  1. Noticing the poster on his walk through the Temple Grounds he narrows his eyes and begins to curse under his breath. Returning to Holm some time later he places guards in front of the guild hall, and in the guild itself. Underneath the posters on the guild hall, a new one is put up. "Anything taken will be considered stolen, and you will be killed on sight." King Cethis Vincrute
  2. It hasn't been doing well, I have been a bit busy dealing with my RL and it has taken its affect. In a few days though I will begin advertisement, getting people hired, ect.

  3. Taking one of the fliers from the boy he returns later with a note, handing it to the body hoping it will reach Uthor "I wish to discuss a large trade deal with you, having most of the things you wish to buy. If you would, send a bird to Holm addressed to Cethis." -Cethis Vincrute
  4. A Messenger arrives carrying a small note with the seal of Holm, upon it being opened the messenger returns to Holm "I, King Cethis Vincrute wish to partake in the individual tournament."
  5. Stopping by the temple he checks the board, leaning his hand up he rubs his chin thoughtfully before returning to Holm and coming back with a note, attaching it to the board he walks away, and back to Holm "All of you come to Holm, or send me a bird((Pm)), just address it to Cethis and I will get it. As for the builder, I would love to see more of your work, I have a project I need done and I will want to see what you think of it."
  6. Walking along the streets of Holm Cethis smiles as he feels the air grow warmer, shaking his head he continues his walk, folding his hands behind his back he stops in front of Botar's door raising his hand to knock he stops as he sees the note, reading over it swiftly he shakes his head, turning and walking back to his own home "Lucky son of a black-winged night stalker.."
  7. *A note is posted under the next two* "Please come to Holm to discuss this then. There you will be show around to where the mines are."
  8. * A note is left under the dwarves* I can not send a bird if I do not know where you are. If you can not figure it out from the map, there is a Holm boat at the temple docks. Just go pass the Kal'Alras boat and it will be the final one on the right.
  9. *Several posts lie around the temple, Holm, and the surrounding towns* "Holm is looking for workers! We are in need of lumberjacks, farmers, miners, traders, and builders! Each job comes with a set pay and a home. Leave a note under this, or come to Holm yourself. *Under the notice lays a list of payment, and benefits* Lumberjacks:This comes with a steady pay of 150 minas a double stack of wood. House and axes supplied. Farmers: Farmers will be given a house, and payed a steady income of 175 minas a double chest of bread. A hoe will be supplied to each farmer. Miners: Holm is full of minerals, and we need miners to get them out! Each miner will be given a home, and will be payed 100 for a double chest of cobble, and more for each mineral turned in. Traders: Holm has a wealth of items looking to be sold. Each trader will be given an amount and sent off to sell. They will be given a home, and a set percentage of the profits they make. Builders: Holm is expanding, and is in desperate need of more builders. A home will be given. A discussion will be had on how much the builders get payed for a building. The pay increases if you design your own buildings! *Under all this lays a map, showing the way to Holm, and several spots under it for notes*
  10. Cethis walks along the road in Malinor, taking in the beauty of the tree, and the surroundings.Noticing a piece of paper, he walks over to it. Reading it over he lets out a small sigh. Returning to his home he comes back some time later, pinning another note underneath it "I will buy her for the sum of five thousand, five hundred minas. Send a bird to Holm, and write it out to Cethis. ((Mc:Cethis)) I will receive it in due time. My requirments are that she be unharmed. And that the transaction happens at the Temple docks." ~Cethis Vincrute.
  11. ((Yes you did, and I did miss read that, so I apologize.))
  12. ((The only thing I have to say to that is. You said yourself their were 50 men. You never mentioned at all that they had no arms or armor until I had brought my forces, turning it against us. The expedition sails to Malinor, docking near its port. As a whole horde of near fifty individuals, ranging from wily brutes of the Orcs to the posh upper-crust of Oren marches through Normandor, the elves panic, suspecting some form of attack. The elves drop their weapons, flabbergasted why diplomacy would require a near-army of men))
  13. ((The elves did not screw up the meeting. You people seem to fail to mention that Oren brought there own men. It was never about diplomacy in the first place.))
  14. Turning back from the door he nods to Sythra, chuckling lightly as he thinks "I have no love for Oren, but if they are going to try this now. To strong-arm our allies under the pretense of diplomacy. They will not be allowed in our waters. Their boats will be stopped, and if they fire upon us. Let their own god help them."
