      • Heightened sense of smell - Dog nose

        • Cannot be used to metagame i.e. "You smell like a dwarf! You must be spying within dwarven territory!"

      • Echolocation - Bat ears

        • Requires the mage to emote making sounds at least once per 2 emotes and for those sounds to be able to be reverberate off of surroundings.

        • Can't be used to metagame stuff

      • Underwater breathing - Fish gills

        • Upon disconnection the casting mage has one emote before their lungs are entirely filled. This would be too distressing to be able to recast and make the gills anew.

        • The casting mage cannot breathe air while maintaining gills only within water.

      • Night vision - Cat Eyes

        • May see up to Minecraft Brightness: Bright settings in the dark rply

        • Is not mutually exclusive with the Veil Watcher feat

    • Overall, none of these effects can impact combat or somehow grant an advantage or disadvantage either to the casting mage or whoever may be their target/near them.

    •

Explanation of the effect(s) (i.e. how it does what it does - slight bending of magic lore is allowed):

As the smith carves sword from iron, as the carpenter crafts chair from oak, as the mason crafts walls from stone, so too does the mage craft life itself from Vuur'dor. The first true mage, Yemekar, crafted this world we live in from the power of Vuur'dor, the void in less... civilized tongues. It was his hammer that forged the lands, his chisel that carved the mountains, his spade that dug the rivers and oceans. But his greatest craft was that of life itself. The beasts and plants to inhabit his world. And in doing so he created his own magnum opus: The dwedmar.

But in Yemekar's crafts he never achieved true perfection so that he might leave this gift to his chosen people. The pursuit of this progress, of Yemekar's ancient form of wielding Vuur'dor has encapsulated many for centuries. In the latest push in advancement of Vuur'dor a one, Thromdrick Irongut, has seeked out to expand upon the perfection of Yemekar's existing crafts. Changing rather than creating. For while the smith may alter his sword after creation, the mage may not alter his craft of life. In chasing perfection of Yemekar's craft through intensive study of Yisars and their rituals of creation

Thromdrick has happened upon a method to do just this.

As such he discovered through advanced study of Conjuration a mage might seek to conjure upon not only those around him but themselves. With this spell a mage might achieve that dream as they can now alter their very own bodies, achieving a similar Chimeric beastliness as their own creations. From adding new limbs to changing the color of their skin, this spell allows them to truly envelop themselves within the magics of Life Evocation and become one with it, changing not only their bodies but their senses as well, to further perfect Yemekar's creations.

It has been requested of me, the Lord Justiciar, to make it public that Bakir Ireheart and his sons have fulfilled their payment of a sum of 6,500 mina to full completion due to apparent misinformation of the otherwise within the Grand Kingdom. As such I write this missive to inform those that such a fine has been paid in full over the most recent trial of Bakir and his sons on the matter of the recent Goldhand Affair. The High courts have made their decision regarding Viscount Gregarious Roa of Pavia

On the charges of: Section VII.V on accounts of Section V.VII: Conspiracy to Commit Assault in the third degree, by hiring an assassin to attempt the murder of a one, Ludwig Barclay

It has come to the High Court’s attention that perfidious action has occurred amongst a vassal state of Urguan. In particular, that of The Viscounty of Pavia. Upon the execution of a thorough investigation by officials of the Urguani government and in conjunction with the magistrates of the High Court of Urguan, the Court has come to decisions regarding the following accusations against  a one, Viscount Gregarious Roa of Pavia on charges of:

Section VII.V on accounts of Section V.VII: Conspiracy to Commit Assault in the third degree, by hiring an assassin to attempt the murder of a one, Ludwig Barclay

Section VI.V: Heathenism in the second degree for his harboring of the suspected darkspawn Orion Adler

As such, Viscount Gregarious Roa of Pavia is hereby summoned to trial to hear the verdict of the courts on this matter and provide his defense. Should he not show, a warrant of arrest will be ordered for him so that he might be brought to the justice of the High Courts.

What magic(s) will you be teaching?

