  1. The Delmar comes across such a missive, his gaze scanning over the writings. "They've now taken half the fun out of it! Oh well, I suppose those four nations shall be grand grounds to sell to." With that, the foul and eccentric merchant, began to ponder a discount for the remainder of the coming years, to those who might seek some sickly safety, from the foreseeable tide of purist cannonists. All for the coin, of course...

  2. A Gilded Greeting

[!] Throughout the lands of the coastal elves, various plagued and undead creatures would arrive at their doorstep. Dried parchment held tightly upon the ghastly undead familiars, some akin to snakes, others rats, and others being half rotten crows. All of which would be stamped with the following sigil.

    Greetings Amathine and Kaethul

It is with great delight that we, the Murkwater Merchant Company, offer forth a grand welcome to your kin and kind. We pray that you’ve enjoyed the delights of our dreaded entertainment, these specimens have not graced descendent kinds in a very long time, after all. Boggens are only legends in the minds of the young descendent, a story to warn the world not to leave your dead about.

Of course, I’m sure that is not the only delight you’ve witnessed or heard about. The attacks upon the Merchant City of Kaethul, the occasional attacks upon Ilivara ages past. All such attacks were done by my great company. With that said however, we are not mindless, we are not enacting some petty violence upon your people for little reason. Nor do we bend the knee to pitiful demons and their slaves. We are the working damned, where coin cut deals are much better than a blade. Which perhaps makes you wonder, why do we care to enact such brutality to you elven folk?

Simple, because we were paid too, and because of our payment. We shall continue to do so for the foreseeable future, that is, unless you wish to do something about it? Like I’ve mentioned, we have risen the damned, and employed our own creations to attack. But that does not mean we aren’t willing to strike a deal.

The choice is yours, payment or plague.

    Signed

  3. The Delmar sits upon his throne of ebony stone, the candlelight coming to reflect against the opulent crystals that adorned the great bauble. His eyes opened, the bejeweled glint starting to shine outwards, focused in on that great beast that rested upon the ceiling. "Let that which is destined to be, arise once more"

  4. The distant tides of the dead clambered into the psyche of the Farscryer, clawing and wailing to be given second chance.

Some where aimless, mindless in their desire to live

Others called from the distant realm, seeking that which had brought them deep below, a death in return.

Yet all such pleas' where ignored, for only the pitiful pleas' of those that sought proper power came to be heard

A meeting was made, whispers upon the wind, as the Crows Court came to plan. A sole question would come to be asked, an offer granted, to the helpless and wishful.

"Care to make a Deal with a Delmar?"

  5. The dastardly Delmar would find himself relaxing upon the seaside outpost, his gaze scanning over the missive, before a nod of his head was given.  A hefty slurp taken from his glass of mixed wine. "So that's where it went, how curious; Oh well, it seems the north is going to be a bit more intriguing."

there is no mention of allowing aesthetics or warped adjustments for the Ghoul CA. thus I cannot approve of such. Please adjust your aesthetic of what your creature will look like.

It's just boneforging and flesh molding, found in Necromancer  Corpsecrafting. Adds no combative advantage whatsoever and is just aesthetic

Example of a ghoul who has been altered most likely in a similar fashion.

    The Final Fight

    47f31a55ff696c4132865624954c37a2.jpg

It was the heavy sound of Brenaris' boots against the blackened steps of the Gashadokuros' fortress, that truly resounded throughout the empty marshlands. The tired rasp of the old Highlander, ringing out as he stood at the entrance to that terrible stronghold. His dulled green gaze, staring upwards at the terrible keep, his mind rushing with ideas of what lay inside. Yet that mattered little to the aged Templar, for as he stood there in all of his armored glory, his charred vocals resonated throughout the wicked forest.

"Reveal yourself, agents of Iblees, and combat me in a glorious duel!" Silence rang throughout the place, perhaps only the bugs and beasts of the realm hearing his cries for combat. A look of disgust gracing the mans marred visage, only for a newly spoken voice to reveal itself within the occult bastion.

