  1. Need more high fantasy out there. I personally like it. Thought he stigmata with furries, its idiotic. Not all kha were furries, not all furries were kha. Lycanthropy is also not furry. If anythign it would fall under transformation fetish, which is often seen in the furry fandom, but not exclusive to it; i.e. trannies yo.

Its fairly well written, and i rather like the idea of people having to fear the night a little bit, and the chance of adding it to accusatory remarks alongside witchcraft.

  2. Are you guys just bringing back everything that everyone hated or something? Because legit, nobody wants this. Having freedom of growth for characters and their teachings really helped the server. People could react as the character would in extreme sitations without people oocly stonewalling because the person doesnt have a VA.

Litterally, this is one of the stupidest things you could do. Why.

  3. I am willing to manage the library, and would happily like to be hired. I've lots of prior experience. Signed, Mithras Sylvari

We'd absolutely love to have you. Do stop by at any time you like to have a look around the facility. The library is in the South Eastern area of the center, with living quarters beneath or possibly above if so chosen to switch them. If its too your liking, simply find miss Chien and we'll give you keys to the building.

  4. Chien Family Health Center prides itself on having a beautiful facility for its patients and customers to relax in, and while on its own nature can provide some rather enchanting glens, sometimes it needs a little help. Our facility is in dire need of that special touch that only a druid can produce! We'd love to have a few druids to come here and encourage our saplings to grow higher, and our flowers brighter! Help us bring a little extra magic to our facility!

Contact Ida Chien if interested! [Pm DecotheLamb]

  5. Chien Family's Health Center is due to soon open, but there's only one problem.. We don't have anyone to cook delicious food for our patients or take care of our library and fill it with wonderful books! Experience isn't needed, but favored, and housing will be provided on location. Employees are paid 300 mina per week, with bonuses dependent on performance.

To inquire about employment, send a letter to Ida Chien [DecotheLamb], or stop on by at the health center, located on the southern coast!

  6. This rollback thing completely broke my inn. I lost all my pet chickens, all my decorative heads that were a female dog and a half to get to begin with. All my flowerpots are broken, all my paintings and item frames are broken and gone. I've lost at least a stack and a half of leather in item frames alone. And now I'm probably going to lost the stack and a half I had to use to replace them the first time.

I lost all of the books I was just given, all of the renamed items I had put together for my teas and khafees for roleplay. All the wool that was renamed and recolored to represent Puxies are gone. All the money i made from today and the day before, and my voting is gone.

GG. I honestly dont even know how to twist the roleplay to explain the vanishing of all this stuff.

All throughout Athera everything was as it normally is. Towering cities nearly empty, handfuls of people drifting back and forth through roadside taverns and backwater villages. Completely ordinary and completely mundane. But on the breeze, a sound was carried; a shrilly yipping and pattering of tiny paws. As eyes turned to the roads, the gates, even their own bedroom doorways, an intruder had appeared. Not a menacing orc, or red-masked thief, but a tiny little fluffy puff of a bandit.

The small critter dashes up to the first person it sees, excitedly bouncing on its stubby legs. Spinning and twirling it yaps excitedly, pawing at legs before bouncing off, leaving a small scroll where it once stood.

  8. Go look at 'Fawnlings' on Deviant art. You could probably pull inspiration from there on future drawings. Maybe the crystals can cause some crazy antler variations? Would allow for some individuality behind them. Or perhaps the feathering is possible as well? Maybe there can be patterns in the crystal growth as well?

Also a thought occurred, if the flowers and creatures are basically salt crystals, would rain bot melt away at them? Maybe they have a natural fear of water because they could melt? I didn't realize this when reading the previous sets of lore, but my eggnog swirled mind just recalled that salt dissolves.

    And again on the crystals, is it possible for there to be variations of color? Even if it is salt, salt comes in a lot of colors;

    YaxwCTC.jpg

You could potentially have pink variations of the deer, these flowers, and the cats, depending on what crystallization of salt makes up the batches of the flowers they eat.

  9. I'll give you credit that the artwork is rather nice, and the crystal aspect is interesting. As I've said before I love the flowers [i think you should also add trees and vines to this concept]. However I have some points of curiosity.

What causes the salted flavor? Are the flowers chemically made up and are actually cyrstalized salt formations, not plants at all? I haven't re-read it in a bit so I'm curious there.

On the hardness of the horn, and the horn itself. If it's simply a crystal covered horn, I would assume there is bone underneath like a normal horn. Since they are based on deer, do they shed their antlers in a seasonal cycle like normal deer? Might be interesting to find shed antlers, and smaller creatures like mice could eat the bone out leaving a hollow or near-hollow horn. Lovely for decoration or something I would suppose.

And on the horn itself, does eating the crystal cause the antler to fuse or will the diet as they grow cause a different growth pattern? And do the crystals cause the tail to extend and plume? Since you said if they didnt have access to the crystal its just a normal deer, which this creature truly doesn't appear to be save for its bodily frame.

Also what causes it so that only elves and halflings can ride them? If its the statement that they are fragile, could small children of other races not ride them as well? Or petite/female humans? Or are they just sentient and make this choice, if so what bases this choice? ARE THEY RACIST?! Could a druid commune with them possibly?