             Life Evocation

Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

Life Evocation is the act of using the void to create temporary life in the shape of organic material. That encompasses many things from animals to plants to animal parts to beings of nature unique in their own right from manipulations of those existing. However, it is important to note that the entities produced from conjuration are produced from the Conjurer's Shorthand. As such, much of the special functions of organic materila, beyond serving as flesh, plant, and bone, do not exist. Characteristics such as the acidity of bile or the blood clotting of Tippen's root are not represented when conjured. This is not to say, that conjurations are useless entirely, as flesh, blood, plant and bone can serve endless purposes if one is creative.

Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?

Generally conjuration can be divided into two sections: Conjuration and Jing Artificery. Conjuration contains four different categories within of which they are: Disjointed Conjuration, Terrestrial Conjuration, Perennial Conjuration, and Chimeric Conjuration. Within each of these are also distinctions made between combative, non-combative, and enchantments making each slightly different. Disjointed conjuration is the act of conjuring unanimated sections of fauna such as a walrus's tusk. Terrestrial conjuration counters this with its fully realized existence of fauna, such as a full walrus that is animated. Perennial conjuration acts in the same manner but for flora, such as a mushroom to be conjured. Finally, Chimeric conjuration acts as a sort of bastardization between terrestrial conjuration and the other two where one might play Frankenstein and mix and match features of life into one new being. The other categories exist within Jing Artificery. Jing Artificery acts as a sort of additional feat added on to the tail end of conjuration. One must first craft and bind a jing to serve as an implement to either heal, summon life, or beastmeld (a method of conjuring life around yourself). Jing is a more self-taught magic tacked on to the end of Conjuration.

Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?

    Non-combative Terrestrial Conjuration:

Thromdrick Irongut closes his eyes, reaching out with his mind as he searches to grasp upon the void he's grown so familiar with and connects. His eyes begin to glow a dark red and a similar faint fog begins to surround his face, drops of blood signifying his aura as they float down from his face.

[!] Blood begins to pool on the stone before him, writhing and erratic, creating a great horde of movement. From it, the shapes of 10 separate rats begin to form out of blood.

[!] Soon, blood begins to calcify, solidifying itself into the shape of bone. Bones add onto bones and so on and so on until the skeletons of 10 separate rats stand surrounded by blood. The blood does not let up in its solidification, it continues on, packing on and solidifying into organs, now flesh, now eyes, now tails, now fur as the horde of rats comes into true being. The rats begin to skitter about the room without command, spreading all throughout the great stone.

Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?

    Disjointed Conjuration:

Thromdrick Irongut strokes his long beard in thought as he slowly unravels his large set of tools, sharp objects of every sort and a few blunt ones for breaking bones. "Now tell meh laddeh, wot d'yeh know o' hands eh?"

Dworfo replies "Ah know that I pick things up with them. And that I can punch with them and that there's bones and muscles within them as well."

Thromdrick Irongut nods along with the response "Well aye, that all is true. Ahm sure yeh've used hands plenteh o' toimes. As such ah undehstand that yeh know much o' their functions and 'ow they grow, work, and feel. Todeh weh shall learn 'ow they look. Nae just from teh outside, but teh inside." The dwarven mage reaches under the table and produces a disembodied dwarf's hand, placing it on the table in front of his student. "Todeh, yeh shall dissect this 'and, and recreate it of yer own accord."

Dworfo looks down at the hand and takes it, unknowing of where to move from here

Thromdrick Irongut slowly moves his set of tools toward the student "Use my set fer now, peel teh skin back, drain teh blood, and slowleh work yer way through et. Take notes, and beh vereh careful nae to displace anehthing until yeh absoluteleh 'ave to."

Dworfo proceeds to do as instructed, carefully picking his way through each layer of the hand and pausing to take notes on its structure and the way each part is connected to all the others. It takes several hours.

