Hello everyone. I thought I would post a little update on the happenings of my life. For anyone interested, my laptop's hard drive decided to go out for the second time in four years. Anyway, I've been running Ubuntu from a flash drive, so I don't have access to Minecraft or anything like that, as I was hoping to rejoin LotC eventually. Anyway, I'll be purchasing a new laptop with my graduation money soon. (Suggestions would be accepted. I'm leaning away from standard PC as I've had loads of problems in the past to a MacBook Pro.) But, to my main point: I mentioned previously that I've been struggling with depression over the last few years. I'm pleased to tell you guys that for some unknown reason a few weeks ago, it all stopped. I don't know what it was, but it's like a switch was flipped, and it's all gone. I honestly haven't felt this at peace with myself since before middle school, which is a really odd feeling for me. I once again want to thank the people here for their laughs and support, and I hope to be joining the community again once my laptop is ordered. Thank you for reading this if you did, Briamoth

Just want to say thank you to all of those who have replied thus far. This community has honestly been a huge part of keeping me somewhat positive when everything else failed to do so. That, in itself, means the world to me.

Hi. Dean (Robin Drake/the bearded fellow) recently reminded me of this place. I had seemingly forgotten it, and you may have forgotten me. I'm really not sure. I do know that, for months, LotC was place of peace and serenity for me. The members here are some of the best people I've met on the entire Internet. I'm not sure how many of them are remaining, but I do remember thatpyrodude, shiftnative, the aforementioned Robin Drake, and GemmyLou. While I know for sure there are others, these people and those not mentioned are extremely nice and helpful people. I want to thank them for what they did, both purposefully and on accident, because it helped me through a lot of stuff. This doesn't contain a lot of detail, but I'll put the sad stuff in a spoiler tag here: Anyway, despite all of that stuff, I've managed to keep my life in fairly good shape. Pretty much everything I could control has gone well. I still have a couple of friends who I can count on if I need them. School is going well, and I'm attending the Honors College of my local university on a $50,000 scholarship this fall. I'm very much looking forward to the future because there is nothing of the past that I want to remember. I've said all of that to say this: thank you to the members of this community because, if not for you guys, I might not be where I am now. For months, you guys were my best friends, and while it may seem like a terrible, sad story that I'm telling for sympathy, I'm not. I just want to say, "thank you" from the bottom of my heart. Hello all! Well, I don't know exactly what to say here. I've been gone for a long time. Honestly, I'm not sure if anyone even remembers me. I've been dealing with quite a lot over the past year, and honestly, leaving here was probably the worst idea because it left me with no one to talk to. However, I have mostly got my life in order now, and I've been getting back into gaming lately, so I figured I would try to come back here. Not a lot left to say, but if you remember me at all, it would be nice to see who all is still around. -Briamoth
