His father had debt to the warriors guild (kilopo was not aware of this) and the only way to survive was to leave their only son kilopo behind because lack of supplies. His parents left during the night to make sure they didn’t see his face when they left. The last thing they ever said to their sleeping son was “We only have enough supllies to feed your mom and I including our special little guest (unborn brother)” He was alone, scared, and hungry only 10 years of age. He turned to a live of thievery and injustice. By the age of 15 he was accepted into a Thieves Guild. The leader, Payne loved and cared for Kilopo taking him in as a son. One cold day in late November Payne and the crew were heading out to steal the Rotolo Amulet. The Rotolo Amulet was the most prized possession in the entire land and as Kilopo finally touched it he had not realized that the guards were already on him. Rather than staying and admitting defeat Payne burst out into the guard to save the rest. Payne was killed along with the others except for Kilopo. Kilopo kept the amulet as a memoir of payne, his foster father. He never stole again for fear of ending up like payne and the others.
