Did we died? Where is everybody?

Redo of our Celtav religion(used some new graphics): Cichol -God of death, magic and the night. He is opposite to the goddess of day. He is resembled as the enormous figure that wears the robe of black color, his head is pumpkin that shines with magical light in darkness. His priests wear black robes and black insignia. His temple is made from wood and black wool, at the center stands the statue made with dark wood and pumpkin lantern. Fir -Goddess of life, light, and day. She is opposite to god of night. She is presented as a beautiful lady with body made from light that travel through the lands. Where she stands the live grow and spreads. She resides in every living being giving it the strength to live. Her priests are druids who harbor nature. Her shrines are rings of enormous stones. Sawain -God of air, storm and war. Patron of warriors and fighters, he watch the battlegrounds and search for heroes. If he sees one who is worthy, he take his life and bring him to his halls on the clouds and sky, where the hero can hunt, fight and feast for eternity. Iverni -Goddess of water, fog and wisdom. She brings blessing to those who seeks answers. She patrons over scholars and researchers. She appears as a beautiful women floating on a fog atop the tile of water. Yarih and Tera - God of the moon and goddess of the sun. Yarih is the son of Cichol and Iverni, he sail through the night shining with mysterious light and giving rest to these tired. Tera is the daughter of Sawain and Fir, with her light she gives strength to living beings during day. Two gods joined together and from their bonding first humans were born. Naleei - Goddess of hunt, trickery and sneaking. She is the deity of those who hunt and those who are hunted. She is capricious and often interfere with hunt changing sides and giving victory to whoever she decide. Inferi-God of treachery, stealing and murder. He resides in the burning lands of underworld. It’s a place where all unjust men are being banished and are being held in constant torture as the servants of the black god. Lesh-Lesser god that lives in the deepest parts of the forest. He trick those who wonder too deep into the forest and lead them to their death. Nymphs-Lesser goddesses of streams. They appear to traveling men, seduce them and drown them in their streams to feed their children that live in their waters. Dryads-Lesser Goddesses of trees, they appear only to these who they fall in love with. They leave their tree form and live among humans with the one they love. Their skin is unnaturally brown and their hair are in colors of leafs. Such dryad can life eternally among humans until her tree dies. Faires- They are servants of Fir that helps their master tend plants and animals. During night they live inside the flowers. When sun rises they set off to wake all live from the spells of Cichol. They are also known to cast chants that create love between pairs. Undead- These are the bodies of those whose soul was taken by Inferi. Their corpses stayed behind when their souls was taken to realm of suffering. These bodies are manipulated by the will of Inferi. Myths: "There was a day when Yarih stayed behind in the mortal world after his father left. He watched in awe as the daylight grew with Fir taking the domain left by Cichol. Along with her mother, appeared Tera raising from the west and flowing the lands and seas with her beam and heat. Yarih watched as the Goddess of the sun shined more and more brightly. And seeing her beauty, Yarih adoration to Tera grew stronger. But being lost in his feelings he didn’t see that the flames of the Sun overpowered his weak light. Before he realized light of the sun made him slowly vanish. It was then the Goddess of the sun spotted young God of the moon and tried to suppress her beams, unfortunately the stranger still fade away. She begged her mother for help, but Fir didn’t care for the son of her enemy and remained deaf to the pleas. In the last moment, before Yarih paid the ultimate price for his curiosity, Cichol appeared. Great was the anger of God of Death to his son stupidity. God of night summoned vast powers of his magic and banished the day before its time ended. Thus night opposed the day and covered the sun with the blackness. Cichol took his dying son to nurture him in the realms of Gods and vanished from mortal world. Great was fury of Fir but Goddess of Day weren’t strong enough to openly oppose Cichol , and the fury was the only thing left for her. Yet the story didn’t end in that place- for young children of Gods fell in love with each other. And so from time to time Yarih and Tera met when their way collided and stayed as long as they could together. From their union the first human was born. His power was great and his strength mighty. He had children with spirits and lesser goddesses thus his line spread and grew in numbers. People lived during day when Fir cared for her grandchildren and rested during night when Cichol watched over them. In time humans grew to so big numbers that it put great burden on the world. When other gods were debating what to do, Cichol stepped in. He gave people gift of death. And so every time human reach certain age he withers and dies and thus balance is kept in the word." Then its ok, did you see anyone? (Bism and sacrevarius are still hold back with some stuff, but maybe you have seen Moss, Raphael, Hannibal or Bradan?) And is there anyone who knows what happened to that girl who wanted to join village but couldnt until September?

