His father, Moric Stoneblood was a fisherman in the village. And as soon as he was old enough, Gart followed in his father's footsteps. Together they made just enough minas to pay the rent of their small house and afford one meal per day. Moric never mentioned Gart's mother to his son, only that her name was Mara Glowling. Gart and Moric lived in that same poverty for 120 years when Moric suddenly died. Gart was devastated but couldn't afford to grieve. He needed to work to live. He couldn't sleep for five weeks and was mentally in bad condition. It was so bad that one day he dropped a basket of fish into Whisper lake. Gart got instantly fired because of that. The dwarf decided to leave the Whisper Isles and trek around Aegis. And he did so for 132 years, but then he sought a place to settle down. When he arrived in Kal'Urguan he felt calm and happy. He wants to find a job and fot in society. Therefore he decides to join the smithing guild and the Starbreaker clan. Gart is 253 years old now. He has dark-grey hair and beard. He wears a traveling tunic that belonged to his father. Gart is a calm and collected dwarf, he will never immediately rely on violence to solve a problem. Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Gart thinks it is unfair that one elf has to fight against two bandits. He tries to talk the bandits into leaving. If that doesn't work he will help the elf fighting the bandits. Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? Gart browses the shop's goods for food, since he can't afford anything else, when he finds two apples. "I'll have these apples" he answers. "that's a fine choice, sir," says the merchant, "that'll be 100 minas." "100 minas?" Gart asks, "isn't that a bit too much?" The merchant replies: "that's the extra fee for dwarves". Gart looks calmly at the merchant and says:"you've got two choices: Or you sell me these apples at the normal price, or I buy them at the next shop I see.
