There was nothing special to mark his entry into this world, but when Joel arrived at the Temple he heard a voice off in the distance. He couldn't place where the sound was coming from. The voice said, "Arise my child and welcome to the world of Aegis." Joel spent his first few decades in this world traveling from place to place learning all that he could. He spent many years in various schools learning all that he could. As his adventures continued he met many friends and forged many friendships. In his journeys he went to his elvish homeland, He learned about the ancient lore of the Elvish culture. He learned and mastered the bow and how to interact with nature. He learned of the peaceful nature of the elves and how the earth helps us. He also visited many small Dwarven towns. While the dwarfs were at first gruff and only willing to talk about food to the elf. Over time Joel's friendly and charismatic nature got on their better side and they showed him some of the Dwarven culture. Some of the Dwarfs even showed him some of the great wonders of the Dwarfs, He was stunned and awe-struck by the majesty and skill used in Dwarven structures. Joel enjoyed his time with the dwarfs, but soon enough he felt the urge to move on and explore more of this world. He visited many Human cities and saw the great abilities of the Human culture. They showed him compassion, strength, and love. As time passed Joel felt the need to return to his Elfish home. Joel has discovered many things in this world, but he believes that he will never fully experience everything in this world.