  15. Cethis shakes his head in disgusts as Nice leaves, turning to Sythra he speaks quietly, his tone almost apologetic "I did not mean for this to happen Sythra. I just wanted to ensure our allies were safe and fine. I will be sending my guard back to Holm, but I will stay if you will let me" Bowing his head he rises from the table, turning to Titania he walks forward and whispers in her ear. Looking back he bows his head to the representative from Armaluna "Do forgive me. But I will not apologize for my actions in bringing my guard. They had brought their own, and we both know it was more than they needed. They had no intention of diplomatic talk, but instead to strong-arm the elves." Turning his body he bows his head to Sythra, motioning as he makes his way to the door, giving them enough time to make a response if they wish
  16. Rises from his chair, slamming his fist into the table he looks at the Rex, his eyes seething as he hisses through his teeth "Enough about my guard! If you believe this to be an army then your own forces must be small, which means you brought half an army here! Those "War speeches" are nothing more than me giving my men something to fight for! Something other than bloodshed and hate. Do not turn the table on them for your mistakes. You brought your "guard". I brought mine. You came here bearing arms, with Syrio's Beard! Sythra is right, is the elves choice. Not yours. You came here to talk of diplomacy, then talk. Enough about armies, enough about war. These lands do not belong to you, so it is the elves say. If you get this angry about it.. do you believe you own it? That you are the rightful ruler of it? Armaluna has its representative, let them decide amongst themselves what they want. But I grow weary of your petty insults and jabs. You seem to forget, you brought your own forces. It would have four people to make it here. Not all these men. Now calm yourself Rex, and let them speak about it." Letting out a ragged sigh he sits back down, looking over to Sythra as he waits, tapping his chair sides rapidly in his anger
  17. Growls under his breath as Holm is mentioned, raising his eyes from the table he looks at Kyral, his tone cold and his face harsh "Why Holm? Missing it's cold weather..? Or maybe your last hosts body after all. I will ask that next time, you do not mention Holm. I have to disagree with a council on it. For several different reasons. Let's say.. the silverblades found favor in Armaluna's council member, than they would hold the power over the island. I ask you what is wrong with letting the elves handle it..? They just acquired it, so they have yet to make much progress. After all, a empty city is hard to build back up. I think you would know this best Kyral, especially after what you did with Holm. I say, why not let the elves have three elven weeks to bring it back up? And if they fail, try the council system."
  18. Nodding his head to Uthor he sits, rolling his shoulder as he shifts his position, the armor making it uncomfortable, speaking calmly ,he looks at the table, tapping his fingers against his chair "I do apologize, I just thought to bring my friends aid, because I believed they needed it. My men will not cause trouble, that I can promise. Besides, war does not suit me, I just wish for Holm to become a trade nation, not one of war." Turning his head to James he nods in agreement, chuckling lightly as he thinks "That is an excellent idea that would maybe bring your kingdoms closer, I do hope Sythra will consider it. I just think you should add on one thing. No warships to be allowed near it. As Holm is closest to it, and as Uthor has stated, we are a sea nation. I do not like the prospect of warships traveling close to Holm So I do hope you understand."
  19. Shakes his head as he looks at Arn, motioning to his blade he removes his belt, lying it down on the table and sliding it across Uthor and the Rex. Turning his gaze back to Arn he sighs "Sythra did not call for them. I brought them out of worry for my friends, my family. I was called to come, but not with this force. I brought them to ensure we kept things fair to the elves. You tell me you find it well that they bring a guard force of their own, that is described as large enough to be an army, fair? You all talk peace, then let their be peace. My armies are outside, talking, trading, and drinking with your own. We are not here to fight, but rather, to talk. I give them my sword as a sign of peace. As I have said before, and say again, I brought my army to make sure this was fair, that the elves were not threatened. If I did so out of ignorance, than forgive me."
  20. Shifts his gaze to the orcs, raising an eyebrow as he speaks "And tell me, how many men are in this "Guard" of yours? I was informed you brought an army. My men number no greater than sixty. As for thinking you of blind war, I do not. I detest war, but I will not back down when challenged. Holm is meant to trade, to bring peole closer. The elves are people of peace. When you bring such a large force, it does not say peace, it says war. So I came prepared."
