  1. +1, what can I say?

Honestly, he's one of my favorite people on the server and I can say one of my best-friends from the old days. Back in Aegis, my list of people I just absolutely loved was TehLulu, ShadowGunX, SimonBane, and Roxses20. And even now, he's continued to be one the funnest people Ive ever known as well as one of the most creative people I know. All of his roleplay, while it can be slow typing, always leaves me waiting for more. I actually hate missing to roleplay with him, like say if I get on and he was literally just getting off. He would definitely provide people with some of the funnest roleplay they've had.

  2. Are you a leader or follower, susitsu? Do you like to take charge in what has been organized (i.e events) whether or not they had been written up by you, or would you rather assist and support in events you would be able to help with? Additionally, how are your writing skills? Do you enjoy writing lore, or do you abstain from greater details and try to form creative concepts on a whim in order to shell out events for others as opposed to storylines? I know of your ability to RP in forums, as I had witnessed it in the past, though never knew if you enjoyed to write beyond that.

As a manager, I may subject you to further questioning (and may request you to make additions to your application) as to determine what you can offer in total to the team. I presume this will not be a hassle.

    Interesting approach.

When it comes to leading or following, I honestly don't care for either and refuse to consider myself one. I act as the situation demands. If a leader is needed, I will stand. If a follower is required, I will assist you. When it comes to my own ideas and lore, it's unlikely I'll allow another to head that but I will feel uncomfortable taking up the mantle of another. Regardless, I am flexible and my comfort is meaningless to me.

I consider my writing skills above par, but I often keep my work to myself. Many of my characters have had massive bios or massive details on a specific ability they have purely for myself to always be able to see, so I would say that I do indeed enjoy writing lore, but rather, when it comes to events, I write what is needed, and allow it to flow from there as events occur.

When it comes to one time events or storyline, I do by far prefer storylines. I want to be able to bring people events that allow people to advance their characters in ways they want and be able to remember what occurred in these, whether they have a rather dark ending or a happy one. But regardless, there is always a time for one time run events.

Simply put, I can do and be any of these things at anytime as is demanded and will do so.

If you ask that I add more, doing so would easily be done.

  3. Tis' a Jest (or jess, I'm not really certain) the point is that after thinking about it, illusion has always been able to do lots of things.

Oh. Sorry, my mistake. I just figured it'd be fine to tell you and that you probably had fun writing it. Gave me a laugh with the title alone.

    +1

  4. Anyways so Ed this abide to lore? And the mech standard? Also, now I know why illusion is the scourge of all magic ideas, everything can be done with it.

That's...honestly not a mature response at all.

  5.

text color tho. you fixed it

Also, while I do find this a bit funny, I'm fairly certain illusion can already do that...I should have used that in fights when I used illusion before...

I indeed got confirmation from a much more experienced illusionist than I just now. You can do all of this with illusion magic.

  6. text color tho. you fixed it

  7. As much as I hate Shades, I'm going to have to +1 this.

Huh. I'm glad I managed to patch up the previous issues we had. I was kinda anxious about that for a while now.

(As odd as it sounds, I get really unhappy about being hated over a misunderstanding.)

    • Minecraft name(s):

    susitsu

    • Skype ID:

    shadow_walker_shen

    • Time zone:

PST, but until I get a regular schedule from a job and such, I'm basically...all timezones because of my insomnia as of right now. Lets just say everyone from the UK, US, to Aussie players see me right now.

    • Have you ever been banned or received a strike? If so, link the report:

Ive been banned once. No report. All allegations and events surrounding it have remained vague and were from two years ago. I could have easily cleared everything up anytime, but I simply decided that I didn't want to come back to LotC after all I put into it just to get mistreated by certain staff members. I have since returned and decided that I do want to help the server again finally rather than just being another player with an opinion. That meaning, an opinion doesn't change the server. Fun, enjoyable RP does.

    • Do you hold / have you held any other staff positions?

One of the three who originally created the whole VAT concept. I then waited until my Advanced Villain Application was accepted to actually join the team even though I helped create it just because I wanted to make sure I felt good enough for it.