Thromdrick Irongut, nearly having falling asleep as he waited, blinks his sleepy eyes back awake as he sees his student finish "Ah, good job laddeh, yeh've done ah foine job ah see. Now onto teh fun part eh? Yeh need tae connect tae Vuur'dor. Do this now."

Dworfo does as instructed once more, connecting to the void, his hands begin to glow a light blue reminiscent of the sky as he does so.

Thromdrick Irongut watches patiently "Aye, that's et. Good job laddeh. Now ah need yeh tae think. Consideh each ahnd evereh part o' teh hand. Teh muscles, teh skeletal structure, teh tendons, teh flesh, everehthing. Picture et in yeh mind. Abstract et and calm yerself. Then allow yer moind tae become realiteh."

Dworfo reaches his glowing hands forth, his hands grasping for the image in his mind. And... with a puff of light blue smoke a dwarf's hand would suddenly appear in his hand. The shock of it takes him by surprise! The fleshy appendage drops to the floor and vanishes in yet another puff of blue smoke as Dworfo disconnects with a sharp yelp of surprise!

Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?

Life Evocation is a magic especially prone to powergaming, chimeric conjuration provides many outlets to try this. If I saw powergaming I would first politely inform them of their mistake and explain why it was wrong and how it might improve. I would do my best to ensure they do this until it might become evident that it is done on purpose in which I would provide a final chance before either dropping them and informing staff members.

The court would also like to announce a verdict declared on accusations made and investigated regarding Thalgrim Goldhand’s failure to protect his fellow dwed, namely the Grand King. As such we have made a verdict on the following:

Section VII.IV: Insubordination in the Third Degree, by his failure to protect his Grand King or signal for help in any way when visibly attacked.

We have found the defendant to be Guilty. However, the court finds that the superfluous nature of the punishment administered by Bakir Ireheart to have been far greater than that of the crime committed. As such, we shall seek no further punishment.

Should the Defendant seek to provide a defense for this a trial can and will be held, though it is of the court’s opinion that such is unnecessary as the matter has already been resolved

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Eidolas are beings, once wrought of ectoplasm, brought into stone. These new creatures are created in a ritual requiring two mystics to rebirth them within the waters of its menhir. The creation is one of great pain and disruption for the entity being birthed anew. Once created they are tied to their menhir, a great stone, almost an altar for the Eidola. The soul of the being is striped and placed into this stone, binding them forever as one. This stone is of the same material that builds up the Eidola itself, damp cobbled stone of faintly colored shades. The dampness is the key to an Eidola's success, it allows them the flexibility of a normal person for a stone creature. However, this water is a curse too. Should too much leak out, it would prove disastrous for the Eidola, slowing them down and eventually killing them so that they might be reborn at their menhir. As such they must soak themselves every 3 days to ensure consistent dampness. At this menhir they may take many forms, gaining the rough strength equivalent to that form i.e. dwarf sized Eidola gaining dwarf strength and orc sized Eidola gaining Orc strength. Though it must never exceed Orc strength or a height of 9 ft at maximum or 5 ft at minimum

Palelords are even further ascended versions of Pale Knights acting as great beings of stature. To ascend a ritual of mystics and a fellow Pale Knight are required alongside 30 harvested souls. They are bound to 9-15 ft tall and their strength comes to match that of an Olog. They still require water, even if it doesn't show fully visually. They retain the ability to rebuild themselves at their menhir as well, though their capabilities are more extensive, MArts are encouraged at this process to allow for more unique forms of Pale Lords as Pale Lords are just a base CA.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?

Eidolas are characterized by their almost statue like appearance, made of the stone of their menhir. From their menhir they can add or subtract stone to take on a variety of appearances. They often appear in the form of cobbled stone in shades of blue, green, or purple. It is largely up to the player the shapes and forms the Eidola takes as long as they do not go into Pale Lord territory of size. Water passes by their stone, making it feel smoother than it is oftentimes.

