I was born to a peasant family, in which I did work as a carpenter. When a nobleman started looking out for me after an injury I received while building a fort for him, I started my own merchandising business. For this, I learned how to read and write. I traveled all around the continent, until I found a lovely lady and married her. by the time I was 18, she was pregnant, and we were living a great life in Oren. However, on a vacation, she was killed by undead. So I joined a guild named Guardians, which later became the Knights Legacy. I was a tactics expert for them, and quickly beccame a corporal. However, after the base was destroyed and our forces temporarily scattered, I left the guild. Years later, I rejoined them, and had to earn my corporal rank back. When Aegis was destroyed, I came to Asulon and found their new village of Glenwood, which is now abandoned. Why do you wish to join the Seventis Military? Because of the length of time I have waited for my fellow guild members to return, to no avail, I am seeking a party of anyone who is willing to travel the lands with me, and maybe even establish a guild of our own. We can build a peaceful village, or raise mighty forts. Personally, I prefer a village centered around a fort. So if you are interested in any such adventures, please write to me. I await you all.

Out of character: I am 23 years old. I live in the USA, standard eastern time zone. Being raised in the USA, I would like to think that my English is pretty good, as is my grammar. However, I, like everyone, will make mistakes from time to time. Easily, I could be on at least 9 hours a week, most likely more. (in fact, it's almost guaranteed) I have played Minecraft beta for 6 months, after playing Minecraft classic for about a month. What I know about roleplaying is that while you are roleplaying, you are your character. Your life does not exist, you do not exist, you are living your characters life, breathing in their world, embarking on their quests and adventures. Roleplaying has been a hobby of mine for about 3 years now. This mostly consists of D&D. What I expect of this server is a friendly environment of fellow roleplayers, with a dynamic day to day life, and loads of adventure and quests to be completed. The only other server I played on for a long time is the Heaven & Hell server, which I quit because this server sounds like it'll be a lot more fun. And from what I've read, it sounds like it'll blow Heaven & Hell out of the water. I have read and understood the rules. They are very logical, and I agree to follow them without question. The four MAIN races of Aegis are Human, Elf, Dwarf, and Orc. This, of course, does not includ subraces, Undead, and Ascended. I heard about this server on planetminecraft, then went to minecraftforum.net to learn more about what seems like the best server out there. (I'm not trying to kiss up, that's my honest opinion.) I did vote for this server, giving it the highest rating I could. My favorite law is no property destruction. I do not have a least favorite law. They all make sense, and are necessary to maintain order. In character: My name is Trader_Ardougnious, after my grandfather, Traveler_Ardougnious. I am 100 percent human. My lordofthecraft.net/forum account name is colwin1. Biography: I was born in an era of constant conflict between the nations, with only my sister and mother to grow up with. All of the men in my family were killed. My father, my cousins, my 2 brothers, my uncle, they all died at the hands of orcs that raided the city at night. They all joined the guard, being able-bodied men, they knew that it was their sworn duty to protect our kingdom. From then on, I've never been very fond of orcs, and tried to avoid them. But during the following era of peace, I used common curtesy around any I had to come in contact with. Much to my distaste, I might add. The peace was very much a relief for my family, although the problem was, we were poor. Very poor. At the age of 7, I had to start working construction to earn money to feed my family. Or what was left of my family, at least. The closest thing I got to a getaway from my problems of everyday life is when I went to sleep on the cold dirt floor of our tiny slum. At the age of 11, my mother died, leaving me to take care of my 8 year old sister. Leaving to work everyday, I worried for her safety while I was gone, as crime was very high in the general location of my home. Although I had a job, most of my income came from gifts of bread given to me by humble bakers and priests near any construction project I worked on. Although my life took a turn for the best 2 years later, at the age of 13. I was working on the roof of a new fort I was building with a 20-man crew, and I fell the 40 foot drop into a lake below. I broke my left hand, was paralyzed, and nearly drowned. However, a most kind and generous lord witnessed my near death experience, and payed for my recovery, and pretty much covered all the expenses I need to live a good life with my sister, and start my own trading business at the age of 15. I had trouble getting customers at first. I traveled the world, and was rejected almost everywhere. However, at the age of 17, on a night of celebration in my homeland of Oren, a lady by the name of Lynyl walked up to my shop looking for a necklace. She asked for one of the cheaper ones in my stock, but I gave her the most beautiful necklace, crafted by an elves magic in the Holy Princedom of Malinor. Needless to say, she noticed right away. After that day, she spread word of my kindness, which subsequently, resulted a huge jump in sales, for all goods and wares. We fell in love. It was only a matter of time before we wed. We had planned to raise a family together. We traveled the plains and kingdoms, seeing new sites. Gorgeous sites of nature and architecture. Life was great, these were the greatest days of my life. Half a year had passed since our honeymoon, and she was pregnant with our child, which we were going to name Trevinor, or Katherine, depending on whever it was a boy or a girl. But none of the plans mattered anymore, for on that autumn's night, an mob of the undead claimed her life, and the life of our unborn child. We were separated in the chaos, and when I had finally found her, it was almost too late. With my diamond sword, crafted in the depths of Kal'Urguan, I went berserk through the ranks of those terrible monsters. I plowed through them as if it was only wheat that stood before me. However, there was simply too many of them. I ended up taking an arrow to the left shoulder, and had to be dragged out by a knight who had been defending the town. My beloved Lynyl was never seen again. Biography over. I am 28. I wear a dark green jacket over my plain white shirt. I wear brown leather chaps and black leather boots. A red leather shoulder strap holds my Dwarven-forged diamond sword. My eyes are ocean blue, my heroic hair dark brown, matching my rugged mustache. I am a very ambitous person, very kind as well. I do not enjoy fighting, but I will if necessary. I like to help anyone whenever I can. My ambitions is to become king of Oren, and to whipe the Undead off of the face of our world. Yes, I have learned how to read an write, because it is an important skill for merchants and traders. I am able to mine, but not very good. I'm best at finding caves, and exploring them. But not so much mining them, I tell others about caves I find so that they can mine it. Seeing as I spent 6 years of my childhood building, the art of counstruction has been drilled into my head. It is one of my expertises. From fencing and defending myself on travels, I am decent with a sword. No, quite frankly, I hate farming, and would only farm if I was desperate for food. Please forgive me, for it seems that I have forgotten some parts of my application. I did not state how long I have been roleplaying. The answer would be for 3 years now. I stated what I knew about roleplaying, just not how long I have been doing so. The next thing I forgot was the signature.

