Denied. Your definition of roleplaying is slightly short, however correct, we are looking for a deeper explanation to give a clear understanding of the term. If we are asking you to define terms, then obviously we want you to know them. If you want onto this server look the terms up. We have a vast wiki page, and a forum for such things. Please put in a bit more effort. So please define metagaming and powergaming if you wanted to be white listed to the server. Not to bash your religion but the Christain faith doesn't exist in the Lord of the Craft, so your biography breaks lore. Minecraft isn't a term used in Lord of the Craft. Please read the wiki and rules of the realm. Your ambition is somewhat underdeveloped, and needs to be elaborated upon. Your open response questions are too short, and do not adequately portray your character in a roleplay sense. Denied. Your definition of roleplaying is more of what you use it for, and not the definition we are looking for. We want you to show us that you have a clear understanding of the term in the context of Lord of the Craft, your personal feelings can go into the examples. Your definition of meta-gaming again suffers from the same setbacks, you do not give a clear definition of the term. You definition of powergaming is just plain incorrect, perhaps a forum search, or reading the wiki page will help. Your subrace is not in tune with Lord of the Craft Lore. Please read the wiki page more closely. Your biograhpy, frankly is kind of a mess. You rush the story, and having your mother die by plague has been done so many times. It's rather old. Also you showed signs of villainy in your biography which isn't allowed without a villain application, and you cannot get a villain application until you've been white listed for a week. Also, your biography lacks any lore related materials. Please read the wiki page. Your ambition is very short, please elaborate and expand upon your answers. Your open response questions are far too short, you do not adequately show us your character, please answer these in depth, with as many details as possible, in a manner that is full roleplay. You powergame as well, and make your character over powered. Aim for realism, and not to make your character utterly perfect. -Rubs his temples- Not to sound like an overly strict mother, or anything, but this really isn't a game, at least not the application process. Simply because you have already been white-listed on another account does not mean you can be lazy on this one. I will judge this application like any other, and therefore be just as harsh. Denied. Your biography lacks lore related materials. What sort of cold beverages exist in the middle ages? What is a low elf? Your open response questions are lazy. I mean you at least try to get into character, but we are looking for in depth and long answers that give a very clear image of who your character is and how he will respond when we place him in the situations we present. Denied. I know you may have already been white-listed, but that doesn't mean you can be lazy on the definitions. Also your powergaming definition seems to be very vague. Your biography was rather clever however, but you could push for more lore related material. As I don't really think there are any Low elves in Lord of the Craft, or cold beverages. Denied. Comb through your application for typos, grammar and spelling mistakes. You give many side examples of what roleplaying is, but do not overly define the term itself. Please expand upon it muchly, we need to be able to see clearly that you understand the term given, and what it means to this server. Your definition of metagaming is awkwardly worded, which makes it very difficult for me to decide whether or not you actually have an adequate understanding of the term. Your definition of powergaming is somewhat onesided, please expand upon it and give more examples. Your biography has an impressively accurate portrayal of the fall of Aegis, but fails to give any background about Asulon; your character has been here for many years, and would no doubtably have started a new life. Please detail this, so we have a clear gauge of where you will be heading, and clearly define a more present depiction of your character. Your ambition is rather vague, and underdeveloped. You have not given a reason for them, and to be frank they are rather cliche'. You need to specify why the pickaxe and axe are you favorite tools to use, where did this favoritism come from, and how did it develop? How did he learn his skills, and what caused him to achieve this mastery of them? And don't lay it on the fact of him being of Dwarven Descent. Your open response questions do not give a clear enough image of the character you are going to be playing. Please expand upon them, and add more details. I want to see how you would fully roleplay these scenes if you were actually tossed into them. Overall, your application shows much promise, but lack several of the fundamental details that are required to receive admission to a server like Lord of the Craft. Denied. Your application lacks effort on all levels. This is a very high quality roleplay server we expect at least a little bit of work on the applicants part to get into and maintain the servers roleplaying atmosphere. You have done nothing to show me that you are a good roleplayer or story teller. You have an incomplete application, and if you think this application that was more than likely thrown together in five minutes is even remotely passable, you have another thing coming. Firstly you did not wait twenty four hours to reapply. Your definition of roleplay is basic and doesn't at all show your understanding of the term. Player RPG games all your life does nothing to prepare you for this roleplaying server, buddy. Surely you could learn, but that would take a bit of effort on your part. Roleplaying is about getting into character, not leveling up and questing like in RPGs. Your biography fails to meet the minimum of two paragraphs. It doesn't prove that you've read the lore and rules of the realm at all, and fails to tell the story of your character. Your characters ambition is rather cliche' and lacks any reasoning. How exactly is he an axe master? Your post lacks an image of your skin. You didn't do the open response questions at all. To be entirely fair, based on this application alone... Unless you make an utter turn around, and fix EVERYTHING about your application, then I don't see how you can possibly ever be a part of this community. Denied. Your roleplay definition goes off track and doesn't define the term, but more so says what you shouldn't do. Your definition of metagaming is skewed, as the information would still pertain to the world you were in; there is simply a thirty minute rule. Your definition is muddled and lacks complete understanding. Your example of powergaming is confusing, and the overall definition could be expanded upon. Again you fail to demonstrate clear understanding of the term. Powergaming goes beyond simply combat, it deals with the realism of your character, and the scenario. For instance if you were dealt a fatal blow and continued moving like nothing had happened, that is powergaming. If you broke the context of your character, for instance were an orphan on the side of the road, with no combat skills what so ever, and somehow was able to wield an iron sword and kill people, that would be power gaming. Think in terms of realism! Your biography is fair, but lacks lore related material. The only thing you talk about is Kal'Urguan and the Undead attacking. You do not talk about how you came to Asulon, and what you did to get set up, which leads me to believe you haven't fully read the lore. Your ambition lacks reasons. Why does he want these things? Most of the ambitions you've listed mirror that of most applicants. You need to link the ambition to your character with reasons. You are already in Asulon. All players are. Aegis is a mass of burning rubble. The undead destroyed it. Please read the lore. Your open response questions, albeit in character, are kind of messy to read and unorganized. Your Dwarf is also a heavy drinker, a drunk and doesn't show much other qualities. You didn't pull in any of the back story you set up in your biography, you just showed a lazy, greedy drunk. Not the farmer who has a love for the world around him you described above. Denied. Please research roleplaying, metagaming and powergaming. You need to have a clear understanding of the terms before you will be allowed into our server. Your biography needs to be lore based, and expanded upon. Why does your character want to form a town? Explain. Why is your favorite tool the sword? Explain. You didn't answer all of the open response questions, which just plain irks me. It isn't like you not doing the entire application is going to go unnoticed. Not only did you not complete them, the one's you did do are too short, don't show adequate ability to roleplay, and need much expansion.