Pale Lord show a similar case of aesthetic though their stone is smooth instead of cobbled and are often far larger due to their empowered states compared to Pale Knights. The previously seen water is no more in a Lord's stone as well.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Ghosts are born upon the disruption of a soul’s transition to the afterlife. During the initial stage of their new lives, these ghosts are known as Revenants. They are yet to know truly what they have become. Most often, this stage is shown to have the revenant being very volatile, both emotionally and physically. Their pain tolerance is roughly equivalent to that of a child’s. The sun is a horrid thing for them, causing intense pain after ~10 minutes of exposure. They don’t really know or have control of their post-life abilities yet and often turn to Geistreach so as to evolve into one of two types when they learn of the circumstances of their death.

One of these types is a Poltergeist, this is the one that I plan to evolve to. Poltergeists are known for being unstable and violent, they have not accepted their deaths properly. In contrast to Spectors and Revenants, their appearance is far more horrorsome. They take on traits of feral animals: sharpened teeth, claw-like hands, withdrawn lips. Their voices are similarly feral: grating and hissing. Their deaths show plainly on their figures. Their minds are constantly switching between anger and sadness. Wrath and jealousy. This feeling follows  them around for those surrounding as well. They are unwilling actors in the world and as such are more durable to pain and less likely to run. They are fueled by hatred.

The Other type is the Specter. Specters are phantoms who have come to terms with their deaths. They have become able to experience wide ranges of emotion and often look more like themselves, though more ghost-like. Their voices are melodic and soft, in contrast to the harsh grating voices of their counterparts. In spite of this, they grow detached from their previous lives, they try to avoid the mortal plane more and more. They are a peaceful creature and that peace emanates from them.

Both types are known to create a lair of sorts. Poltergeists create a haunt while Specters create their sanctuaries. The presence of each are known to such places, haunts instilling fear, while sanctuaries instill peace.

All phantoms, no matter the type, are made of an ectoplasm that is changeable only and only injured by certain substances, such as Aurum. All phantoms can be killed as descendants with such materials, however they will re-manifest within their lair after some time. One of the ways they try to combat such weakness is with their capabilities to go invisible which all phantoms possess. The ectoplasm means that they are able to float and often look translucent, like a dense gas or a gooey liquid.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

The Soulbound Golem, i.e. the type I’m applying for, is a Golem made with the entrapped soul of a character. Essentially, Soulbound Golems use the soul of their previous lives to help power further sigils than your standard Thanhite Golem. Soulbound Golems also have the ability to maintain memories from their previous life leading to more understanding of the world at activation, yet similarly they are far more likely to go red. Going red is a state that occurs in opposition to being blue. Going red essentially means that the Golem in question goes off-the-rails per say. The cases vary by each Golem, in some cases Red Golems go completely berserk and go on a rampage willing to damage even their Impera. Others might only purposely misinterpret orders with a willingness to harm their Impera. Red Golems who have not gone full berserk still require Impera and orders. Mostly, Golems turn Red when their cores are damaged but it is common for Soulbound Golems to go red upon activation. When a Golem is not red it is considered Blue. A Blue Golem is a Golem as you would expect, largely obedient unless asked to do something to harm itself. A Golem’s actions in roleplay must be connected with active orders and cannot come up with its own things to do.

Golems seek out orders at all times, thus they often go searching for an Impera should their current one not remain active in giving orders. I.e. if an impera of mine goes inactive, I can seek out others. Golems also lack emotion or feeling meaning they cannot speak with inflection (using ! or ?). Similarly, Golems cannot form creative ideas and can only follow recipes. The Core of a Golem is its most important part. This core is what houses its being. This core cannot be placed in the limbs of the Golem and is roughly as fragile as thick glass. Another important part of Golems are its sigils. Sigils give Golems bodily functions i.e. touch, hearing, memory, etc. These are placed in slots by Golemancers to provide these functions for their Golems. The amount of auxiliary sigils for each golem is capped. For Soulbound Golems it is capped at 6 auxiliary sigils. The height and speed of Soulbound Golems can be either within the limitations of a Thanhite Golem or a Task-type Golem depending on how the Golemancer makes the Golem. In my case my Golem will be using the limitations of a Standard Thanhite Golem.

