  1. After a day's worth of testing and discussion, the staff team has found a noticeable issue in regards to horses. As mentioned in many general feedback threads, the state of horses is imbalanced at the moment, given that post-patch horses are far inferior to pre-patch horses. While post-patch horses muster around 10-12 speed and 25 health from a legendary breeder, pre-patch horses can have 20 speed and over 150+ health from the same skill set, making it a very unfair advantage that cannot be replicated in the current nexus environment.

Thus, we are going to prohibit horses from the warzone and see how that impacts the conflict. Anyone caught using a horse may face punishment.

Being a legendary breeder myself I have had no trouble making horses with 18+ speed and over 120 health; the reference horses you were breeding with must have been vanilla horses that were spawned in, in which case comparatively low-stat horses makes sense. Any legendary breeder with "pre-patch" horses should be able to breed horses with stats similar to or even better than the parents.

  2.

A clear example of ignorance as a result to lack of knowledge, as you seem to believe wards stops players with dark arts to go there.

This is not the case as wards weaken the target, it doesn't harm them. It inflicts no damage, no pain. It weakens them, still able to RP there but their magical abilities heavily weakened depending on the target's strength.

was going off of old undead rules where the ward over Petrus meant we werent allowed to go inside on our undead chars

on a side note that reply would have been just as informative if you'd left out that first part; saying things like that makes people feel like you're implying they're generally ignorant, which in the right circumstances can start a salt storm

  3. having been a real undead (not this necrolyte whatever) it always pissed me off when somebody told me I had to be all super-weak against special snowflake holy stuff, and had to say "ok" to being one-shot by it. I dont know about necrolyte lore or roleplay, but if it's true that they can be one-shot by regular old gold weaponry, with gold equipment being relatively easy to make and distribute, if I were a necro i'd be pretty disheartened to know that any randy rando with a gold sword can insta-pop me irp; especially considering most kids who go around looking for necros to kill in such a fashion are only interested in the idea of being the "good guy," but aren't really interested in mutually interesting role-play or giving their necro target a chance to fight back in a reasonable capacity. if thats the case then +1 OP

A middle ground idea is to make it so having smite enchanted on your sword will do more damage to a necro irp instead of having an all-or-nothing scenario in which gold weapons are either op or do nothing against a necro

  4. Daeron grabs the letter as the pigeon struts about a parapet overlooking the massive Dunamis keep, before descending into the castle's bowels. From a distance he can be heard chuckling, "Ey Richard, serjo, check it out..." as the pigeon returns to its master.

  5. Daeron sits on his luxurious bed within the Dunamis keep, overlooking his fireplace, lit pipe resting between his lips. After spending time counting out his weekly pay from Richard, he goes downstairs, eyes half asleep still, and notices Danis coming in, singed threads dotting his uniform, but otherwise seeming fine.

"Are you alright, Danis, serjo?" He'd mumble while heading for the kitchen, its stores filled to the brim with smoked bread and grilled steaks.

"Shut up Daeron, go back to your cows." Danis replied, heading up the staircase for his chambers.

    And so he did.

  6. If you have any screenshots from Aegis, Asulon, or whenever you first joined the server, post them here so we can collectively shed tears over our lost years and share fond memories of what has been touted as the Golden Age of LotC.

These in the spoiler are from Aegis, circa 2011

  7. The Overlord listens to his moles' reports of the happenings in Petrus. In particular, tales of the elaborate proceedings and pomp and circumstance displayed seem to pique his interest, though his visage remains shrouded by the shadow of his cowl.

After dismissing his underlings back to the mortal realm, he unrolls a map of the continent and waves a bony finger over the region claimed by Oren, leaving Petrus circled and the number 2 next to it in blood.