Greetings, men and women, lords and ladies, I am colwin1 (my Minecraft account username). I am 23 years old, and I live in the United States of America. (eastern standard time.) I have an execellent grip and understanding of the English language, as I was born and raised here, in the USA (I enjoy using "decorative" words. Fancy, if you will.) I am a fun-loving spirit who has never belonged to any specific "social group", although I tended to hang out mostly with nerds, which, of course, amongst each other, nerd is a term of high respect. I am highly educated, always in a gifted/honors/AP class; I was doing 7th grade mathematics, etc. by the time I was in kindergarten (this may be hard to believe, although I have many friends who can vouch for my word). To finish, I am generally a friendly individual, who loves to socialize and interact with others. I could easily be on at least 1 hour every day, except for Wednsday, or on days of special occassions. I have played Minecraft for about half a year now, not including Minecraft classic, which I played for about 2 months before actually buying this incredible game. What I know about roleplaying is that you should always stay in character, and there is an endless world of possibilities, quests, and everyday tasks day-day in life. And no matter how great the danger, or adventure may be, it is just another day for you. I expect that this server will be an epic and enchanting journey of adventure with many quests to be done, diplomacy to be taken care of, and towns, nations, or even empires to build! The only other server I really played on a lot is the Heaven & Hell server, which I left because I got bored of the same thing all the time, and I expect that this server will be very diverse, complex, and always iwll occupy me. I have read and understood the terms and conditions of this server. I have also read the lore, which sounds like the writer should make movies. (even though a bit is based off of other movies, it still is unique.) The four races of this server is the diplomatic human race, the hard-working dwarves, the ancient and wise elves, and the always-warring orcs. I heard about this server on PlanetMinecraft. I was born in an era of everyday war, and plunder, to a family consisting of only my mother, my sister, and I, since any other men in the family had been killed defending our kingdom. We made little money, and often went to bed hungry. However, one day, a kind and noble lord saw me getting injured while building, and not only payed for my recovery, but gave a most generous amount of money to my family. We never went to bed hungry again. I even got to enjoy luxuries of of intracitly decorated clothing, and leisure, mostly enjoyed by nobles (whom I spend lots of time with, and may be considered one, almost), and the occassional wealthy merchant. Now I seek to become king in our mighty, and prestigous kingdom of Oren. I am 19 years old. I dress as a merchant, since I am a merchant. I follow the code of chivalry. To add on to this, I am a very ambitous person who will do whatever I am required to do to become the king of Oren. As long as it doesn't involve illegal activity, that is. I am never afraid to fight, but I never WANT to fight. However, if it is required, I shall, without fear, for what sort of king would I make if I was to cowardous to defend myself? As I just said, my ambition is to one day become king of Oren, or at least lead an allied kingdom, although remaining loyal to Oren would be much favorable for my suiting. I can both read and write. This was a late skill, however, I do not have difficulty doing either. I am a descent miner, although I would leave it to the experts. I can mine if I have to, though, it is not too difficult. It would not be the best work, however. Building is one of my areas of expertise, as I was a builder until the age of 13, when I was injured construction a church. I am able to weild a sword, as I have fenced before, although if war were to overcome our kingdom, I would not exactly be the best soldier. However, my skill with a sword is still considerable, and will serve me nicely in times of need. I do not enjoy farming. I never have. Farming for me, is a back up for getting food. I'd prefer to just stick to hunting pigs for pork. My best skills are building, and socializing, working diplomacy (although I have never done diplomatic work on a professional level). I cannot figure out how to attach a screenshot, however, I can tell you that my skin is a very popular Link skin that I bet everyone has seen by now.