"What do you want! Its Ibleesmas eve!" A figure donning chitinous armor armor, and holding carefully kept equipment, stood at the top of the stronghold. Several undead minions, already starting to deliver down a rope for the warrior to descend down on, the armored warrior looking to Brenaris with a veiled expression of boredom.

"I seek a Duel to the Death." The voice of the candid crusader rang out, causing the acolyte to burst into a fit of laughter.

"YOUR JOKING!" A chorus of cackles erupted, though the silence from the golden fisted, led to that laughter diminishing. The warrior shaking their head, as they drew forth their shield, and an arming sword, the warrior lowering into a defensive stance.  "Suit yourself.

The moment those words began, so did the battle commence, a song of brutality and zealous fury. The shield of the chitinous warrior was broken in first, dented and cracked from the might of the Templar, forcing them to drop barrier. Though this only lead to an onslaught of aurum fury, a set of punches set to the visage of the masked mali. Causing the helm to crack and dent from the continuous force, the shield and polearm coming to clatter onto the ground. The weapon still frothing with glorious white flame.

"Owyns' fury guide my hand, and allow me to cleanse this wretched worshipper!A prayer sang out, as the man released the weapon, his armor cut and slashed into. The chainmail coming to screech from the metallic weaponry that cut at it; such a noise that was quickly quelled by the flying weaponry, the white flamed instrument of the Angul, gripped tightly in hand as he sent it downwards towards the blade of the arming sword. The edged weapon, causing a noticeable crack into the wooden pole of the halberd.

"YOUR.GOD.IS.A.VOIDAL.BEHEMOTH!The chitinous warrior screeched in delirium, stumbling about, as they fumbled on their back for a weapon of ivory craft. The bone spear, clutched in her left hand, was sent directly the crack once more. Another strike coming to crack into the polearm of the weapon, though that hindered it little as the weapon was raised in courageous defiance. The axe-head sent down towards the shoulder, a horrendous noise filling the air as it landed.

"I shall not believe your LIES!" Another ting could be heard, the Mali managing to thrust the spear upwards, the polearms defense of it final, as the weapons pole came to crack into two. The axe-head however, still remained lodged into the shoulder of the warrior, the white flame still frothing from it. "MAY HIS LIGHT GUIDE!"

A wretched flop was heard, the screams of the chitinous warrior singing out as she lost that limb, so much so that the Templar found himself distracted. It was not until he felt the ichor dribble down his cheek, that he felt the stinging pain of the spear that had pierced into his cheek. A hot and fiery rage began to fill his spirit and being, his rage clouding all judgement, all thought. It was merely the action, the commands in which the Angul had inscribed into his very being. To cleanse and kill the remaining Darkspawn that lingered in this land.

The sound of panting and screaming, brought his attention back towards the fight, the armored warrior shuffling backwards down the stairs. The man merely lurching his arm back as he rushed on forward, the weapon drawn to toss the shattered blade into the side of their skull. The soft crunch of that metal burying into the fleeing warrior, starting to calm the senses some, though his mind was still afflicted to the violent rage. He felt himself step back, his hands coming together to ball into a great mighty fist, his form lurching forward. His full weight brought forth, as he readied to slam his twinned fists into the back of that dying, perhaps dead warrior of the dark. He felt rightous, true, and proud. Knowing that even with his aged person, he still could provide as a guiding light for the Lord of Courage. It was all so real, so vivid, so-

    Crack

    ...

    Epilogue

The Elf awoke in a pile of blood and grass, their gaze lifting upwards some, as they would find themselves in a groggy state still. Yet despite such, it would only be them, the foul and the wretched that would lay witness to the cruel display that had become of the once Templar.  Perhaps they would spin this into a grand tale, or perhaps they would keep this encounter a secret, whatever was the case. What once had been shield to the realms of Canondom, now lay upon the ground as new fertilizer for the faithless.