    • What MMORPG/video games have you / do you play? (Past and Present)

At the moment, pretty much just League of Legends and LotC are all the games that get my time due to being stuck on my laptop. When I have my desktop, I'll be playing plenty of other games, but how Ive always managed it was basically few hours on other game, few hours on LotC or one day for these games one day for LotC. Regardless, LotC will receive far more than enough time.

    • What are your characters? Are you willing to sacrifice any to become a Event member?

Lucas Black, Castor The Red Mage, and Valaskar. I am not willing simply because I'm not going to have them be involved in my events. That's just arrogant to me and I actually found it extremely shameful when I saw certain members of the ET just turn their characters into poof here poof there be a bother to anyone anywhere as they please event characters. If you're going to have a character be involved in storylines, don't make them your personal characters.

    • What race / group do you think your events would best cater to? If none in particular, give an example of the type of group that your events would entertain.

Honestly? The Halflings. I really want to do stuff for them because they're just a funny crowd of guys and Ive always wanted to do stuff with them. I feel like they'd be tons of fun to give RP events to, whether they're silly or serious. But in all honesty, I'll likely be hitting all groups, Shades, Necromancers, Humans, Elves, Orcs, Dwarves, guilds, anyone who wants who's online that I randomly pick out of the /people list. Hell, I like the idea of doing events for new or come-back players just to help them along.

    • What do you believe are key factors for a successful event?

Non-streamlined and not making a character just so that they specifically are the important character to the event line. Anything should be able to happen. Whoever becomes the important character if there is one, it should be because they managed to make themselves it. The ending should always be open-ended. Who knows what kind of items from other events or characters with specific abilities may come in to absolutely change what is happening. The TL;DR on that, make events fluid.

    • When was the last time you saw a event?

About a week ago. I really haven't been seeing any lately, but I have been hearing of them. I'm just basically missing them is all due to my practically Aussie time schedule at this point.

    • What strengths could you contribute to the Event Team? Are you knowledgeable in lore or great at organizing?

I spend a lot of time online simply siting around or looking for people to RP with as well as I'm on during Aussie times. I'm able to easily work with many other ETs for small-scale or large-scale events due to both my easy comprehension of things, my knowledge of lore, and that I would very easily work with the majority of the ET because I'm actually good friends with them. Literally a large chunk of the ET I'm good friends with and I have personally expressed interest to Swgrclan to work with him on his ET events and he was absolutely welcoming to the idea.

So most of all, I'll be working with Swgrclan on events, but I am entirely open to working with anyone else or just doing my own thing. Probably with Halflings. I really want to do stuff for them.

    • Why do you want to be part of the ET?

Ive wanted to join for a long time, but Ive only decided that now I am finally ready to do things like this on the server again. Of course, just this justification isn't good enough. I enjoy doing big RPs and getting thanked.

That's hard to do when you don't want to simply have your character die and you only have the capabilities of a normal player. I'd love to do interesting event lines that let people slowly figure it out and even plan times with a specific crowd to continue some event line or even just do it randomly. The ability to just make any character at anytime with absolutely no worry for them dying is wonderful to me.

    • Create three distinct RP scenarios/events based on LOTC lore that you would organize. These are pitches to the Managers and Ouity, not to the community. Note: Not all of the group must be handled at once. Eg: 20+ people via 5 person increments in a dungeon.

Side-note: I do not believe what should define my app is how detailed I write down my events. I believe heavily in dynamic RP and do generally only plan as far ahead as "this will probably happen" rather than simply what is definitely going to happen.

    1) For 1-3 person

For travelers (This event would likely be done with LM assistance in regards to Aengudaemons): A strange old man has just stepped into your path on the road. He calls out to you, holding an odd smile and speaks in a cryptic manner. He wants directions to a nearby location, but in the opposite of where you just came. He as well seems visibly weak and like he may be rich. If say, you decide to guide him, you will be rewarded with something fitting to your character(s) and their current situation. Things ranging from a weapon or item for each person to even a long-distance teleport to where you need to be right away.

If say you attack the old man, he rather suddenly reveals himself to be in-fact quite poor appearing. You would find nothing upon him. One of you may even receive a short-term curse for making the decision. Such a curse may be an effect of feeling, well, rather old for the rest of the day. You would likely be inflicted with a prolonged slowness effect for making the kill.