On the aspect of birth size. i see that they're based on deer quite obviously, and very obviously there is pull form the mythological Kirin or Qilin, which makes me question how they could manage to hold that many young unless they have some kind of pocket demention inside them. 1-2 would probably make more sense, at least in my opinion.

Also are those solid hooves or cloven?

    After those questions, I have to ask this. Have you ever heard of Glenmore? Other than the crystals, your creation is very similar to the deer that reside within that little story-rp thing hosted on DeviantArt. Very beautiful stuff, I recommend you check it out. And that leads to my other question;

Is there a possibility of color variations within the crystals? Could there be some that are more golden or more violet? Or do all of them share the same basic hue with slight variations in saturation?

  10. I remember a long time ago when I had Miian, and hung with the dwarves, I never responded to being asked something in ooc. If someone asked in TS, i would tell them "Ask me in RP."

The dwarves at the time hated it, but it worked. If they wanted anything from me they had to ask in roleplay, and I would pursue them in roleplay. Its not forum posts that will draw them into it, its you. Try holding events, send IC letters through forum PMs requesting things, or prod people to get their butts on so you can go find them and rp.

    Lead by example.

  11. For eons humans have walked side by side with wolves, they have been constant companions, protectors, and fellow hunters. Time and time again we breed the most favorable of these majestic beasts, creating unique hounds more suited for the task at hand. Some better at tracking scent, others a stronger bite, still others with great height. We shape them and mold them to fit into the purposes for which we desire.

The Puxie is a breed developed not for hunting, or fighting, or guarding. No this is not a fierce creature at all, thought it would claim far different if it could speak. Barely a foot tall, these balls of fluff were bred for one thing, and one thing only. To be adorable.

With thick, fluffy double coats and large expressive eyes, the Puxie endears itself to others with its cute round face and petite frame. Highly social, they bond quickly to humans, and demand constant attention. They’re intelligent, but rather headstrong, leading to some difficulty in training. However given encouragement and reward, can be taught a multitude of tricks, and with their active natures, love to show them off!

However as sweet as they are, these dogs are far from perfect. A few defects are still deeply ingrained within the breed. Due to the size and shape of their head, breeding is very difficult. Often painful, and even deadly, females are usually only bred once due to these risks. Following this, the weak muscles of their face can result in an eye popping out of its orbit. So take care in hugging your Puxie, and do not allow very young children to play with them, as their delicate forms can be easily broken in the rough-housing small children are known for.

Highly intelligent and social, they demand constant entertainment. If you do not tend to them often, a Puxie will often find ways to play itself, resulting in many chewed up shoes and torn up gardens. Its highly advised to buy them in pairs because of this, as the two will play and keep each other company when they cannot settle in your lap.

Puxies are a very vocal breed, hosting a wide range of yips, barks, howls, and grumbles. Some might even assume the tiny dogs are trying to speak back to you! However if not properly trained, these tiny puffs can become noisy little terrors that will never be quiet. But, if properly tended, they can serve as wonderful alert dogs, raising the alarm when danger enters the home and informing family of an intruder.. as well as larger household dogs with bigger teeth.

Despite not being an ideal guard dog, these little pups would tell you they’re the biggest, baddest hound around. They can and will gladly throw themselves into a fight if allowed to, resulting in messy death and easy injury, so take care to teach your Puxie to heel while its young! Not only will they throw themselves into the jaws of death, but into bowls of food. Puxies are gluttons, and will not stop eating. If given an endless amount of food, a Puxie will easily eat itself to death within a few hours, so maintain a proper diet, and be careful of too many treats! Though a few table scraps now and again couldn’t hurt.

Puxies come in two varieties, the common full tail that will curl over their back, or the rarer puff tail that is only an inch or so of wiggly fluff. There is also the common brown eyes, or the uncommon blue.

    Puxies also come in a fairly sized range of colors, and these are just a few;

    White and Black:

    Seal and Golden

    LoG7abw.png

    Tricolor and Silver:

    fgwlx8O.png

    and Marble-Coated:

    f3lJ2kI.png

A note on marble coats, is that any color can be a marble. But not every color can be a solid. Ginger and Blue are coat colors exclusive to the marble pattern of Puxie. This means you could have a Seal Marble, or a Black Marble. But you could never have a Blue Tricolor, or a solid Ginger.

There is also the sad fact that most Puxies born solid white, are born deaf. So take care when selecting a white Puxie, and check to see it responds to your voice.

    Pros:

Tiny, can fit two in your lap very easily

    Fluffy, you could just die.

Very social, bond to humans very easily and love them

Intelligent, they can be taught lots of fun tricks

Vocal, can become great alert dogs

    Cons:

    White ones are usually deaf

    They're difficult to breed

They often have eye problems because of their skull shape

Need constant attention or a companion

Glutton, so you have to be careful of their diet or they'll overeat

Napoleon Complex, think they are bigger than they are

Mischievous, keep them busy, or be ready to lose your shoes.

Vocal, they will yap at just about anything, or even nothing

OOC Note: For the time being the breed will be exclusive to my character, at least until more breeding pairs are sold. If you have a male and female Puxie, feel free to breed them and sell puppies! They will be represented by a renamed wool-block in-game, since they are too small to use a wolf as their representation.