This was a long time coming for him, played him on occasion, sadly didn't have much to do with him. Though I hope to replace his slot with something else, excited for the rp to come and hope that those that interacted with him had a good time/experience. Had lots of fun during the Lector Excavation eventline and the various Inquisitor stuff I did with him.

Thanks to @ThatFunkyBunchfor the fun crp

This doesn't really feel to me, like it is actually a negative trade off. As The Delmer currently has 5 slots taken, with Necromancer and Seer. This refunds the 4, and locks him at Three. However if The Delmer gets a second alot in Seer, it doesn't actually negatively effect him unless he does the third slot for teaching. As The Delmer can take the second alot without actually having any additional cost. It just says that he has 3 slots dedicated to Seer. And getting the Rite of Sanctioning doesn't cost him an additional alot. Imo I think it should cost him an additional slot. He can dedicate it to Seer regardless. Making it so if The Delmar wanted to teach Seer, it would be 5 slots

Yo no worries, yeah to best explain it, Seer is at max atm a 2 slot magic. This MArt would not only force it to occupy 3 slots, but also gives all the detriments of a rite of Sanctioning without getting any of the added benefits.

    So example

Normal seer; only has 3 sanctions at max

Reynard; has 4 sanctions at max.

Which also means that afterwords I would only have 2 of the original four slots restored and able to be used for other routes

just make a new character man it’s ok to move on

I 100% could, but that doesn't at all make a story or create a cool narrative, whether this gets denied or accepted. Cool rp is still coming out of this imo, and it just leaves to other potential routes.

Why merely control the wheel, when one could control the entire machine that is Fate!

The Delmar has done a sacrilegious act, in an attempt to free himself from the control of the Heith-Hedran, a foul pact has been forged with the Faceless God, one that would fill the ever flowing rift that lingers within the soul of the Corpsecrafter with an eternal fledgling spy. One whose goal, forever shall be to transform its reviled host.

This will cause the center of his chest to become malformed and twisted, for now a multitude of sickly monstrous eyes, and squirming tendrils coming to writhe and twist within its center, the essence of such a thing causing a sense of dread and anxiety to befall any who stare upon it.

    Spoiler

    Effects of the Artifact

    The Prerequisite

The Faceless God does not give his gifts without something in return, as such before Reynard can properly attain his full blessing, three conditions must be set

    1. 10 total individuals must be Sown/Cultivated by the Seer.

    2. The Seer must cultivate fallacy within one prominent leader

    3. Two grand displays of chaos must be manifested/coordinated

Upon the success of these three tasks, the deal will be fulfilled, and he will find himself blessed as the host for a fledgling witness. While of course free from the whims of the damned, he is instead host and servant to a greater and more secretive lord.

    Redlines

    Spoiler

-A total of 10 total players/individuals must be sown and/or cultivated in total, when such has been achieved it is important that a doc is compiled of every individual.

-The sowing of a realms or nations ruler does not count towards the first task, due to the importance of such a task

-Two grand displays of chaos must have actual worldly impact, such as the use of the Ritual of Menadacity, the creation of an Abomination, the destruction of a cultural artifact, or so on. It's important that before doing anything, these tasks are verified with ST to determine the validity and impact of such.

-While he may gain the effects and detriments of the ‘Eternal Cause’, he may not however, gain the other three effects of the MArt until all three tasks have been completed.

    The Heretics Barrier

Through both a metaphysical and physical bond, the former Necromancer has managed to return to who he once was before he was turned. For the actions of the youth are often reckless and unknowing, however actions do indeed bar consequences. While his soul has been partially restored, nothing can ever reverse the years of that hole being torn open, as such only 2 of the original 4 slots of magic are returned to the user. In addition, the other two slots are now dedicated permanently towards the Faceless God. Lastly, his mind has been permanently altered to reflect such a strain and change, his mental ideology molded to reflect this innate hatred and fear for death and its company.

