When you are in Laurelin, go to the crossroads. Then, turn right toward Old Laurelin, then veer right towards West Laurelin. Then, go to the west gate, turn left, and take the path to where it splits. Take the stone path, and that will lead you to Aeriel.

Okay, we need to finish off the other first floor classroom, then we will put the library/bookstore on top of that. Sting, is the Cafe/Commons area in the main hall fine? Also, I enlarged one of the offices to make it the headmaster's office. What is the floor on top of the offices going to be? I am still working on a location for the Botany house, and I think we will need to plan for a possible second building/ dorm hall. Also, Sting, who do you get to lock chests? I have plans to turn the area beneath the school into half engineering room half storage. We should probably start classes soon, because the school is almost finished.

Sting and I are workig on the building, and it is looking good. Vinter, Sting and I agree there should be a council. Sould ir be the three of us for now?

We should start construction of the academy now. I will speak with lord murmillo and get the land set aside, and start a little construction, not much though because I know Sting wants to oversee it.

Jon, to be honest, I have no idea what is happening. After we meet tomorrow, we will review everyone's app and try to get everything resolved. We need to stop fighting and start working together Sting and Vinter.

Perhaps we should find a time we can all be on this weekend, and set up a skype conference.

I have visited it many times, and am collaborating with the head of the library. I am building a counterpart library in Laurelin, which will have all of the books from that library located very locally.

I visited it today, scoping out the academy's location. If you go to serpent's ridge, past the mine, you cannot miss it. It is on a big hill.

Ummmm.... Fawkes the Academy is not a military school. We aren't trying to oppress our students, just to teach them skills. Our aim isn't to scare people out of the school.

Name: VonEbs ((In-game name:)) Ebs ((IRL age)): 15 Who are you?: I am a high elf, born in the wilderness of Aegis, on my family's estate. I was taught to read by my father, who had been a history professor in Laurelin before he retired to live a peaceful life. I trained with the Axe and Bow, learning the ways of the warrior and the scholar. I took up farming as a child as a hobby, and now I am proudly a master farmerI now live in Laurelin, tending my fields, and working on the library in the Mother tree. I have lived many lives, the one of a farmer, of a warrior, of a Knight, and now I want to use my experiences to help others live full lives like mine was by giving them an education. Which job and subject/s are you applying for?: Well, I am the Botany and Military history teacher at the Academy, because I have been with the project since the beginning, but I am just posting my application here to make it official. What are your past experiences that can strengthen your chance to get the position?: I have farmed all my life, meaning I am very qualified to teach Botany. As a soldier, I learned a lot about tactics from watching the battle, and I have also been involved in many of the battles with the undead, making me a good Military history teacher. I also want to follow in father's footsteps as a history teacher. What are your thoughts on The Aegean Academy? As I said, I have been with this since the beginning. It has come a long way, and I am proud to have been part of that. Buy, there is still a long way to go, and a lot of ground to cover. We need to build the school, make it efficient, and to get more people interested. We need to set up a curriculum and set up courses. What can you help out with besides being a professor?: I could be a Co-Headmaster, I am very good with logistics and am able to talk with people and make decisions. I could also in charge of Curriculum, or if you need anything else just ask me, and I will gladly fill that role.

We are trying to make it so that a degree from our school is required in a lot of professions. I don't understand why it doesn't make sense that your character would go back to school, because no nation has any established schools. This would mean your character would not have received any real formal education. This is more of a college then a high school, with classes you can chose from. We are trying to spread learning and education throughout Aegis, to teach people valuable in game skills, and in some classes, to just have a little fun.

Also, this is not necessarily only about teaching people the basics of playing on the server. It should also be about having fun/ interesting courses, because people don't want to spend their playing time just doing boring school busy work. Some notes on the classes you want to remove. Architecture would involve a lot of field trips, as well as people trying to design their own structures based on the races architecture. This would be a art elective for people who don't want to take drama. Engineering is crucial, because that is actually a skill people want to use, but it is hard to find training. I would consider Botany and Engineering as Science classes, with Botany also leveling your farming skill. The history classes should be separated because some people simply aren't interested in the wars or tactics, and others couldn't care less about Aegis's cultural history. Management and Economics are kind of like a math class, but teach useful skills that people can use in their professions. Survival Skills and hunting are pretty much the same, and Archaeology, Diplomacy, and other related classes would simply be electives, for people to enjoy.

Engineering would definitely be redstone heavy, hopefully we could get an expert who can do all kinds of cool stuff and teach it to you.
