I also have yet to hear fortday. Anyways, fortday isn't really practical IMO because it is too close to fortnight which is 20 IG days or about 4.5 hrs if i'm not mistaken.

I am currently living at darkwood in which is just a little bit away from a vanguard outpost. I have a completely clean record. I only kill if provoked or if ordered to do so. I feel that, due to the recent undead attacks as well as threats from rogue thieves it is necessary to protect that of which is mine and of fellow elves. I was brought up learning that every elf that does not hinder society is a friend, and i wish to protect all my friends in the great city of Laurelin. That is why i feel it necessary to join the Vanguard. I am not the strongest, or the fastest, the stealthiest, or the most strategic person in the world of aegis, but i am willing to serve, willing to protect, willing to take orders, and most of all i am loyal to the great nation of Malinor and also to the great city of Laurelin. Is there a way we could create more, cheaper, houses for newer, poorer elves such as i? If not, could we put it at least on the things to do list?

Rather than simply vanishing into thin air, it seems as if the pigmen we once knew can now transform into a being thats main weapon is fire. This i have witnessed myself. An evil band of bandits raided his small nomadic village in search of the elf queen. The elves fought for their lives, using only what was present. but roughly fashioned spears, arrows, and bows was not enough to push back the oncoming raid. They were simply outnumbered. Albirich's Mother Anya died while she was in the heart of the battle. She was the commander of the 5th battalion of archers. They were able to hold off the attack long enough for Anya to cast a teleportation spell that teleported young Albirich to the Elven Capitol. Most of the Village died or fled to the wilderness that day, never to be seen again. But not Albirich. Upon arrival at the elven capitol of laurelin, some elves came upon him. they took him into their home. Albirich grew up in the Elven Academy from then on. He was entranced by the beauty of the city. He was taught in his elementary years how to simply wield a sword and a bow, but later was introduced to the complex study of battle tactics and potions. Through his independent study he has mastered the use of the bow. He has currently specialized his studies in the art of Stealth. He considers mining as a hobby, as a way to pass time and find gems. From then on he was inspired to learn as much about everything as he possibly could. At age 10 he was an accomplished swordsman. At age 12 he mastered the Bow and arrow. Finally at age 16 he started working with magic. As he is 17 now, he is not only able to defend himself but is also able to fight and kill without much resistance from his conscience, due to the murder of his mother.
