  1. I am in support, as a cook, and with my diamond donator land. If I'm not mistaken, my land+his land makes a us eligible for a city?
  2. Out-Of-Character: -Minecraft Account Name: Groundhawg -How old are you?: 26 -Time-Zone/Country of Residence: Canada, Alberta, GMT -6:00 -Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes. I speak english fluently as well as french. -Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: A tall lanky witty blonde man. I pride myself on my writing skills and grasp of the english language. I have been known to be a bit of a grammar nazi, though I have been working to quell that. -How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Whenever I'm not at work, I divide my time between Dwarf Fortress, Minecraft, Sid Meier's: Pirates and TES 3: Morrowind. -How long have you played minecraft?: Since late infdev. -What do you know about roleplaying? How long have you been doing it? What kind?: I've been forum roleplaying for what feels like centuries, though in reality, only seven or eight years. -What do you expect this server will be like?: Probably more MC noobs than I can count in a schoolhouse, though I have some faith that proper RP rules will be enforced. -What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I haven't played on other MC servers since KLRP (Kuuichi's Light Roleplay) back in early Alpha. It was a small, ten to twenty man RP server where RP was 24/7. Eventually after Kuuichi and I combatted a few patches, the frequent RPers ended up not being able to cope with the downtime, and the server promptly disbanded. Kuuichi and I have tried to rebuild KLRP a few times since, but discovered Minecraft had become ever popular among youth who can't tell IC from OOC, despite being tested on it in the application. -Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? What about the lore?: I have read both, and am willing to agree to the rules. -Name the 4 races on this server. Humans, Dwarves, (stinky, tree-humping) Elves and Orcs. -How did you hear about us?: Reckreations youtube video. -Did you vote?: I did not. I will not give my support to a server that I haven't even seen! Provided the server is of any quality, I will vote. -What was your favourite Law?: The law that states "-You must keep in character" as I despise in-game OOC chat. -What was your least favourite Law?: No law's stand out directly, though I did note that OOC chat is allowed in-game, which is fine, but I would prefer otherwise. -What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name? Groundhawg In-Character: -Character Name: Gorund Nilcagith. Nicknamed Groundhawg. -What is your Race?: Dwarven. -Biography: Raised by a human step-father and his dwarven mother in a shack deep within some forgotten forest. He grew up a strong and hearty fellow. His step-father was a bard by trade, and Gorund quickly and easily learned to play the lute. He would often sit on his small bed and listen eagerly as his father regaled the dwarven boy with stories of great heroes and mighty dragons. Gorund absorbed these stories like a sponge, and could probably recite them without forgetting a single detail. Eventually, as any child reaches a reasonable age, Gorund left home, left his sobbing mother and proud step-father, to go out, and find his place with his dwarven peoples. He knew he had no real father, and knew his mother kept no secrets about his father's recklessness during the cave-in that killed him. His father wasn't doing anything honorable, or heroic, he was simply singing so loudly that the cave-in fell behind him, eventually working it's way to where he was happily mining, crushing and killing him. Gorund thought it unjust, but he had a good step-father to raise him in his father's stead. When he finally reached the nearest dwarven settlement, he was sent on an expedition to found a dwarven fortress. It was to be called "Drumportal". In the early weeks of travel, he was elected the expedition leader, due to his native managerial skills and ability to make any of his expeditioners laugh. I won't go into too much detail here, as much is to be told, but the elves got distressed by the deforesting that the dwarves did, and eventually launched a raid, Gorund barely escaped the ruined fortress with his life, and the ruins have been lost to time. Gorund did much with his time and eventually settled down to bardship, occasionally dabbling with mining to make an extra buck. -Character Age: 58 -Character Appearance: His blonde mane of greasy hair, is dotted with the occasional grey line as he ages well. His face is ragged and scarred, bearing a mighty beard. -Character Personality: Fat and happy with an above average upper body strength. When he's not drinking or entertaining others, he can usually be found mining. -Your ambitions: A quiet and peaceful life, earning money for his trades. -Can your character read or write?: He is very literate, a grandmaster entertainer, a skilled consoler, a novice bookkeeper and adept manager. -Can your character mine?: It is his secondary trade, after his managerial skills. -Are you a capable builder? He is less capable of the construction himself, and so relies on others for his construction needs. -Can you wield a sword?: Simply put; no. He tried his hand at military as a bowman, but it never came to anything. -Enjoy Farming?: From time to time. But not as a main trade. -Does your character have any special skills?: He plays musical instruments and knows many stories that he loves to share. -A screenshot of your skin: -Other Information: I gave up my search for a decent RP server quite a while back. But a video about your server appeared within my sub box on youtube, and some hope has been renewed. I hope you can live up to my expectations!