One of the most important things to note with a soulbound Golem is that they have a soft pk clause on them. If their core is completely destroyed, the soul within is released. Soulbound Golems still have access to the sigil of preservation should they desire, but they will only be made into a standard Thanhite Golem. If this happens, I must comment on my CA that the Golem is no longer Soulbound.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?

They are made, largely, of stone with the exception of decorations (which cannot be used for anything other than aesthetics other than Aurum’s effects on ghosts/phantoms). These decorations can consist of just about anything while the golem itself cannot be made of metal, ironwood, flesh, obsidian, or anything else “as dense or more dense than metal”. They are always in the shape of a descendant. Additionally, Golems have a core. In my case this core will be made out of Aurum.

  16. As someone who just pk'd a long time character in a conflict with critter themselves I just wanna mention that having these methods thrown out there before, during, and after by critter really made the experience a lot more fun. Plus honestly, it enhanced the rp itself quite a bit as well. Especially compared to some other less-than-stellar crp I've had in the past.

    Great post!

this face has haunted me for years

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    The Kool-Aid Man

Many a sleepless night has befallen me of late. You see... I have come into conflict with whether or not I should reveal what I know and destroy the peaceful ignorance you have all lived in for so many years. But the time has come I desire the help of the LOTC community to put my mind at ease. The Kool-Aid man. This sick bastard, this Lovecraftian horror, this rodeo champion, this alchemist, this shapeshifter, may somehow be secretly one of the most powerful beings in all of fiction. If he ever rises out of the depths of TV commercials and comes for our characters on LOTC we are doomed. We cannot stop him if we do not understand him. We must prepare our characters. His incredible power derives from the unknowingness behind his very being. What even is the Kool-Aid Man? Where is his consciousness? What is his consciousness? How can he exist in such a way? How is the glass of his jar so indestructible it can break through walls? How can such an Eldritch demon be defeated if he is so indestructible?

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    The True Danger

In the Kool-Aid canon the Kool-Aid man demonstrates many terrifying abilities to be feared endlessly. But I am sure that he can be defeated should we band together and find his true weaknesses. Here, I will outline the powers and dangers that I have discovered for all those that need to be aware using this video as reference:

-Dimensional Travel. This is the most important of the Kool-Aid man's talents. This is what will allow him to come to Almaris and destroy us once and for all. This talent is seen at 6:03 where he uses billboards to travel to a dimension where an intersection is actually a beach.

-Incredible strength. At 1:14, the Kool-Aid man is shown to be infinitely stronger than 6 people trying to beat him in tug-of-war. Not only is the Kool-Aid man not trying, he is actively distracted from the tug-of-war and easily wins without even noticing. He proceeds to drag these children through the mud, literally, showing complete apathy for the human condition. This makes him dangerous.

-Animal Communication and Potentially Mind Control. At 1:24 the Kool-Aid man is seen summoning several owls to him seemingly out of nowhere. Not only that, but he does this in the broad day light with a nocturnal animal. He can override the general thought processes of animals.

-Driving. At 2:10 a girl asks the Kool-Aid man if he can drive. He can.

-Goalie. At 2:32 The Kool-Aid man is demonstrated to be an adept soccer goalie due to his jar's handle.

-Enemy of the state. The Kool-Aid man is not afraid of the state and is shown assaulting police officers at 4:40. This likely means the Kool-Aid man doesn't pay state or federal taxes and thus will be richer than us, his opponents.

-Alchemy. At 5:00 The Kool-Aid man is demonstrated to create a Kool-Aid that is "icey-cool" but without ice. Only powerful alchemy can create something like this.

-Rodeo. At 5:29 The Kool-Aid man is shown beating Soda, his greatest foe, at a mechanical bull Rodeo. This means we cannot use angry cows against him in the battles to come.

-Shapeshifting. Right before his dimensional travel at 6:00 the Kool-Aid man transforms from a billboard into our standard view of the Kool-Aid man.

