-How long have you played minecraft?: Since classic, introduced to me by a friend who said it was "Lego for awesome people."
-What do you know about roleplaying? How long have you been doing it? What kind?:Roleplaying for about three years now, no real life experiences. However I was a very proficient roleplayer (I'm told) on Garrysmod (Dark RP) and I'm still playing Starcraft II on the Cortex mod.Not sure if this counts, but played basically every RPG out there extensively. As for minecraft rp, I don't have much (or any for that matter) experience with it, but I'm a fast learner.
-What do you expect this server will be like?: From what I've seen on youtube and the forums, it looks like exactly what I'm looking for. A group of mature gamers who love to RP and are active! And it's in minecraft!
-What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:I played the standard minecraft survival servers, because I'm a huge fan of vanilla minecraft with other people. After a while though, it got bland, no one really cared about the server, or interacting with the other players.
-Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? What about the lore?: Yes and yes.

-Biography: Abandoned at birth, Colin was found by a poor butcher and his wife in the fields close to their village. Despite being an orphan, the small community of less then 30 people accepted him, and he made a living helping his 'father' with his job as the butcher. The elderly couple cared for Colin as if he was their own, for they were never able to conceive their own child. Colin knew from the very beginning they were not his true parents, but that didn't stop him from loving them. It was a perfect life, for a boy who was left to die.
But all good things come to an end.
Colin, 16 years old, was tending to the livestock in place of his 'father' who with his old age, was incapable of doing so. Then suddenly, he heard the sound of screams, and seconds later, smoke began billowing up from the direction of the village, not a mile away. Sprinting, and with a heavy heart, Colin ran all the way to his home to find...nothing. Where there once was a peaceful farming community lay nothing but ash and bodies. In vain Colin cried for his foster parents, but to no avail, all the villagers had been burned and thrown onto a pile, their heads missing from their bodies. The corpses unrecognizable, Colin gave them a final burial. Then he ran.
For 10 years, he ran, stealing to survive, he joined a gang and mugged travelers for their belongings. Until one day, when his gang came upon an elderly couple, and their young grandson, not 12 years old. Escorting them were 3 Oren guards, he assumed they were nobles of some sort. An argument ensued, and Colin ended up killing his comrades to save the travelers. The guards, surprised by this turn of heart offered him safe passage to Oren. It was on this day that he had a revelation, he would work to protect the people of Aegis, so that none had to go through what he did. And with that final resolution, he began the journey to the Kingdom of Malinor. To this day he does not know who is responsible for the attack on his village, though he always suspected Orcs, and woe to any of their kind that cross his path while travelling from Kragrum.

-Character Appearance:Short, curly black hair, years of malnutrition combined with his daily physical routine lead to a muscular, yet skinny body. Clothing ragged, due to intense poverty.
-Character Personality:Since his epiphany, a friendly, soft spoken man, but it's obvious under that half smile, he has many a repressed memories.
-Your ambitions: Once a scavenger for anything and everything that could help me survive, I now seek to repent for my sins by being an upstanding citizen and friend to Humans everywhere.
-Can your character read or write?: Illiterate. Was taught elementary level reading by a school teacher that was held hostage.
-Can your character mine?:No experience in mines or with miners.
-Are you a capable builder? No, besides the occasional hideout while on the run.
-Can you wield a sword?:As a rogue and bandit, learning to use a weapon was essential, however I do not have the refined skills of a true warrior.
-Enjoy Farming?:Yes, farming was the main source of income in the village, a task which Colin enjoyed. (to the bewilderment of others)