  21. Cethis looks around the room, his eyes traveling over each and every face in the room, lifting his hands he removes his helmet, letting it rest in the crook of his arm, smiling softly he approaches the table, bowing his head in respect to the Orcs. Turning to Uthor he gives him a warm smile and bows his head again in respect, turning to the Hightowers he grits his teeth, his eyes seething as he sees Kyral with the bunch. Turning to Sythra he walks around the table, holding his arm in front of his chest and bowing slightly. Turning to a chair he places his helmet on the table in front of it, and stands beside, looking at all of them again he lets out a ragged sigh "Greetings to you all today. I see you all decided to start without waiting for the elves allies to show. And seeing the looks on your faces, I can already assume you have seen the army I have brought with me." Chuckling lightly he looks at Sythra out of the corner of his eye, then shifting it back to look at the Uthor "My army will not attack your men, or the orcs, until they attack first. The only reason they are even here is to.. even the odds a gambling man would say. That, and to show you all that we are not going to take the disrespect you showed by bringing an army with you. I thought you were more honorable than this Uthor. I know the orcs are as well. So why bring an army, to a simple diplomatic meeting? Unless you did not mean to talk diplomacy, and rather war." Stopping he turns as Elene enters, listening and letting out a long sigh, turning his gaze back to Sythra, speaking softly in a cold tone "I would agree on Elene on most days. You know I am not one to favor war, nor will I be. But they have called my hand. They showed up to your gate, your kingdom, with a army. I have come as I was called. But I brought an army of my own. Holm will stand with the elves choice. But do not think Holm will forgive easily. Especially to those of Oren. Maybe you have forgotten, but we demanded Gideon be removed. And yet, as I pay a visit to Arethor, there he stands still in power. They have not done as asked, nor will they." Turning back to Uthor he closes his eyes, opening them again he speaks, his voice cold and his face hard "You yourself know what I speak, because it was you who promised me it would get done. I bear no ill will towards Oren, or you. But you are forcing those who want to stay out of the wars, the bloodshed. You brought an army here, claiming peace. I have brought my own doing the same. Let us see who is in the right, and who is in the wrong."
  22. Cethis rises from his chair as the warning call is made, grabbing his helmet he places it on his head, closing the visor, and walking away from the room. Rising onto the deck he gives a soft smile, looking at the tree in the distance he walks the ship, checking on his men and women. In the hold of the boat he notices Titania, sitting down across from her at the table he speaks softly, his eyes wandering around the hold the entire time. "Titania, ready the men. I want half going ashore with us, and half staying behind to guard and man the ships. Keep the archer force here as well. Give the orders to the men that they are not to strike unless the Silverblades attack first. I want no bloodshed in this, but I will not hesitate to take action for our allies." Rising from the chair he watches Titania leave, barking orders to her men he chuckles lightly as he leaves, thinking of not being on the wrong side of that woman. Walking to the stern, he stops by the wheel, folding his hands in front of him as he begins to pace behind it, speaking to Robert his voice turns cold, slowly becoming darker as he looks towards the oncoming land, and the boats. Turning away from Robert he walks back to his cavern, pulling out the sword and looking it over he sighs, laying it down on the table he begins his work of sharpening it with a whetstone, grinding the blade against it., starting to hum as he continues his work. A knock on the door stops him, sheathing his blade he leaves the whetstone on the table, opening the door and ushering Robert in. "What is it you need my friend? Have we arrived at Malinor yet? How big is their blasted army?" Robert chuckles as he pulls the cigar away from his mouth, walking to the table and sitting down he raises his feet, resting them on the table he looks at Cethis. "The army is not the issue Your Majesty, but rather, the boat they brought with them." After quickly describing the ship, Cethis' eyes narrow, having seen it enough to know what it is. Rising from the table he walks out of the room, his boots clanking on the wood with each step. Approaching the port side of the ship he looks out, growling darkly to Robert beside him "This presents an opportunity.Have the archers wraps cloth around their arrowheads. Tell them to keep a torch nearby, and await for my signal. But right now, it seems I am in need of Titania. So excuse me my friend, and signal for the two other boats to head to shore." Turning back Cethis seeks out Titania, finding her he explains the situation, and gives her quick orders, he walks back topside, watching the men as they start to fill the boat, walking forward he steps into the boat, sitting down at the middle and awaiting his companions. Titania draws near, her leather armor a striking difference to her normal wear. Sitting down she holds her bow in her lap, her quiver full of arrows. A small frown displayed on her lips as she begins to speak. "Are you sure about this? Are we ready, if needed, to attack them?" Looking out as the boat is lowered into the water, the man in the back begning rowing towards the dock, speaking softly he turns his gaze to her, his eyes softening as he speaks "It does not matter. These are our friends, our allies. Even if we can not win, we will still bring them to the nether with us. I have accepted death is something that is