unfortunaly, we need these taxes, ((because Enor cant spawn his own)) these taxes are 100% necessary now, we need more money on the royal coffers

*you find a poster* From the desk of Seneschal Khronos, on behalf of King enor Greetings citizens of oren. as those of you who live in alkhazar know, the taxes have begun to be placed into affect. the suggested tax idea (by mr therving, ((mylimo7)) that he gave me) is I think the taxes are just right, though they should be increased by a little. If my calculations are correct the tax rate is 1%. Meaning that For every building at the cost of 25k will have a estimated 250$ tax at our current rates. I purpose inceasing the tax rate by 1% so being that, a 25k building will be 500 every first seed. (each week) so like other some buildings in the slums would be 300 for a 15k building. I need to look at our records to fully develope this system. 30% of the taxes will be used on pays for guards, military, and defense. 35% would be used to develope the economy of th nation. 15% would help construct, reconstruct, and demolish buildings. 10% would help neighboring Oren cities. 5% will cover the pay checks for royal workers. EXAMPLE: Say we make 30,000 from taxes... 10k would help the defense of Oren\Al'khazar. 10,500 would help support the economy (trading, buying, selling, etc.) 3,000 will go to local Oren cities and will help them flourish, defend, and trade with nations on it's own. 3,500 will help rebuild houses and districts. The last five percent will cover the pay for royal workers. before you say anything, this wasnt mine and enors idea! we just want to hear youre views on the tax system, how much we should charge, and what it should be used for, please comment here with your ideas Thank you Khronos On behalf of king enor

Enor's a good king, hes new, let him get to grips with the job before you critise! the succession can be adressed later, but for now give him a chance! personally id like enor to stay a while, oren needs a stable king in order to prosper, let enor be this king. If anyone isnt happy with this, as seneschal i'll be happy to sort out whatever problem it is that you have

RIGHT its decided. ive got llike 50% of the votes. my commandn as seneschal is that you wait 9 days!! then ill actually be here and able to sort this mess out wth all of you. if i had achoice, id keep enor, but thats just me isnt it.... we need to give enor another chance, i really dont think i should take the crown, thats up to you as the people why did this have to happen now

in enors place? well etablish proper control, but really? theres nothing to be done about kraemoroe, the owners sold it to the orcs

until the military one decides to take power, or the economy one becomes corrupt, basically like modern governments, we'd all fall apart and destory the nation

despite my own preconceptions, i would not support a republic anymore, iv seen how awful we are with running things, we cant agree anymore ((going back to what char said, let enor see it, but i will not evn CONSIDER it until november the first, when ill be back on the game and forums. ill be in the lands or egypt, sand, without orcs :D but i wont be IG, so give him until then please, if your still unhappy then, ill sort something)) many thanks for your support though, it means a lot to think that people like me and think i could do a good job :') paha))

((i guess so, but nobody sees what i do behind the scenes ;) people didnt realise that ive been doing a fair amount, as well as the reason that we arent at war with the orcs :L: down to felix and tamara alone, we would be :L then oren would just fall. you have to remember that i spend all the time i can doing my IG duties :L but i guess you havent seen that stuff? i cant do everything enor can, like regions, and full diplomacy, and sorting the economy out, sorting taxes and homes, READING ALL THESE APPLICATIONS FOR JOBS -.- so many people... just dont judge people on all you see as theyre online and in public, and certainly dont base an opinion on what you see them doing in public, when they arent working cheers))

If you were to replace enor, who would you raise? Maybe we should give enor a chance, if not, there can be some decision, i vote we give him until ((1st of november)) if by then, you still arent happy, you can preach what you wish (Snazzy, out of interest, what is the mindset of a king? surely popularity is the key to it? not saying i want the throne here.... just making that clear))