-Pulverization. At 6:30 the Kool-Aid man is shown pulverizing a child out of existence by shape shifting into her hat.

-Indestructability. This one is the most classic example of the Kool-Aid man. Walls do not stop such a being. His jar has never broken in spite of intensive strain.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Two Schools of Thought on Consciousness

In my intensive research on the topic I have discovered two general schools of thought on the consciousness and innate being of the Kool-Aid man. This is likely his primary weakness, and therefore where we must strike. The general consensus is that the Kool-Aid man derives his lifeform from either the liquid contained within him or the Jar containing the Kool-Aid. Both appear to be vital to the functioning of the Kool-Aid man, but with a being of such great power we must be cautious. Zombies are only defeated by their brains, how can we be sure that a Lovecraftian horror of far more power than zombies can be defeated without knowledge of his brain? As such I beg of you all to plea your cases, as will I, on the Kool-Aid man's true nature so we can all help save Almaris together should the time come. Only preparation can save us, the world must know if he is the Kool-Aid or the Jar.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    A Kase for The Kool-Aid

I begin by quickly diving into the Kool-Aid canon for basic Kool-Aid commercials. The most readily available collection of the Kool-Aid man's travels lies in this video which I shall place here again for the sake of convenience:

As such I shall draw much of my evidence from this collection. We begin at the beginning. In this ad, the Kool-Aid man refers to the jar as his own head. Within most anatomy, particularly anatomy that has similar biology to the Kool-Aid man has the brain of said species wrapped within the brain. This obviously clues us into the fact that what is contained within the Kool-Aid man's jar is in fact his brain and therefore his consciousness not the jar. Similarly at 0:20 we can see that as the Kool-Aid man dances at the middle school dance there is a brief frame where the Kool-Aid man's eyebrow exceeds the limits of the liquid contained within him as seen here:

     eyebrow.PNG.f7f0371bb83adf4ac9a48c54f9684107.PNG

This gives us verifiable proof that the facial features which, again, are primarily limited to the external head of beings sharing his anatomy, is in fact part of the jar and not the liquid. This furthers our idea the the Kool-Aid man's brain is contained within the liquid. Furthermore, we can also observe at 4:55 as the Kool-Aid man eats spicy salsa at the supermarket his stomach turns on fire. It is important to note that it is, in fact, the liquid that sets on fire and not the jar. This further lends to the argument that the liquid is his internal organs and thus likely contains his brain and therefore consciousness. I, of course, saved the most convincing evidence for the conclusion. At 5:58 we can see the Kool-Aid man demonstrate one of his most dangerous powers: shapeshifting. He transforms from a billboard into the Kool-Aid man and then proceeds to travel dimensions. The true take away from this is the Kool-Aid man's true form which can be seen prior to his transformation. As a billboard he operates solely as the red liquid inside of him. Only after does he add the jar to his appearance. This proves, what I believe to be, unequivocally that the jar is actually a distraction, a mislead to throw us off when he eventually travels to our dimension. We must ensure that when the time comes we are ready to destroy this liquid and not fall for the mistakes of the dimensions ahead of us who have likely fallen victim to the almighty power of the Kool-Aid man.

Please, I beg of you. Before he can come for us we must consolidate the knowledge about his true nature. We must be ready, so we can save LOTC. Now is the time to think of weaknesses other than his consciousness. Or argue where his consciousness truly lies. I am only an interpreter of facts. I don't truly know all of his weaknesses and powers. Help me. Help us. If he comes for us without proper preparation we are all doomed to eternal hell.

There is no room for error.

