    • What is your availability: I am available most days from 5 pm to 12 am EST, more on weekends

    • Tell us an issue you currently experience on the server: Lack of communication between staff and players. As well, PvP as well as combat interactions in general that involve bandits/criminals vs civilian rp'ers, since it typically devolves into L-OOC bickering about who did what, what's possible and what isn't, etc.

    • How do you feel individual GMs should present themselves?: GM's need to act professionally toward players, but not to the point of seeming cold or aloof. They need to know the difference between playing around and being serious.

    • How do you feel the GM team collectively should present itself?: The GM team need to present themselves as unbiased as possible as well as capable of solving various problems that players have. However, they need to connect with the players on a personal level to avoid being labelled and regarded as a clique.

    • Please list three players who will vouch for you: @Nazdus, @Onslaughted, @Ioannis

    • What is your relationship with the members of the current GM Team?: I have a good relationship with staff members, such as Cablam, Malinor, teegah, Z3M0S, and LadyRebecca. I don't have any problems with the remaining staff members, I simply don't know them personally.

    • What are your finest and worst traits?: My best traits are that I'm not afraid to break with convention to do what I think is right, I'm capable of getting in touch with intelligent people to help on things I don't know as much about myself, and I'm good at communicating with people in general and getting in contact with people to solve problems. My worst traits are that I act on impulse and voice a strong opinion about something even if I don't have all the details, and I have a tendency to side with players in player vs. staff conflicts, which could result in conflict between myself and other staff members in the future, although I'm fairly certain it wouldn't last long.

    • Tell us about your time on Lord of the Craft: I have played this server since 2011. I was never a staff member, and I never applied for a staff position until now. I played with Orcs in Aegis and Asulon, then with House Silverblade and Orcs when I rejoined in Anthos. I played as a Harbinger minion in Anthos, then a human in Athera, followed by holding a high position in the Undead in Athera, after which I was a Dunamian through Vailor, after which I became a Dwarf, which I have played for the last year or so. By and large I played the server for its PvP aspect, though that isn't to say I never roleplayed, because I did quite frequently. As such I have a lot of experience with PvP, which I intend to use to improve the various PvP aspects of the server, including banditry and raiding. I also have experience with skills, which I became heavily invested in during Athera, Vailor, and Axios. I have my own ideas about that aspect of the game as well that I'd like to have an affect on as GM.

    • What parts of the server are you most interested in?: The parts of the server I'm most interested are PvP and plugins, insomuch as I'm interested in floating ideas about cool plugins to developers and coders to help improve the overall player experience.

    • Other than yourself, who of the current applicants would you like to see on the GM Team?: Nazdus, Onslaughted, and Ioannis.

    • Link me a good song:

  1. Officer Grudgebeard surveys the battle's aftermath atop his stalwart police horse, undead gore dripping from his service boots to form a trail behind him. He lights a dark brown cigar and blows smoke rings up into the dim haze that formed over Quarryville after Mordring's retreat, one ring for every general that he'd defeated or forced to retreat - five in all.

    OOC:

the only thing i didn't like about the event was that some of the et would /heal themselves when they were low health, and one was still in god mode when the fight started

  2. 1 hour ago, The Combatant said:

"Yeh fawkin' w'ot, yeh wanneh fawkin' gu yeh panzeh?"

Dain Ireheart, an absolute savage and arguably one of the best dwarven fighters.

                        149545.jpg

Officer Grudgebeard watches Dain from afar, ready to put down dissent over the Kingsguard promotions.

  3. Officer Grudgebeard, while patrolling the streets of Kal'Omith, hears the horn blowing. He lights a cigar, rolls up his sleeves, and writes some words in a little notepad tucked in his back pocket:

"Keep an eye out for troublemakers coming in."
