Why not fight a war because of the scarcity of resources caused by the undead? Oh lets say, because of the undead various resources (iron, wood, coal, etc.) and especially food become harder to obtain on a national scale causing riots in each of the respective nations. The nations come to the conclusion that there simply isn't enough resources left to be shared and only enough for maybe a single nation to thrive. Like Urara said, we take the opportunity of Oren under siege by the Undead to raid their stockpiles because we believe Orcs are the only race that truly stands a chance at outlasting and beating the Undead?

In order to come to terms with their destruction Rekkar has developed a borderline sociopathy. This way Rekkar was not disturbed by the destruction of his previous clan as he thought they were incompetent and would only hinder his own progress. That soon became the downward spiral trend of Rekkar's policy of sacrifice to gain power. Coming from a nomadic clan meant that Rekkar had encounters with other civilizations from a young age. His views on other civilizations and their advancements while his clan remained stagnant grew a loathing of other civilizations. Rekkar has served as a mercenary, both as a soldier-strategist and an inventor. Rekkar soon set off on his own seeking to expand his knowledge in many fields: architecture, agriculture... and even warfare constantly in the pursuit advancement. Rekkar's Motivation: Rekkar believes the orcs are falling far behind the other races.