coming. Something that shall be welcomed. Because Titania, death never leaves you. It will take everything you love. Become your enemy, and then in the end. Your closest friend." They remain in silence, only the gentle rowing of the men breaking it. Approaching the docks the men jump out, quickly tying the boat to the docks and stepping back, the other two boats coming closer, docking as Cethis gets out of the boat, turning back he offers Titania his hand and assists her in getting out. Turning he motions to his men to follow, his white armor a striking difference from the red and blue of his military and navy. Tapping his blade as he walks he aproaches the gate, hailing for Sythra to be taken to him, turning around he faces his guard, pulling off his helmet and holding it in the crook of his arm, his sweat sticking his hair to his brow he speaks solemnly, loud enough for his guard, and the elves at the gate to hear "My men! We stand today, together! Called by our allies in this time. You may want bloodshed! You may be shaking in your boots! But is it not the brave man who fears death? The wise who knows when to strike and run? Well it is a damn good thing we are not wise men! I tell you now! Do not strike against the men unless they attack first! The elves are our brothers, our sisters! And you know how we treat family! If these curs think they will strike against the elves, strong arm them into giving up their land, then they are fools! Look to the east my friends! See our colors flying in the wind? See our flagship stationed in range? We will not go down without a fight! Because by Aeriel, family is everything to us! The end will be the day that the elves cry in agony, the tree burns, and a enemy army rests in its ground. If Oren and the Silverblades think of weak, let them taste our steel, let them taste our blood and sweat! His voice softens as he looks at all his men, having worked beside them in the field, and in the training grounds "If their is a battle today, let Aeriel welcome your soul to her. But we will not falter men, nor run. Time and time again, we have proven who we stand with, what we mean by our allegiance. I will not go back on this. And I know none of you will. Come brothers and sisters, this day we fight, this day we rejoice!" Turning back to the gate he awaits for Sythra, smiling softly, taking his helmet and putting it back on his face.
  23. Cethis raises his head from his writings, rubbing his eyes as he takes the note from the messenger he reads it over, his face quickly being masked by anger. Shaking he rises from his seat, walking upstairs he removes his royal clothing, putting on a rough tunic and pants, turning to his chest he walks over to it, opening it and removing the chain-mail, throwing it on he pulls out his armor, he raises the breastplate and begins to strap it on. The striking white armor covering him fully he walks through Holm, knocking on the doors of his guards and navy he brings them to the square, demanding their attention. Tapping his blade he speaks in a harsh tone, his eyes traveling over each and every one of his men, and women. "Men and women of Holm! I have just received word from our allies, and friends, the elves. The Silverblades have come to their land! They came to their lands, talking of peace, but behind them, stood an army! These are our friends and allies! I will not stand for them to be treated like this! To arms men! Gather your weapons and armor, half of you will stay here. Half of you will be coming with me. Those in the navy, ready the ships. All others, get ready to board!" Turning away he heads in the direction of the military district, taking the lift down, taking a torch from the wall he walks along the pathway, stopping next to Roberts office and slamming the door open, striding in he looks at Robert. Sitting up Robert looks at Cethis, his red cloak hanging on the back of his chair as he takes his cigar away from his mouth, nodding his head to Cethis he speaks in a posh accent. "Come sit down Your Majesty,a bottle of whiskey or a cigar maybe?" Cethis shakes his head as he walks to the chair, placing his hands on the back of it he leans forward, looking at Robert, his hands gripping the wood tightly and his body shaking from his rage "Not now Robert. Get your arse up above and deal with the navy, we are going to Malinor with an army, and I will explain on the way." Pushing himself up from the chair he walks away, Robert following close behind. Stopping at Titania's house he pounds his fist on the door, his voice harsh and cold as he shouts. "Titania get ready to go! Get your bow, and your armor. Your military needs you to lead it!" Turning away he walks to the docks, setting foot upon his flagship, the H.M.S. Emperor. Walking to the port side of the ship he leans against the rails, looking out at sea as he listens to his men prepare. Turning away he motions for Titania and Robert to follow, leading them below ship and showing them several of the new attachments to the ship. Leaving them he walks to the captains quarters, sitting removing his helm as he lets out a deep sigh. Placing it on the table he leans back, closing his eyes and drifting off as the navy begins piloting the ship away from the docks, two other boats following suit. Speaking softly to himself he muses, removing his gauntlet and rubbing his chin "And so.. the long winter shall end.. gone are the days they think the elves, Holm, and the others, are weak. If they do not back down.. or change the way they treat us. A fight they shall have."
  24. Waking from his nap he stretches, walking out of his house he checks the notice board, nodding his head he returns to his house, writing a quick reply he returns to the notice board, pinning it to the board "I shall come at once, I would prefer if you set the time, the only request is that it be at the cloud temple. ~Cethis Vincrute"