If say you simply give him directions, you may receive a much more minor bit of assistance such as just advice or if you are running to help some friends, maybe a strong wind passes by int his battle at a very opportune time.

    • 2) For a group of 5-10

For a casual tavern gathering (This event will likely be done with the cooperation of a Dark Shaman character.): A dark presence begins to slowly creep into the tavern. All members seem to feel it when eventually something akin to a haunting would occur-tables dragging, cups flying, knifes beginning to position themselves threateningly.

Now the interesting aspect to this is I would ask the Dark Shaman to give directions to the spirit for all parts so even they're just a player in the event trying not to lose. They would have to try and spread deception and protect their identity while troubling those present. This would be a purely RP event with no real reward. One should simply enjoy RP. Overall, it would be meant to spread the feeling of genuine fear of something unknown harassing those present.

I would likely as well cooperate with the region owners on such a thing. The events that occur and possible endings will entirely be left up to the players, things such as convincing the Dark Shaman to simply back down even being possible. I would simply be assembling people and handling the special effects.

    • 3) For a group of 20+

Lets talk monster grinding: Honestly, when there's this many people, how can you do anything but mob spawn? Except...you can mix up RP and decisions in it like one should. There should be a sense that you are making progress. So how would this occur? Many days I see Orenians patrolling or the Orcs doing their Warpath. Elves on the walls, Dwarves guarding their gates. Any of these can be chosen for some sort of powerful creature to come and challenge them.

I personally don't like to associate such things to a player group, so I would ask around a bit and get some sort of outsider. This being would likely act in a sort of 'invasion' manner, intending to prove its strength. It would end in a roleplay fight, as hard as that is to say, where the big bad guy would be just absolutely destroyed. I am actually capable of keeping up with that many emotes and am known for my stupidly fast typing, as crazy as that may sound.

But I should say, this would span several days, likely at the same time and against the same group. This being would form its personal vendetta and after maybe three days of sieges, it would come forth itself to try and challenge this group. In its arrogance, it would fall.

Or would it? Lets say they show mercy. This being would be one of honor and would likely demand they end its life upon defeat. So maybe someone convinces the whole crowd "Lets...not do this." Maybe they just gained a powerful outsider ally that will come once to help them. Maybe they are about to receive a unique item from it. I would largely leave that up to both the RP and what I am allowed to do as an ET member at the time of the event.

    • 4) Storyline Arc

    To be done.

    • How long do you plan to stay in the ET?

Likely for a year on from now.. From there, I don't know if my drive will remain. We will have to see. Regardless, I have a habit of staying devoted to things as long as I agree to do so for a certain amount of time, but if appropriate, I will take my leave or temporarily step down.

    • Tell me a joke

I mostly know racist jokes...uuhh...your life? Wait, ****, that was...uhm...uhm...I-I mean...PLEASE DON'T MAKE ME BE SOCIAL OH GOD HELP!!!!

    Susitsu, Susitsu... where to begin...

I remember my early days in the temp maps, when I really was starting to get into the community, talk to people, learn about the server's past and hear the famous stories passed down. An aspiring villain who wanted to achieve notoriety at the status of people like Knox, the Perfectionist, and various others... I was told about susitsu, who played Lucas Black. For almost all of my time on the server, you were like an elusive myth to me: "Somebody who could return and clear up his ban whenever he wanted, but he chose to stay away". I remained entirely unaware of who you were until you returned to the server in 3.5 and we met due to our mutual friends. I think we clicked pretty early on, you being one of the elder shades, I a newer, and we RP'd a few times on various characters.

Since then, I'd like to think we've maintained a friendly relationship with one another, our TS banter and our RP always being fun and light-hearted. In the time I've known you, I've known you to be a roleplayer who's never afraid to go with the flow of what occurs: sculpting the character he's played since the server's earliest days, based upon the events around him, and simply letting things happen. You have a good mindset about the server and what's healthy for it, and I respect that.

However, every person is not without their flaws. I have known you to have powergamed on a few occasions (nothing out of malicious intent I truly believe, simply frustrating situations where things became unclear and thus roleplay became heated and cluttered) as well as brought OOC into handling a purely-IC situation. These events were, to be fair, half a year ago, so I'm not one to judge if that is truly how you still are, as I haven't seen such behavior since I returned to the server 2 months ago. I assume you've changed for the better, but it is still meritable to point out these past infractions.

