Phog

*Lore* Long ago, when the world was young, there was a small mountain-home. This place was a fortress called Karak-Dron. Karak-Dron was inhabited by a clan of dwarfs known as the Snowbeards. The Snowbeards were known as some of the greatest miners and jewelers in all of Aegis. Their halls were coated in bright gold and glittered with the bright twinkle of diamond. But they were also feared as some of the greatest warriors in all the dwarf kingdom. The great Ironbreakers were the fiercest warriors in all the Snowbeard clan. They were relentless in battle and would give their life for the safety and welfare of the people of Karak-Dron. Life in Karak-Dron was a good one, but the something unimaginable happened, it was attacked. A large group of Goblins descended from the high in the mountain. There were thousands upon thousands of them; a never ending sea of green. The gates of Karak-Dron were closed, and the crossbowman took their positions. The battle lasted for many days, with hundreds of goblins being struck down, but it was all for not. Eventually, the goblins broke through the outer gates of Karak-Dron, pouring in like water through flood-gates. The goblins charged through the grand halls of Karak-Dron, slaying all they found, and slandering the walls with blood and symbols of goblin dark magic. The Ironbreakers decided to barricade the doors of the inner keep, waiting for their inevitable death by the hands of the goblin menace. The Ironbreakers held off the goblins for as long as they could, allowing a small number of Snowbeards to escape through a small escape tunnel out of the mountains. One of those dwarfs was the young dwarf Thorin Snowbeard. As Thorin ran out of the mountain he could hear the cackle of goblins behind him and he could see the smoke rising from the mountains as the goblins sat the city ablaze, burning what the Snowbeards had worked so long to attain. As Thorin ran, he made himself a promise. He told himself that one day, he would reunite the Snowbeard clan and bring it back to its former glory, and he would reclaim Karak-Dron, for his people. The remaining Snowbeards were scattered amongst the lands of Aegis. Most of the original Snowbeards are now dead, but many of their ancestors still remain, most not even knowing of the Snowbeard blood that runs in their veins. Now Thorin is calling them all together, to take back what is theirs and restore the clan to its former glory! *The Heraldry* Our clan's heraldry is very special. Each thing represents something. The gryphon in the middle is the animal of our clan. the gryphon also represents honor. The two crossed axes is to represent our great warriors and our fallen heroes. The two crosses on each side represent freedom and courage, the two values that every Snowbeard knows to live by. the colors of blue and gold are our clans colors. *Our Clan* Our clan is run by a council of four elders. The four elders are myself, and the council members for the Ironbreakers, Miners, and the People. As soon as we have enough members, we will have election for the council members. Everyone will be voting on everything we do, but Elders will have meetings to discuss and coordinate different things. *Elders* Head Elder/ Leader: Leads the clan in all they do Ironbreaker Elder: Commands the Ironbreakers of our clan. Miner Elder: Helps to control the economy of our clan and keep our stockpiles full of supplies. Also coordinates all building, mining and merchanting operation in our clan. Elder of the People: Helps the council figure out what the people of the clan would like to see happen. His vote on everything counts for 2 *Rules* 1. Always listen to higher ranking clan members. 2. Be prepared to give your life for the clan or for freedom 3. Always be courageous 4. Protect the weak 5. Never back down 6.Do not break any serious laws (murder, stealing, griefing etc.) If ye think ye may be of Snowbeard blood, then post this application on this 'ere message board. Har har! Ye make meh chuckle lad! Fine I be banished! Just let this be a lesson to meh fellow dwarfs. If ye wish to 'ave any freedom at all stay out of Kal'Urguan, because ye will get banished fer speakin yer mind!

I said that I thought that the King was not doing his job very well. I went into detail involving him and his high council not being able to complete their jobs in a way that is satisfactory to our kingdom. I said that if things continued like this that Kal'Urguan would fall (to the Undead, who I am not associated with) and burn. I also mentioned how many innocent people would die, including the families of those present. I never threatened anyone. All I did was speak my mind. Then, when I was in jail, I was yelling how I thought there ought to be more freedom in our kingdom. Free speech at the least. I was trying to get people to believe that there ought to be some democracy in our kingdom. The High Council and King choose all the laws and what not, but the common dwarf has no say. The King chooses the High Council from who he wants to, not who the people want. Seems a bit unfair to me.....

*You are walking along a forest path when you happen upon a note stuck to a tree. You begin to read the note.* Today, great injustice has occurred! A dwarf by the name of Thorin Snowbeard was executed! Now in the city of Kal'Urguan, the execution of a dwarf is a common thing, but this time it was different! Thorin did nothing wrong! All he did was speak his mind about what he thought of the king and how he was running the kingdom. He said that he thought the kingdom would fall and the city would burn! But, he never made a direct threat to anybody! So, fellow dwarfs, I want you to think! Do you want to live a kingdom where speaking your mind and having independent ideas is unlawful? Just something to think about....

This is all OOC Me and Barin have done more for this kingdom, than you probably ever will. Barin DID do the reconstructions. He planned the reconstruction, and was there overseeing most of it. I built a whole new army from the ground up. We now have a successful military with roughly 20 active soldiers, all thanks to me. Honestly, your are being kind of a jerk to me and Brian. Just lets us have tombs. Its a game, and in the end, its not gonna matter one bit.

*You are walking through on the Kings Road when you see a small engraved stone and a mound of dirt by the side of the road. You move closer, your curiosity sparked by this odd scene. You read what the stone says "Here Lies Lord Marshall Phog, slain by me, the bandit Algor. I have buried his body here as a warning to all travelers. Be warry of the Kings Road, for you never know when you will see me." You walk away from the stone, a bit worried, but nonetheless, you continue down the road on your way, feeling a bit sad for the loss of such a great warrior and leader.* OOC: ((For various reasons, I will be playing a new character.