The Reforged Helm of Craein Goldhand

    A Lesson in Forgotten History

Current events have bid to me that the time has come for a truth my line and I have held secret for many a year. Growing up my father always told me of the lie many generations of Dwarves have been told. What the dwarves know of the great Golden clans is a lie. You see, as of now, it is believed that Tungdil Goldhand had 2 sons: Thoar Goldhand and Theodoric The Black. This, I am afraid, is not true. Before the birth of Thour Goldhand was another. Tungdil, you see, had a concubine. A dark elf by the name of Syllia. Tungdil and Syllia loved each other dearly and spent many a day together. One day, this Syllia discovered she was with child. She ran to her love, Tungdil, with great fear in her hear and told him of what had occurred. Tungdil, however, did not have fear in his heart for he knew that his son would be strong. He supported Syllia for many months until she gave birth to Tungdil's first son: Craein. Craein however, was a bastard son and was scorned. Tungdil, caring for his newborn son and lover, bid them to flee giving his son the name Greycast and an important task. One day the descendent of true son of Tungdil would rise and declare his heritage for all to know and reclaim the Goldhand line. On his deathbed Tungdil once again called Craein to his side and he came to hear his summons. On his deathbed Tungdil declared Craein Greycast to be his true heir, not the weak second son Thour. Craein, however, understood that he would not be believed by the fools court of Urguan. Alas, he let time go on, knowing that one day his heir would find the time to reveal to truth to the Dwarves.

    .

    The Truth

The legacy and story of Craein has disappeared with time. But Craein ensured that the final task of Tungdil would one day be carried out. Craein revealed the truth to his son, and his son's son and on. The truth has passed down the true line of Tungdil. As my father told me and his father before revealed to him I now reveal to you the truth of Tungdil's true heir. I, Craegorn Grimgold, am the true descendant of Tungdil and carry the true Goldhand line. Craein Goldhand was my Great-Great-Grandfather. With the marriage of my father to my mother Thelegurtha Grimgold, Daughter of Theodwin Grimgold, son of Balderic Grimgold, the Goldhand and Grimgold lines were reforged into one. The Grimgold line now bears the true firstborn blood of Tungdil Goldhand. The mummer Goldhands of Urguans modern court are naught but the sons of a fool and a liar. The time has come for the dwarves of Urguan to finally respect my line as it should be respected and recognize the Grimgold clan and my line as the true successors to Tungdil Goldhand. The time has come for my line to reclaim the true elder status that currently resides with the Goldhand clan and bring it to my own. The Grimgolds deserve what is rightfully ours and I, Craegorn Grimgold, will not stop until the true lineage of Tungdil Goldhand is recognized and understood by all Dwed of Urguan for no longer can I stomach the lies of Thour Goldhand and his decendants.

As such, I am out to announce that I have compiled the tunes of old from all corners of the kingdom, and some abroad, into two forms of pipe music: Glymja Varekan and Glymja Ahran or in common: Light music and Big music. This new anthology of tunes will serve as a base to teach those new to the art and those who think they know what they are doing but are horribly mistaken.

The defined art of playing the bagpipes is far more delicate than many presume. The brash nature of those who play it and in the manner they often play it gives it a reputation not befitting of skill required to balance the acute balance of simultaneous power and precision. If any of those who don't know what they are doing seek to learn the fine balance come seek me out and I would appreciate being able to spread the art in the way it was meant to be played.

If you do choose to find me, be prepared to begin your work on a practice chanter, as I teach the proper way, I am willing to make and sell them to you by my own hand or you may come with your own if you like. Understand that finding the balance of power and precision requires much work and many years of study. The theory behind it all requires even more. While I hope to have eased the process through the standardization of movements such as taorluaths and leumluaths it is still an intense study.

    OOC:

    Spoiler

I'm a bagpiper irl and as such its my eternal duty to constantly mock various media form's showing and representation of bagpipes. I have literally only seen one movie ever that has gotten the basics right. Anyway, I figured I might as well see LOTC have properly represented bagpipes if I'm here. I've seen some... incorrect rp surrounding them so I said to myself why not fix it since I'm here. I'll be teaching actual bagpipe music theory and methods if you're interested.

Fun Fact: Glymja Varekan and Glymja Ahran aren't just names I made up, they're the dwarven names for the 2 main categories of bagpipe music: Ceol Beag and Ceol Mor/Piobaireachd.
