  1. Haven't had a bad experience when RP'ing with or around Susitsu. I also enjoy the 1-3 person event that he has up, the idea of making a choice and being rewarded for doing the right thing is intriguing to me. I think he'd fit the part. +1

I'd hope the implied possibility of a bad ending in my second event as well helps contrast this. I am interested in doing events for evil people to do evil things and get rewarded for successfully doing evil correctly.

Do to this statement, I am considering adding more events to explore possibilities for differing results and rewards for actions of ill and good morals.

  2. ((Translated from Blah and True Blah.))

"Do you want to know the greatest of secrets...? Only those who are chosen get to?"

    "What about Rusk'Dom?"

The Muyakelg would nod, saying "Once you drink, you will know where he is."

And with that, no hesitation, Lucas Black would drink from the pool of blood.

    ------------

    Before:

He had received a letter to meet before the Rex's palace from Rusk'Dom, having been discussing a way to gain power to fight The Undead before. Rusk seemed to have thought of something, but did not yet tell Lucas what it was. So, there he met with Sibala and another Orc-and not just any. He appeared to be a rather old Shaman. He studied Lucas and barked questions at him, and as per usual, he was stoic and unswerving, answering with ease.

"You tried to fight a Daemon?"

    "Well, I certainly didn't win."

A laugh would sound from them both and as the Shaman moved to Sibala, he heard something strange...a call. One for help. He heard Rusk'Dom's voice. He immediately rushed off, telling the others, though he would not realize for a while that this call was simply a summons. One he had knowingly been waiting for.

    ------------

    After:

Pain. Unimaginable pain. His whole body burned until he couldn't feel his body anymore. Just burning. And with that, his vision faded...then returned. An empty void, he would seem to be floating in, though he could feel a solid surface beneath him. Slowly, he would move to place his hand down upon his black surface when suddenly, upon contact, a massive, red eye would open before him, shadowy tendrils reaching up to grasp his arm.

His eyes opening wide, he would try and pull away-though oddly enough, he would be able. A laugh would resound around him, booming through this darkness.

"Lucas...Black. That's the name people believe is yours, but now you have given to me your True Name. Of course, lets end the formalities. You want what I have and you have something a bit unique that I want."

"This void sure looks like something Ikuras would play with..." Lucas would rather suddenly say. To that, another laughter would sound out as suddenly it faded away. Back again to the cave in which he had been left, but the eye remained apparent and open upon him. Slowly standing up, he would realize rather quickly that he was standing up from his own body. Blinking a bit, he would look down, muttering "That's new..." He would then raise his gaze to this eye and take in a breath.

"You have received a great many fitting sacrifices from me, Ixli. I am the first to have begun evoking your name in a long time and with such a fading presence and respect upon this realm, and the first thing you do is ask for my sanity that I regained after so long? What foolishness for one existing Immortality."

A distant rumble would sound out, the insults obviously having been considered, though what it truly sounded like was a groan.

"I will not waste my time with games then. It seems you have come here knowing exactly what you sought and exactly what I would give. I am at war here and out there, as are all the other spirits. Just as Veist, I have need of a champion and you are one who embodies everything that I am. Iblees provides the world with the perfect sacrifices and I seek all there blood to be reaped in my name."

He would nod once and say "I will be all that you covet in the world of my kind...as well, I have an interesting proposition for you..."

The eye would narrow just a bit, asking "Oh?"

    ------------

    Later:

He would awaken slowly upon the docks of The Warnation, covered in blood and water. A voice spoke to him and told him of where to go, but his body suffered too much to clearly see nor hear. It would be a while, but eventually he would rise and proceed to the tent of The Rex where Rusk'Dom would be waiting for him.

It is then that it would be revealed he has received the true blessing of Ixli. The Immortal Spirit's chosen champion not only to fight The Undead, but to spread his name in this realm. Power was to be gained once more and all The Immortal Spirits were beginning to choose those most fitting to their name.

  3. I have some stuff on Daemon blood Ive never really written up. Same as having Aengul blood, really. They shouldn't have anything special, maybe just personality aspects that are specific to their patron Daemon. At least that's what Ive done.

  4. ((Hey look...I can actually begin enchanting on a character that's supposed to be an enchanter. Now it's not just being hoarded by a few VERY SPECIAL PEOPLE. Heh, heh, thanks Goldrim.))

Castor grins as the man and says "You are one of exceptional generosity...thank you." The Red Mage would then immediately be off to delve into these secrets and learn as much as he can.

  5. ((wasn't there some kind of rule that said you can't have your characters interact with each other? August being one of your characters as well...))

Scylla watches the man walk by, blinking, then snickering at his misfortune. "Hah...sucker." She mutters.

((*Remembers that time he and August pointed out Seiya and went "Isn't he a cultist?"*))

  6. 1. As if you are playing your character, how do you feel about the Undead? Be honest.

    Lucas Black: "My eternal enemy..."

Castor the Red Mage: "I...don't wanna meet them."

Valaskar: "They're wiping out my food supply...quite the problem those ones are, aren't they?"

