Personally, I feel people shouldn't be chastised for trying to pursue RP that interests them.

((We have just found peace with Renautus and we do not plan to incite another war. I'm sure some Sariants will be there, but Hanseti will not "officially" be there. At least that is my understanding of things.))

That makes sense, but it is so boring. I would like to see some actual well-thought-out and in depth Lore about the sub-races.

Here is some Lore from the wiki page that is not in your Lore. I just think yours and the wiki's should agree. I would be happy to help you write some Dwarvern Lore if you would like the help. I was thinking that Urguan could have had three sons, and each son was the first of their own sub race. But that is just my idea.

This looks like a pretty good start to some lore. I feel it needs to be fleshed out a lot more for it to be complete. *EDIT* Also, I think you should probably read the wiki before you write this. Your Lore conflicts with the official wiki Lore.

I would be open to some kind of language like the Orcs where certain phrases replace English, but English is still used. The system in this video seems much too complicated. I am not up for learning an entire new language just for a game.

You should travel to Konigsberg and take up residence there. There are huge wheat fields you can sow.

((That was a personal matter between myself and the person that I stole from. I will admit that I did steal and I did do something wrong. But I settled it with him in game, and no GM involvement was even needed. That was a long time ago and I have moved past that. Honestly I think that comment is an inappropriate one. I was just trying to spark a debate amongst my fellow Dwarves about Alras, not have people laugh at what I posted for something a did a long time ago. *While walkin' through Kal'Urguan, you spot a small piece of paper attached to a usually empty notice board. You waddle over to the board to read the small piece of parchment. It reads* Dwarves of Kal'Urguan! I am disappointed in you! The atrocities committed in Alras were truly despicable. I thought that we were an honorable race, but I guess I was wrong. We are no better then the bloody Orcs. I remember the days when fighting a war was a thing of honor, and I think the rest of the first generation Dwarves will agree with me. It used to be that ye would fight, and no matter if ye won or lost, ye still carried yerself with dignity. I now see that this has been lost. We win a small skirmish in Alras, and what do I see? I see the entire army prancing about the city like new born elves. I see that not only as conduct un-befitting of an army, but also un-befitting of any Dwarf in general. I doubt very many of ye lads remember them, but in the beginning days we had two very righteous and noble kings, Charles and Simpa. They were the two best kings Kal'Urguan has ever seen. And how do we honor their former kingdom? By committing virtual crimes of war in Alras. I say this is unacceptable. We need to honor their name by fighting with the honor and valor that they showed when they led us into battle. So, if ye agree with me and ye wish to see the Dwarves return to a people of honor, then please, do something for me. Do not fight. Do not fight for the government that condones such heinous acts. Wait until they offer a formal apology to Alras for what has been done. Also, I personally would like to see the government try and re-adopt the ways of old. Let's return honor back to the Dwarves. Well I may not be active in Kal'Urguan, but I still care about the RP of our race as a whole. I challenge all the Dwarves on this server to improve RP and clean it up a little. We as a race have a lot of potential to create an awesome RP environment, and as soon as the new map is released I feel like we can do that. The Dwarves just need to organize all of the ideas together and choose the best ones. We need to decide on a religion, what to do about the clans, and generally what kind of Dwarves are we. Are we similar to WoW Dwarves or Dwarf Fortress Dwarves? These are the kinds of decisions that need to be made before the new map is released. (this isn't to say that everyone has to RP exactly like a certain kind of Dwarf, but we do need to decide what Dwarvern society will be looking like in 2.0)

There are enough guilds, clans and sub-factions already. Why dont't we as a race try and focus more on the ones we have instead of creating a new one every 5 minutes. I don't mean to rant but this is getting ridiculous. Everyone needs to calm down with all this guilds and clans stuff. Not everyone can be the leader of their very own clan/guild. Some people just have to accept that they are not leaders and I think many of the Dwarves are having trouble understanding this. Overall I think all this shenanigans is hurting the RP of the Dwarves. The reason the Orcs have such good RP is because they keep it simple. I think we need to be heading more in that direction, but it seems that we are going the opposite way. RP for the Dwarves is almost too complicated to really work. Again I don't mean to rant and I'm sorry if I offended anyone.

The government of Oren is a corrupt and unorganized one. I doubt these guards even know who the council members are. This act just goes the show how ignorant Oren's people are of the other nations.

That is what makes this server the best on the Internets!

While I have not read the entirety of this forum or post I do have this to day about the race of Kharajyr. They seem to be basically pulled straight out of the Elder Scrolls world. They seem to be almost a carbon copy of the Khajit. I feel like this server is very unique in the fact that it has almost all original ideas. I would rather have a new original race instead of a copy of an already existing one. But, that's just my two cents.