    Redlines

    Spoiler

-In the act of placing a Witness  within the arts of the Heith-Hedran, he has inherently bound it further to himself and the flow of his lifeforce. Should ST wish, this act can be further explored and utilized in the future

-This would permanently drop Rh’thoraen Necromancy for Reynard Pharamir Delmar, forever holding an inability to access such on the character.

-While such an act would restore 2 slots, it would permanently pact 2 additional slots to the Faceless God(Making the character have 3 total slots dedicated to the entity).

-While he is forced to have 3 slots filled, this does not grant the benefits of a second sanction, only the detriments of such. However, should he undergo a second sanction, he may do so without the cost of an additional slot.

-This grants the same detriments and cost as the Rite of Sanctioning, however grants none of the benefits of another sanctioning

-For this delusion/fallacy the fear shall be Thanatophobia;  an intense fear of his own death or the dying process.

-For each new sanction, the seer will gain an additional new Fallacy/Anxiety, thus leaving the Seer with 4 total new delusions, should they ever wish to attain a TA

-This Artifact can be utilized as a Sewn object allowing one to Cast through it while the writhing mass is exposed.

-Follows all Sow Fallacy and Sewn Items redlines

    The Craftsman's Curse

As a result of his rejection of the Heith-Hedrans craft, the former necromancer has found his physical self still marred by use. As a result, his physical appearance is restricted to that of a T2 Necromancer, in addition his body is only able to sustain 1 Greater Tawkin Mutation. Additionally, due to the ingrained addiction, Reynard would need to consume 1 unit of Liquid Lifeforce every 1 OOC month, otherwise he would fall into a state of crippling madness and hunger. Lastly, with his connection almost entirely severed from the Heith-Hedran, his death holds far more permanence now.

    Redlines

    Spoiler

-Reynard is limited to bearing 1 Tawkin Mutation, unable to attain or gain any more. This Mutation can be removed or changed, should one do the proper roleplay.

-The use of Alteration Alchemy, Sprogs Elixir, and Minor Mutations may be used, however such would need to be reapplied once every OOC week.

-Reynard would permanently bear features considered older, such as crow eyes, graying and salted hair, slight bags under the eyes, ect.

-Reynard, while returning to completely mundane albeit frailer descendent form, would remain infertile due to the corruptive forces that came with harboring a necromancer's soul.

-Reynard would need to imbibe and drink liquid Lifeforce, once every OOC Month, otherwise his psyche will become shattered and maddened and a constant hunger would fill him until he next imbibed in liquid lifeforce.

-Lastly, due to his knowledge and understanding of death and revival, Reynard would be barred from grace by the monks. This would force him onto one last remaining life. This PK clause may be circumvented through the likes of becoming a Klone, Inferi, Draugar, or any other compatible CA with Seer. In addition, death via forced initiated PVP will not trigger this clause

    The Withered Witness

Through sealing the very scar that resides within the soul, and through implanting a physical fledgling witness into Reynard's body, a new being has begun to be born. A chimeric abomination of Descendent and Witness, born from the selfish desire to pursue a higher esoteric power. As such, not only shall he forever deal with the physical fledgling, melded within his torso. But also with the perpetual psychic battering of commands and orders it ushers. Such only being able to be sated through the constant sowing and disharmony of Descendent kind.

With this in mind, Reynard Delmar  is required to cultivate fallacy 1 individual every 6 OOC weeks, in order to properly distribute and sow disharmony within the realms of the Descendants

    Redlines

    Spoiler

-This is a unique abomination, lending to the Faceless God to command, Quest, or challenge the bearer of his essence. This can be done through the likes of Seer ST and ST Managerial approval.

-The physical mass of the Witness is unable to be hidden through other magics, the only way to disguise such being through the Rite of Identity, or via applying heavy clothing over the area. This physical change will not diminish either, should he find himself in a new body, the fledgling manifesting upon the body once he transfers.

