Ogdan Frostbeard returned to his workshop after hearing the Grand King’s speech of the Orenian downfall. He opened the door as gadgets and schematics fell from their place on the table. He looked around to see everything misplaced and disorganized, it was a sheer mess. He turned back around and sighed as the project he had been working on fell off the table, ruining days of hard work.

“If onleh I had m’self a helper.” he said to himself as he carefully picks the mechanism up from the ground. “D’is place would nae be in such disarray if lads would jus’ give this stuff ah chance!” he becomes ambitous as he scans his cluttered workshop. “I need m’self an apprentice. Or a few maybeh. A ‘hole squadran’ uv’ loike minded lads...” he would say softly. He trots back to his desk and starts writing flyers, sending them to every nation that would accept them.

    The T.I.E. Expansive

Here to invent, expand, and revolutionize the way you see the world.

Home of all Tinkers, Inventors and Engineers.

We are located in Kal’Omith, home of the Dwed.

    Purpose

With the war now coming to an end, peace is within our grasp. With that in mind we can rest easy and turn our focus to other, less violent, expenditures. I, Ogdan Frostbeard, Master Engineer, will make this guild serve as the foundation of a new era. Forming a new generation of thinkers rather than military men. We aim to expand upon the vast world that lays before us with inventions, mechanisms, and grand machines.. I come to you in an era of reform and prosperity with an opportunity to invent the course of history the way you see it.

    Description

Uniting all like minded individuals is what TIE is all about. We accept members of all race as long as you accept the terms upon signing, which includes following the laws of any state or provinces in which operate. Each member is required to read, study, and know their chosen field(s) as well as pioneer new concepts, ideas, and technologies.

As the war settles, I look amongst the aftermath and I see the grief and destruction it has brought us. It brings sorrow to my heart, the kind that will forever remain. For I am offering a chance to lay down your weapons and focus on bettering the life of all. Pick up your hammers, pick up your tools, create a prosperous future for your children, your family, your friends, and your neighbors. For many lives have been taken from us too soon. We must stop our fighting and start inventing the future we wish for.

    Roster

Master Engineer's Right Hand - Unfilled (Need to rise through the ranks of EVERY 'specialization' or atleast show prowess in two of the three fields.)

    Observant - Agamm Ireheart ((Agamm))

    Observant - Grungot Frostbeard (((Grungot))

    Inventors:

    Tinker - Varuk Frostbeard ((Hoster102))

    Positions/Ranks

Redstone Technician: These members of the guild that operate with redstone mechanisms and machinery. They excel in wiring useful mechanisms such as hidden doorways, light switches, alarms; the list goes on. The most experienced technicians are rumored to be able to wire deathtraps, proximity alarms, and even vaults which require a unique combination to enter. Often times considered the most logical thinkers of the guild.

Observant: The recruit level of the specialization. They watch, learn, and take notes on how to build and construct redstone circuitry and mechanisms.

Technician: A member with the base knowledge of redstone. They can wire common circuitry and mechanisms. After enough time and learning, they can advance and often specialize in defence or domestic affairs. These promotions will be dependent upon the members knowledge and determined by their arsenal of ability to build mechanisms.

Master Technician: The final, most prestigious position amongst redstone technicians. They often need no assistance, and can build mechanisms on request. They can handle orders, train apprentices, and often times develop new mechanism of their own, or optimize an already operable mechanism. They can often take and fulfill orders upon request.

Ranking up - To rise through these ranks you must pass a series of trials. One to advance from Observant to technician, two to advance to the higher levels of Technician, and a final trial will be given based on the subjects skills to become a Master Technician.

    --------------------------------------------------------

Inventor: These members of the guild come up with new creations and concepts. They often begin tinkering with little gizmos and gadgets and work their way up to creating complex machines. These inventions can often be praised for just their artistic value or provide a real, practical use. They are often the most creative members of the guild.

Tinker: The recruit level of this specialization. They often find ways to create odd gadgets that prove no practical use or very little. They study the works of the the inventors and creationists. They often travel, to collect and research people that have oddities for ideas themselves. Inspiration is key.

Inventor: This level of the specialization is the backbone. They come up with ideas, create inventions, solve issues, and most importantly, are creative. Often times they pioneer some of the best technological advancements and are revered for their ability to create something from nothing.

