nice, though it could have been worded a bit better, you don’t need to explain it with IQ and such, kinda makes the culture less realistic and more shallow.
otherwise, +1.

What can you bring to the World Dev Team that is Unique?
I'm a Messy Medieval Builder, and I'm a creative lead to large scale builds. I'm a very detailed builder and I try to keep my builds grounded in reality, no matter how alien or fantasy the concept gets, it should have a reality to ground itself into, for a sense of proportion and scale.
What do you think the most important decisions are when it comes to designing a world?
It's function, primarily. It must look good, but it must work, first.
When working on smaller projects such as a village, a cave or a ruin; what is your aim?
Scenic view, layout efficiency, aesthetic detail, structural integrity, structural detail.
A large part of the World Developers job is finding new ideas for environments. Give a brief synopsis of an idea that you have had in that regard.
I’ve designed a LoTC world before and brought it to life using Worldmachine. I love scenic views and I think every build should have a viewing angle which allows it to have a direction and an aesthetic goal, it should not just be built up as it goes, but it should be preconceived, and drawn out before its started.
As for next map’s environments; more realistic forests, with realistic growth and canopies and ground cover. More caves, like Anthos. More ruins, like Athera. More open fields, and more organized roads. The map must work for the groups of players playing, where their cities are is not something that they must figure out, but staff must work to provide rp in the most enjoyable sense of the word, and that means planning out locations beforehand.
If you could, what would you change about Atlas and why?
It's map design was quite weak, the charters have clumped in certain regions and choked life out of more out there regions. This is due to the ring road, which was already seen as problematic in the start. I still prefer the Asulon way of cutting it into cardinal directions and branching natural roads. Travelling should be an experience worth the walk, even with bandit attacks and such, and soulstone usage should be more limited.
How much time are you on average able to contribute towards being a WD?
A few hours per day, more on the weekends.
The World Developers Team is a diverse group with a wide array of opinions, meaning disagreements often happen. Discuss how you handle disagreements or criticism when it comes to your designs.
I usually have a pretty creative mind, and I work iteratively, so I'll take in all kinds of suggestions for designs, unless the suggestion is something I see as it actually hurting the design, in which case I'd explain why I chose to do it a certain way.
Please include any examples of your design work below!

I think having a subtle hint to creation myths or something like a nice nature-swept ruin as a spawn point would be nice.
Not a lot of life around, just a nice plain of ruins, a la stonehenge, with a treeline in the distance.

In the west, a group of well armored knights and their retinue hears of the news of the death of Ester, mourning it deeply, yet they look towards the east suspiciously, knowing there to be more than a simple death.

To the west of the world, the construction continues, as brick meets brick neatly. A scoff is heard by the large bear-pelt man, who wishes naught but peace.

To the west of the world, some men and women begin to dig the foundations of a castle, speaking a strange language.

Somber the daybreak, thick clouds shrouding a sickly green sky... Danse Macab'r... The dancing armies of death wilt make all dance... Even Emperors...

Down in the deep abyss of Usgur, a grey creature of fiery glance hammers away steadfast at a piece of dark metal. He stops, and feels the abyss roar in its unmistakeable voice of solitude. Slumbering to a straight stand, he voices to the nothingness of the black nether where only fiery eyed grey creatures lie;
«If t'was mine pain ere that breaks 'part this deep stone, yet the sufferin' comes naught from ere but from these chambr's up above, it be a great sufferin' forsooth...»
((Loved this!))

Cābal heard murmurs of this rich province... He wished to know it's whereabouts, and spoke a prayer in soft voice, pleading for its health and longevity.

Also I don’t know why this isn’t talked about but a roleplay that relies on immersion and lore changing maps magically every year is getting old. A map that is made with love and made to LAST at least 2 years is what LoTC has needed since Anthos.

Map structure is wrong, it basically encloses the rp activity around extremely restrictive “nation” tiles, and makes reaching non nation tile regions extremely hard. That, coupled with the bad regioning system and chartering system this map, makes lotc feel stale in areas where activity is less consistent, which will generate ghost towns speckled on the road or road whereabouts.

“they did it to my boy arcanius, they massacred him....” The Jon of Brugges lamented. “Scions of betrayal, the lot of em! Wrought em hollow!” He barked.
“Sometime it do be like that, it do...” He concluded, marching TO WAR with the traitor gang.