-This mass is purely aesthetic, unable to be utilized in any form of combat, unless through the likes of being utilized as a Sown Object or acting as flavor for Invisible Hands of God

-The host is required to cultivate fallacy upon 1 individual every six OOC weeks, this is to appease the Faceless God. Failure to do so, will cause Delmar to be locked out of all of his Magics, save for the ability to Cultivate and Sow Fallacy.

    The Eternal Cause

As one might expect, there is always a price to pay for becoming one with a sacred tool, as such a few of the remnant intentions of the device remain prevalent within the seer. Allowing him to aid his brethren to some degree, rather than completely utilize the artifact in a selfish cause.

Of course, there is no true kinship in this, and thus a failsafe is put into all of the Faceless Gods creations. Should he prove unworthy of his gifts, those of a more controlled creed, may be able to take away the mass that lies within him. Should a total of 3 TA bearing sears, and 3 Oculi holders, come together. They may attempt to do a freeform ritual to pry the mass away, returning it to its former state, and permanently disconnecting the character from Seerdom

    Redlines

    Spoiler

-Reynard gains access to three of the functions of the Oculi, the first being able to communicate with other holders of the oculi. This is changed, through seeing within #8 around the seer, being able to determine the surroundings he resides in.

-Any attempt to contact the magus must be answered within a private room, unable to be utilized in the midst of combat.

-Reynard is unable to change the shape of the  mass, following all rulings of the ‘Withered Witness’

-Should Reynard be present in a attempt to pull forth a prophecy, he may count as 1 Oculi for the required amount

-While the taking of the artifact does not require IRP consent, OOC consent is required to fully relinquish the object, good faith rp is expected to be had when doing this.

    Redlines of the Artifact

    Spoiler

-This Artifact does not grant Reynard anymore information or info about Vaasek, Witnesses, or the true origin of seer magicks.

-While the MArt is Pending, Reynard Delmar(_Vaasek) will lose access to the Oculi and its abilities.

-The Oculi is only destroyed/transformed should the MArt come to pass; should this MArt be denied, then the Oculi will return to its original state prior to the ritual

-This MArt would permanently disconnect Reynard Delmar(_Vaasek) from his Rh’thoraen Necromancy MA/TA

-This MArt would permanently remove an additional 2 slots away from the character, permanently connecting him with 3 slots devoted to Vaasek.

-This would return 2 of the four slots lost when bound to Rh’thoaen Necromancy.

-This MArt follows all redlines and rulings for normal seer, should the individual break any of the Tenants, he will follow the same consequences as any other seer.

-Should Reynard Delmar be PK’d, the character will forever be under the control and domain of Vaseek, his remnant soul becoming another Witness for the Faceless God to use. This effect is put into play, even if he is disconnected from the magic in life.

-This permanently restricts Reynard from becoming the likes of anything, such as a Wight, Darkstalker, or anything not compatible with seer.

    Explanation of the Artifact:

    Spoiler

Three things have been done to attempt this MArt, the first of which the Oculi has been turned into a knife, and coated in lifeforce. Much how one is ordained into the Craft of the Heith-Hedran, an inverse has been done, an attempt to seal the very soul back shut. Through this act, and unknowingly until complete, Reynard has fused the object and witness into himself. Causing it to act as a cork, within the wellspring of lifeforce that inhabits him. This stabilization is only further attempted, through the use of Rh’thoraen Necromancy Cauterization from the Necromancer, so as to physically bind the object to himself.

The Ritual of Sanctioning cast from two TA bearing Seers, so as to further connect and enhance his ties  to his current and newly bound witness. as well as the ritual of Consecration from fellow 2/1 slotted Seers, so as to bind the witness within him.  This in turn would seal the gap within his soul, binding and cementing his bond forevermore to the whims of the Faceless God and his agents.