Creationist: This level is highly regarded and is near certain to have an impact on industry or even perhaps make history. Once, and if, you aspire to Creationist. Your inventions must be the grandest and most advanced the world has seen thus far. These members create products not only for themselves, but others too since they have a very vital practical use. These items often end up in the Invention Hall of Fame as well as used by many for practical purposes. Most Creationists are granted the ability to give out ‘Patents’ if the device is deemed worthy.

Ranking up - To advance through these ranks gadgets and items of advancement must be made. One of promising usefulness to become an inventor. As an inventor, you must create and theorize, two gadgets or objects used to advance ones well-being. That means three total creations of your own must be made to become a 'Creationist'. With the ability to patent items you are given a very high responsibility to deem items worthy of usefulness, art, and perhaps even promotion.

    -----------------------------------------

Architect: These members of the guild specialize in pioneering/creating large scale engineering tools. They can craft tools to aid the public or create war machines that can rip through castle walls like a knife does butter. They plan, construct, maintain, and direct all siege weaponry as well as operate the workshop’s machines that are designed to aid the public.

Theorist/Designer: The recruit level of the specialization. Their duties are to study and read about mechanisms, how they work, and how to create one. They come up with plans, schematics, and theories. Often taking notes and working with Architects as they study their designs. These members are able to recreate, properly learn, and practice designing siege weapons and or domestic advancements.

Architect: These are the members who carry out orders on a large scale. They craft engineering machines, siege weaponry and design projects. They can follow schematics and improvise when necessary. They can specialize in war machinery or advance technology of our kingdom if you wish not to participate in war affairs.

Grand Architect: This position is highly revered. Their experience in the field is unparalleled. They have knowledge in all things war, transportation, and defence. They create schematics, come up with new ideas, and spearhead projects. They carry much weight in the group, as their specialty directly supports the kingdom and it’s well being.

Ranking up - The pass through these ranks you must be an able builder and help construct items that the Grand Kingdom needs. As a designer or theorist, you must come up with or help design a machine. This machine must provide a use, domestic or military. You may be able to find an Architect already tasked with a project and help him, or spearhead a project of your own. Architects must prove their worth, designing, building, and recreating machines of our past to help aid the Grand Kingdom and her allies.

    Rules

    • All members of the TIE Expansive must confide with clients and be sure not to speak about the mechanisms created should they be meant to be secret. This is our guarantee, breaking this rule results in immediate expulsion.

    • Each member is to fulfill their quota within the time frame given.

    • No tricks that are meant to harm. This means no using of your skills for ill intent unless told to do so otherwise. We are to remain peaceful until the Grand Kingdom of Urguan needs us.

    • All members must follow the laws of whichever kingdom, hold, or province in which we are operating in.

    • You must allow your creativity to flourish.

    Accolades and Achievements

    Spoiler

“Cog of War” or Accolade of Military Advancement: Awarded to those who create a machine that proves itself useful on the battlefield. Siege weapons, ammunition, or anything that provides support to the Grand Kingdom of Urguan on the battlefield are accepted. The said machine must be deemed worthy by the Grand Marshall to be able to receive this award.

“Monocle of Perception” or Accolade of Innovation and/or Renovation: Awarded when a member constructs a major technological breakthrough that replaces or improves an old system that was in place. This includes travel, efficiency, and defence. Often built to improve the life of citizens within the kingdom or hold.

“Signet of Redstone” or Accolade of Redstone Technology: Awarded to those who complete their final set of redstone trials. This can only be accomplished by the most experienced technicians. To achieve one you must have the ‘Master Technician’ title. Those who bear it are known to have extreme prowess in the art of redstone.

“Hourglass of Invention” or Accolade of Technological Advancement: Awarded to those who invent a gadget that enhances life in any regard. It must be finely crafted and exceptionally made to be granted this award. This is the highest honor an inventor or creator can receive. They also receive a ‘Patent License’  which grants them the ability to patent the product that won them the accolade. It serves as a legal document for nobody to recreate said item but the owner or licensed distributors.

((Pictures and descriptions of the physical accolades will be added shortly))

Invent Monthly | “Trophy of the Tinker

    Spoiler

A monthly event that invites all inventors and tinkerers to the Grand Workshop. A feast with ale and as much food as we can muster will be there as well as a showcase of our inventions. There will be three judges. The first Invent Monthly will be scheduled when the three judges are decided. You can sign below to be interviewed to become a judge.

