My countrymen, like you I’ve read dozens of documents published by both Everadines and Josephites alike. While these documents vastly differ in substance, they are actually quite similar. The documents either make vague promises or promise dire consequences if the other party is given a majority.

I am writing to inform you that these words are complete hogwash. The average Oreners life is not going to drastically change no matter which party is elected. While both parties parade different policies, both operate under royal assent and could not make extreme changes without approval from His Imperial Majesty. And as GOD’s chosen representative, we know that His Imperial Majesty will not let your life be negatively impacted by the convening assembly.

Now you must be confused, why should you even vote if neither party will be able to make major changes? Well, while neither party can make drastic changes to your way of life, they can still make small changes. Because of this, you must vote for the party that best reflects your values. One party is primarily made up of burghers and aristocrats. This party is proudly supported by a family that has singlehandedly monopolized Helena’s economy, making it much harder for men like myself to provide for our families. The other party, The Everadines, are made up of hardworking men who do not come from political backgrounds. I myself am a local merchant who employs a small group of miners, and has spent a small amount of time working for the Ministry of Justice. I will be on my parties list this upcoming election, as will many with a similar background to mine. We embody the spirit of Oren, a land of opportunity for every man. A constitution for a new Nation

Xavier Vallat addresses the people before the old parliamentary building, donning his traditional military uniform look. “Men of France, People of the world, I stand here to announce a constitution for a new age of this Empire. Finally the upper house is exclusively appointed by a special military commission. The primary duty of the lower house is to create laws while the upper house approves laws and has impeachment power. All candidates must either be veterans or have permission from a special military council. As a nation with conscription few are expected to lose voting rights. The Disgrace of Lyon has galvanized the French People not only against communism but behind their leader, Prime Minister Vallat.