To wrap things up, I think you have the right mindset for an actor, with the right guidance. Yet, I pose a single question to you: would you be willing to give up the time you spend forging relationships and enjoying RP on Lucas, so that you could do ET work?

A +1 for me, yet the decision should ultimately be up to you.

Well, the funny thing about that is...I decided to finally make the ET app after all these months because I have far too much time as Lucas Black. I spend a lot of time walking aimlessly and staring at walls until I get idled kicked then log back in, wishing I had a way to find people and RP with them, and not even as Lucas.

As well, Ive been planning for a very long time reasons to slowly cut down my time as Lucas, so the answer is yes, I am in-fact already prepared to do so.

    An additional note from myself:

My intent for a long time in regards to Lucas Black was to put him back as more of a guide and guardian character, less of a forward warrior. Ive been spending more and more time on my other two characters and less and less on Lucas. Sometimes I'm an hour on Lucas, hour on Valaskar, and hour on Castor. Sometimes, I just have a day I spend on each of them.

I'm really enjoying a lot of the event roleplaying I'm getting from character to character and I do honestly feel a bit impatient in regards to a verdict. Mostly, I just feel an apprehensive uncertainty. Adding a little more to this will just make me feel a bit better, which is why I'm doing so.

  8. Honestly, I don't even need to say why.

    +1

...Okay, okay, just kidding. Check this **** out. Memory lane, roll.

I met Shadowmage when he first joined the server. He's what you would have called 'edgy.' Black blood and all. I'm being kind here as to not hurt him too much, being the very thought of when he first joined brings horror to his voice. Now, take it two years later when I returned and I immediately recognized his name when I saw him, mostly because it was kind of a recognizable name. Now when I met him now, he was a funny, cool guy, and exceptional roleplayer. Quite the difference. And just like everyone else, he welcomed me back all the same.

But a little different from everyone else, I watched his OOC activity and learned quite quickly he's a really level-headed, mature guy, as well as friendly and always actively trying to do things just to make people's time enjoyable. I mean, honestly, who else is always talking necromancer events with people?

No one. Just him. He's the face of The Coven and he is loved. So yeah. +1, man.

  9. Ever since the loss of Slayer near the end of Aegis, I honestly haven't seen (even though I was gone for two years) anyone actually active in the Aussie timezone, so I can say simply-these guys really need it...as for PJ herself, hmm...hmm, hmm, hmmmmmm...

Ive never actually really talked to her personally until recently during one of my usual insomnia sessions...and in that conversation, I found her to be quite easy to talk to as well as quick to respond in a friendly and mature manner, rather than one or the other.

I say give her a chance.

    +1

  10. "I'm heading to the Horen's place to have some sauce. Want to come with, Lucas?"

Shaking his head, he would say "No...I need to check on something. I think I'll join you afterwards." He would then head off, his usual walking pace rather quick, he would offer no one a moment. A big of a trek, but over-all, not very long. He arrived in the setting sun to see something that meant disaster.

The area around the entrance, entirely tainted. He immediately knelt down and wrote a letter to his old friend he had just passed, making a plea that he bring help. Directions were included and a note to hurry. With sending that off, he quickly descended into the Mage's Guild.

From here, it was only a struggle. His own weapon, barely under his control, he was faced with an adversary he recognized beneath that dark hood. He struggled, one thing giving him his control. What They left him with when They took his fear.

The Rage that only he could control. That which his Shade could not hamper. But in the end, as the High-Prophet he knew the true name of passed him, he could not even act to strike him down. He could only pull his Darkness within to prevent the assault upon him from destroying him. He was held in place by his enemy as he could only fall further and further back against the push of his power.

He heard her scream. He couldn't do anything.

He saw him take her. He couldn't do anything.

    He yelled her name.

    She couldn't even hear him.

    "We lost..."

  11. I wasn't aware it was from Legend of Zelda. I played the first one ever (and it's the only one I played, ages ago) , and I kinda recall jumping spiders with one eye. Do you mean those?

The picture you linked is literally something made as a tribute to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time XD

Anyway, I find it to be pretty cool and harmless. +1