    2. As a gamer, how do you feel about the Undead's conduct?

Ive experienced a play-to-win OOC attitude that has caused me actual anger at some of the actions they have done that were unfair RPly and what I would consider an abuse of mechanics.

    3. Provide single words be they nouns or adjectives to describe what you think the theme of the Undead is.

Corruption. Destruction. Chaos. See what I did there?

    4. What is your view on the management both in-character and out-of-character?

It seems as though they have completely ignored the fact they have not only butchered lore, but RP for The Shades. When a magics purpose is to entice a mortal with a unique power that an Undead cannot use to try and get them to serve, The Undead should not just suddenly have said power to every single one of them, especially when it is a unique thing for those not connected to Iblees.

    5. The theme that the majority of players/gamers [OOC, not IC recognition mind you] have seen in antagonists can be described as dark, "blood n' guts", gloomy, insane. Do you believe that these are adequate descriptors and if so, are you bored of it?

I feel as though I have seen far more subterfuge than others realize. People don't seem to realize there's always something happening behind the scenes. Refer to the taking of the Dwarven capital. The regular attacks just seem to be that...keep the fear up...keep the veil up...so no, I don't believe that is an adequate descriptor.

  7. (( https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/118181-a-flayed-corpse/ ))

    Mordeqai was once his name.

For his wife, was that who he did this for?

It's too bad that doesn't matter when you server The Betrayer. Another, flayed, and hung out to dry within the city. A persistent bunch, it seems. Though, this time, the flaying would seem more precise. Rather than with a knife, it was done with an instrument meant for cutting into skin with clean cuts.

The cuts would almost seem like surgery, leave out the face, which was done with a dagger.

This time, it was just entertainment. The last one, obviously an act of rage.

Whoever was doing this wasn't just doing it out of emotions anymore. It was a game. A time-passer. Such would be quite obvious in the new note, much smaller than the previous.

"He was fun, I wonder who's next?"

  8. Valaskar? Maybe it was Fiyem'ehier. No, no, some know him as...Acaele'athri.

What an odd thing, but this ancient Elf, though showing no signs of age, was indeed reading a book. He would slowly lower it with a frown, glancing towards the source with a look of...confusion? No, better yet, he seemed interested.

The dark haired Elf would slowly place his bookmark where it belongs and close his book, obviously patient as he made sure no page was creased and treated with respected. Slowly lowering the book into his lap, he would fold his hands together over it and smile, looking over his shoulder as he asked one simple question,

"Where are you waiting for me?"

((This would be my very new character, been waiting for the skin to play him with for months. He is an approved Imp Parasite, as I'm taking this on for Voidsoldier at his agreeing.))

  9. Gida? Naeri? ...Or Kryal?

It seems in the end, she chose Kryal.

The skin and corpse are hung together in the Capital of Corruption, the new Empire of Khorvad. One of their neighbors, companions, allies. Maybe even friends if cultists could feel that way.

Regardless, it was a Fallen Cleric, corrupted by Iblees who chose this path rather than savior. Her lies seen through, her skin was separated from her body.

    Flayed.

The skinless corpse and the bodiless skin, both dripping with blood overhead of the town were a grim reminder that to follow Iblees was to be shown no mercy. Written in blood beneath where the corpse hangs is well written letters, obviously the corpse being the source.

"If you follow Iblees out of fear, then I will give you someone new to fear."

"I will destroy all that follows Iblees without mercy. I will bleed every last one of you dry until your suffering no longer entertains me. I will fell all Undead, I will entertain myself with the slow torture of every cultist, and I will not be sending your souls to Iblees."

"If The Undead want souls to harvest, your souls, then I will take what is theirs. The Spirits shall lay claim to every drop of your blood, every ounce of your strength, and every last one of you will be a sacrifice to them, denying Iblees his or her supposed right to your life-force."

"Fear not your God, for my ire is far worse."

It would seem almost every ounce of blood was used, save for what is still just dripping.

  10. Lucas Black would watch in disappointment, his expression only showing how pathetic he really thinks they are as these Orcs try and preach while standing alongside The Undead, those who pride themselves upon deception and manipulation.

Standing beside Rusk'Dom, he would simply motion silently, ushering for them to back up their challenge as The Warnation prepares for not attack by Orcs, but by the pets of Iblees known as 'minions' and The Undead.

  11. I'm actually quite glad people aren't simply ignoring my bad times and are making it aware they aren't supporting me for only good reasons, but because they know they trump the bad ones.

Honestly, one of my hopes is to manage to be able to change some opinions of me that occurred during a very bad time in my life. I really came back to LotC during a time I was just kind of suffering and now I'm two states away from anyone I used to know and living with some roommates.

    Things are much better.

  12. Yet, I pose a single question to you: would you be willing to give up the time you spend forging relationships and enjoying RP on Lucas, so that you could do ET work?

Well, the funny thing about that is...I decided to finally make the ET app after all these months because I have far too much time as Lucas Black. I spend a lot of time walking aimlessly and staring at walls until I get idle kicked then log back in, wishing I had a way to find people and RP with them, and not even as Lucas.

As well, Ive been planning for a very long time reasons to slowly cut down my time as Lucas, so the answer is yes, I am in-fact already prepared to do so.
