I also love roleplaying games, and anything fictional. How much time could you be on the server weekly?: A lot, at least a hour a day. What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: I think roleplaying is when you take on a role of a character you create. You can then forge your own adventure, and make decisions based on your characters personality,and traits. In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is when you use information your character shouldn't know, like when you see someones IGN through a wall and you yell out that they're there. Powergaming for example is when your fighting someone and you says "stabs through the heart your dead" What do you expect this server will be like?: I think it will be a very fun rpg server from all of what I've heard about it. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: i'va never played on another role playing server, because i didn't know they existed till recently. I've tried many faction servers though, leaving because my faction members have abandoned me. Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes. What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: Rockster207 In-Character: Nithron Faeron Character Name: Nithron Faeron What is your Race?: Elf Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): In a small house just outside of laurelin, a woodelf has just been born. Its whining and crying, in his mother's arms. She manages one word "Nithron." Here eyes close and she leans back dead.Nithron Faeron was born tragedy already stricken him. 100 years later "Nithron!' the man called impatiently. "yes?" he answers as he runs up to his father. Come it's time for your archery lesson. The elderly elf hand nithron a small bow and a few arrows. Nithron readies his bow, steadying his arms, slowing his breathing. The arrow whistles from his bow, missing the target by a mile. The elf drops his head in disappointment. The elf's father tells him its alright, it just takes practice. Nithron nods. They walk back inside preparing dinner. They sit down and begin to eat, and his father starts to tell him about his day at the shop, and how some slobbering orc tried to cheat him out of a hundred minas. Nithron enjoys his fathers stories about his shop. They're normally quite interesting because they live in the middle of a crossroads, and get all sorts of visitors. He's seen every race and all sorts of people from rude and disgusting, to pristine gentlemen. He hoped he would run his own shop. Nithron is fascinated by the natural world, from the brightly colored flowers to the gorgeous gems in the ground. he also loves, all the animals around, even the smelly pigs. 200 years later An arrow whistles towards the practice dummy with deadly precision. The arrow lays in the dummies forehead, a perfect shot. Nithron his father shouts. rushes over to see his father. He holds a huge pouch. His father tells him that it's time for him to start his own adventure. He hands Nithron the pouch, "this should get you started. Now go my son go visit the wonders of aegis." Nithron doesn't know what to say. The pouch seems to hold the elderly elf's entire life savings. Nithron is a bit scared, but know his father is right that it is now time to leave the perch.He thanks his father for everything ,and promises he'll come back to visit. He packs up his clothes, some food rations, his bow, and all of his arrows. He doesn't wish to harm anyone, but he doesn't want to be robbed by a thief either. Steps out onto the small porch of his home, and prepares to begin on his new journey. Your characters ambitions: Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Nithron glances over, and sees 2 thugs tormenting an elf. He jumps behind the nearest tree. Drawing his bow he focuses on the first bandits knee. He takes aim and fires. The bandit falls to the ground in pain. The second bandit confused about what just happened looks around for anyone in the area. While the bandit is looking around the Elf knocks him on the backside of his head with the hilt of his knife. The elf is now looking around for his savior, but he'll never find him because Nithron has already left, seeing that the elf was unharmed, and continued walking down the road. Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? Hello. His father worked in the mine, in the small town the lived in. Everyday his father would bring back small amounts of what he had found in the mine, he'd brought home a shimmering bright yellow ore, which nyrok later found out was gold, a sparkling light gray ore, iron, and he'd melt both these into bars with coal. Nyrok hated coal it was so bland and boring, although Nyrok understood it's usefulness it didn't compare to the other spectacular shining ore. Nyrok was always disappointed when that's all his father brought home. One day though his father brought home a small green gem, though it was small it was shimmering more then all the other ores his dad brought home. Nyrok was shocked at how beautiful it was. He begged his father to let him keep it , but his father had only brought home coal for 2 straight months and they were running low and money, and his father told him they need the money not looking happy about selling it at all. When his father did take it to the market, it was amazing, everyone seemed to want the precious gem, and bids were flying everywhere, but a creature he'd never seen before had bought it for extremely high price, but the creature was too happy to care at the moment about his wallet being empty. Nyrok and his father stumbled home with all the minas they had received. When Nyrok got home, he asked his father about the creature who bought it. He told his son about the creature with pointed ears and very colorful hair, apparently the creature was an elf. nyrok had never heard of such a being, he wished to know more about these "elves." Not one Elf came back to his tiny village. As the years went by, Nyrok inherited the family businesses, mining. Nyrok loved his job, although it was very tiring he never seemed to care, because each day he was getting stronger, he could feel it. The shimmering ore still took his breath away, every time he would find it. he even learned to love coal, just finding something filled him with glee. His life long dream though was to find another green gem, even if he could find only one he would be satisfied. At the age of 60 years old, a truly horrible day came, his father was dieing by a terrible unforgiving disease. Before he died though he told his son to escape this stone prison, to go explore the upper world, to shape his own destiny. Coughing up blood his father slowly lays back his eyelids close, and he's gone. Nyrok sobbing, remembering his final words.. Nyrok takes the next week off, and finally decides to do what his father says. He packs up his thing and head towards the exit of the underground village. He takes his first steps out into the sunlight, blinded by the light momentarily, and hes amazed at what he sees. He takes in his surrounding baffled by the bright red rose,and ll the green plant life. And so he sets out on his journey... "of course he thinks to himself, it's an elf, trying to remember the one he saw long ago.He feels sorry for the creature, then he looks closer.. "it can't be " he thinks to himself, but it is. The exact same elf from all those years ago. At that instant he leap into battle. Although he has no weapons training, he is strong from all his time in the min. He swings his pickaxe nailing the first bandit in the head, he falls dead. The other one takes one more glance at him and, then turns and runs for the hills. The elf falls, a large cut across his arm, his wound is very serious. Nyrok finds the closest home around and request assistance from the elderly women. Another odd creation taller then nyroc, but not an elf for she did not have pointed ears. "No time for that" he thinks he must heal the elf or he shall surely die. he bandages up the wound,and waits for him regain consciousness, for he has many questions to ask him. I was raised by my parents until an unfortunate cave in ended their lives.Since then I've had to grow up on my own, doin miscellaneous jobs to get enough money for food. Now I work as a miner, terrified, that I will die the same way as my parents. Although his life has been full of hardships he is still kind and hates all of those who pick on one another. Soon I will escape this prison, and see the true world beyond the stone.
