I came to this thread after my original idea didn’t pan out to well as I found out whilst searching the area where I planned the event to be. First off I would like to say that the ideas you have so far are really good and I was wandering if you could possibly take a read over my idea posted HERE and then take a look at the idea I have had. 1. These are to be un-inhabited islands that maybe have at most a few jungle trees on. 2. This area has a slightly higher altitude than most of the plains but not to be too extreme. They are only there to provide a little texture to the landscape and make adventure. 3. Most of the island is relatively flat with the minor alteration in height with a maximum difference 6 – 7 blocks. The reason it is covered in green is to represent the Jungle that is going to be on the island. The biome and trees are not very dense but dense enough to look untouched and have a small tribe area built within it. This jungle will cover the small hills in area 2. 4. These are extreme mountains that are mostly bare in vegetation and are expected dormant volcanos. The have caverns running through out and are rich in materials due to the minerals of the ancient lava. However they are also infested with wild beasts that many do not seem to care much about. These mountains will form a sort of barrier around area 5. 5. As shown by the drawing, this area is a small lagoon or loch that is higher than water at about 20 blocks as a waterfall rushes down the side into the sea below. This water is cut off from anything else by the high and treacherous mountains that sort of guard it. 6. With the two small natural outcrops, extruding from the island the area of 6 is a sort of natural harbour with calm waters and a haven for boats too moor in. The water here needs to be at least 10 blocks deep in the main area to provide room for the keels of the fleet.
