  1. *The hawk Dawnfeather lands on your shoulder, with a big bundle of parchments stuck to his feet. You take one of the parchments, and starts to read*

    Greetings!

I am Sting Surion, owner and keeper of the tavern and inn The Moon Jewel, located in the Elven Forest of Elandriel. I hereby invite you to a big feast, in honor to Aegis and to celebrate our continuous lives here in Asulon. Everyone is invited to the event, which will take place at the inn. Spread the word to friends and family about this occasion.

The feast will be had in two weeks ((Tomorrow, Saturday, 10 p.m GMT+1, 6 p.m EST)).

Elandriel, the Elven city, is located to the east, over the ocean.

    Your humble servant,

  3. Hello you all! I am now one of you *smiles*

I can be a nightwalker if you wish then. I do have some things to do before I can find you.

((I have an exam tomorrow which has to be prioritized ;) Also, it was some time ago I did play on LotC and I wont play very much until 2.0, but I will take a look at the current map and what you did. ))

  4. Character name:

    Sting Súrion

    Short Biography:

Sting was always a very creative and opportunistic. He often knows when he can make a good bargain or having his senses tingling when undead are around.

Several months ago he got a hard blow to the head and is currently not very well. In his feverish dreams he has dreamed about new lands and there he saw himself living to his fullest. Lets hope his dreams can come true...

((I am not playing very much until 2.0 comes, hence the dream reference =) However 2.0 gets live IC, Sting will be rejuvenated and will come alive due to his dreams coming true. I'll happily join you guys once 2.0 has launched.))

Why do you think The Walkers is the guild for you?

The guild seems to be quite professional and the current members/leaders seems quite good. I think I can have quite a good time with you!

Which branch will you choose and why: DayWalkers/NightWalkers?

I think I could help the DayWalkers out if that is needed mostly. Since I am very of much a jack-of-all-trades I can do whatever is needed. I also have some experience in building.

Which special skills will the guild have use for in you?

As already noted, I am a jack-of-all-trades. I am a very good scout though and operates very good in the dark. I am too goodhearted to not help whoever needs the help.

  5. You are welcome to join! We are about 10 active members in the guild at the moment and we are all eager to explore the new world! You may join any part as you wish, choose when you do your application. A good way too show your interest is to +1 our town application ((see the link in my signature))

((I'll write you a reply Polcari as soon as I am at my computer! But thank you so far! ))

I already did sign it =) What sort of walker do you need most? I can do whatever needed *smiles*

  6. Heya!

How are you guys doing? I'm looking for a good guild to join as 2.0 gets live. I would love to be something of a sneaky member of the guild if I am to join, probably of the night walkers. How many members do you have and what goal does the guild have?

    Regards,

    Sting Súrion

  7. I grant you luck. Tis a hard world out there, and even I failed to help set one of these up ^^

I think it can be very hard to set up a town like this with the economy flowing. But I will help out as well!

(I have to make villain app, get accepted and then get accepted here first though, but I look forward to try and hopefully help you!)

  8. Thank you for bringing that up, I have edited my post with my opinion on what should happen. Please note this is solely mine, and not the decision that will take place. We will take into account player preference before making any sort of decision on this.

    Regards,

    MrZombez

I agree with you on your opinion. Only thing that could be kept is of course skills, since if a character travels to the new world or whatever, they still keep the skills.

However, if we are to create new characters for the new world, then skills should be wiped.

  9. OOC:Depends, can you stock me up AFTER the 1.9 update, as i plan to start my thing after that.

I'd also be interested in purchasing after the 1.9. Also your smooth stone is only 54 stacks per double chest so the price should be 3294.

I think the prices of stuff will shoot once 1.9+ comes out, since you can't bring any chests with you, only minas. So basically, there won't be any collected materials once 1.9 comes out.

  10. What room will be best for storing the paper? There's a few empty ones so I'll probably just try and nab one of them, but I'd rather have an official record-keeping room/library/bookstore storage area organised now, rather than constantly moving the books. I'm there NOW, will be back again soon.

There is a storage room in the basement.

  11. The site looks great. Although I do have to bring up the concern of talking distance. There will always be a possibillity of more than one class operating at the same time, especially if professors organise their own class times and run it by the administrator to book rooms (as in my job as scribe :D) there will remain a risk of an orc discussing a history lesson in broken language with a simultaneous elvish cooking class. I'm assuming that these are more preliminary than anything and the new map will be a bit larger.

Well, when having about 4-5 classrooms, we need a HUGE complex, if we are to have that in mind. I doubt we'll have that many classes at the same time in a long time. Possibly on the next map this will be possible, if we get a much bigger plot to operate at.