The top invention will be granted a patent by the Master Engineer, Ogdan Frostbeard. The winner may do as he wills with the item and if anyone tries to replicate said item, attempts will be halted and all duplicates repossessed. The winner will also be granted a two hundred minas reward as well as a “Trophy of the Tinker” to display his prowess.

There is also a possibility for an honorable mention reward, a small sum of fifty minas will be rewarded as well as an “Honorable mention” trophy.

Auctions will be held at the end of each Invent Monthly if the inventors want to sell their creations.

    Invent Monthly Rules:

    • Inventions cannot incorporate magic of any kind. All entries must be purely mechanical.

    • Already patented items may not compete in the competition.

    • Inventions cannot harm anyone.

    • Let your creativity flourish

    • Twenty percent of the proceeds from any auctions  will be given to The T.I.E. Expansive as payment for hosting, auctioning, and promoting said invention.

    Invention Hall of Fame

The invention hall of fame would host all the previous winners of the Invent Monthly’s creations. It would also be home for tinker relics, patents, and famous technological advances. These are the most prized possessions of tinkers, and are safeguarded by a vault built by Master Engineer, Ogdan Frostbeard himself.

  2. Ogdan, upon hearing the speech, would think back to when the armor-clad men returning from battle boasted in victory. It took only a single moon for the dwed to realize that precious life had been taken from us at the cruel gripes of war. They grieved for their brothers, friends, and family. Some grieved for even those that they put down on the battlefield, who were blinded by their duty and oaths. Drowning themselves in ale to rid themselves of scenes on the battlefield.

"We mus' put an end t' this bloodshed. I cannae fill these tankards t' drown sorrows aneh longer. I wan' t' be able t' rejoice 'n raise our tankards. Enjoy t' loife we 'ave and hold so dear t' us, put an end to this taintin' uv' our souls an' minds. This bloodshed mus' stop. Fer I cannae grieve over the loss of another un' uv me brothers." he says to some of his fellow Frostbeards before trotting back to his workshop. Inspired by the kings words, Ogdan begins drafting flyers.

  3. A note is scribbled across onto a piece of parchment and posted across Oren.

  8. This is excellent. We need more of the newer player's opinions. Thanks for the feedback, +1.

As for the economy, I am starting a rather intricate merchant company soon. There will soon be many goods delivered everywhere so that shouldn't be a problem soon. Also lots of jobs available, however not to Uruks as much unless you are friendly with pinkiez.

  9. "This piece of land is perfect to for housing workers. I am in dire need of a place to set up shop and bring on the load of workers I need for the new Dalavician Merchant Company in Petrus. I swear to you that this land will be put to good use."

    - Ben Avice

  10. Ben Avice stumbles upon the note and writes a response and mails it off,

"I, Ben Avice, would like to start a merchant's guild. Knowing that many have tried in the past to make such, I assure you I will be able to manage such an operation. I have much previous experience in trade. I'd like to help fuel the trade runs, hire merchants & salesmen, and also manage a location for laborers to be payed for their efforts."

  11. [The Tradesman Guild]

The Tradesmans Guild has no ranks, no power, just a community where others can trade for different materials that they need. A form of a market. Each member should have a trade to contribute, whether it be providing fresh food or leatherworking. Everyone needs something at some point and having connections can help you obtain what you need. The aim of this is to build connections and have make it easier to find that pesky town blacksmith that's never around.

    Positions:

    - Leatherworker
    - Breeder
    - Blacksmith
    - Miner
    - Chef
    - Tinker
    - Stonemason
    - Woodworker
    - Enchanter
    - Alchemist
    - Glassblower
    - Lumberjack
    - Fisher

  12. Ben dips his quill in the ink and writes a letter:

"The people of Kaphro now reside in Vekaro. We have a small district to ourselves and have been trying to fill our time while we await this damned trial. We have nothing to return to at Kaphro. All the life was sucked away when those dogs stepped their sordid boot in. People are getting back to their lives, but it just isn't the same without you around. I'll see ya soon."

  13. Minimize graphic settings, be sure not to use a texture pack or find a very low resolution one and try that. (Sometimes increases FPS). Like Freya said, allocating more ram if possible would help. Be sure not to have any other programs besides minecraft running.

You can try to prioritize Minecraft. By hitting Ctrl + Alt + Delete then going into task manager. Hit the processes tab and find the 'Javaw.exe' process, right click it and select 'Priority'. Set it to 'High', not 'Realtime' because Realtime can put a lot of unneeded stress on your computer.

    Hope something works!

Edit: Also remove any mods you might have!