Thats good to hear. As mentioned above I, Sacrevarius and Bism(he forgot to put it on the topic) were out on vacations, I believe Bradan and/or Variathus left for their vacations for some amount of time, I remember that they were talking about it during previous feast but cant remember for how long they will be out of server. As for others, I dont know. I hope all members will post response with their situation as soon as they can. And according to Bism, we are named Celtavs, I seem to made a mistake a while ago using wrong name: 'Ceslavs', lets keep in mind the correct one.

So, I get back from vacations and what do I see? Nothing changed, the houses are the same as they were when I left, and Drust is quitting from village cause no one attended it. So basically saying, when I, Bism and Sacrevarius leave, no one is left to play, am I wrong? And whats with this dying board topic? Can anyone that is left in the village respond to this post?

I also take a break from Lotc until 24, see you all later.

Your thirst for battle and fame is what makes you Ceslavs, that is good and well, for strong heart do not hesitate and in its certainty lay its power. But for now we should wait. The attacks of the undead are too chaotic, illogical. There is mystery in their moves and I fear there is more to it than meets the eye. We need to strengthen the Burgh, our forest, our arms and wait for the right time to ride out. For amongst the deadliest of animals is the snake which waits in tall grass, silent and unseen, that strikes unexpecting enemy at its own conditions.

Either way we will be holding feast in next 24 hours. All members should post when they will be able to attend so we can find a right time for everyone.

Lets greet Chief the proper way. I say we put on the feast tomorrow!

The First 28 seconds are just music(Normal for folk songs, its to gather spectators), then starts first verse. At 35 second goes Chorus, until 46 second, and so on. I was out for some time, its good to see that settlement prosper and is doing fine. We have a new Ceslav, Moss joined us yesterday. With agreement from the previous Wiec we will be dividing members of our comunity to 3 families/kin. Here is what we have so far(I will update this post when all members will make statement who they want to be): Baker Family: Oseric character(woman-Head of the family) she is the grand daughter of Cichol Priest: Wit(My character), Blacksmith Family: Uamignatix(Head, Sacrevarius character), His nephew: Moss character, Chief Family(Probably warriors, hunters, lumberjacks and other stuffs with wild): Koriakix(Bism character) I want other members of Burgh to think who they want to be in what family and mail me or post here their decision. When other people will join Ceslavs they will have to choose family they will be part of.

"Lesh doesnt sleep." After long day of hunting in the wilds Celtavs warriors made a camp under the trees and gathered around fire. Their rest stopped when they heard growling from the line of trees. They saw two glowing red eyes looking at them from darkness of the night. Other men would stay close to fire waiting for the sun to come up, but not Celtavs. Drawing their weapons and shouting battle crys they charged the blackness of the forest. Growls were all around them, Ceslavs keep moving in formation, hunting its pray. Suddenly Celtavs realized that they were led to ambush. They heard strange noises all around them. From the darkness emerged terryfiyng creatures, rotten part human, and part pig. With corpses of the accursed ones closing on them Celtavs felt no fear. With the cry to their Gods Celtavs fell on their enemies like sacred storm of Sawain crashes on the land. No enemy escaped slaughter, and with the damned gone, Celtavs keep hunting for the strange creature that led them to trap. Finally they spotted the glowing red eyes between the trees. Celtavs surounded the creature and when clouds uncovered the Moon, pale light showed the form of the wild wolf with red eyes glowing at them. When the crature realized it had no place to escape it changed shape and suddenly vanished. Stunned Celtavs looked at the priest of Cichol that accompanied them. "It seems we met Lesh, ghost of the forest." Said Volodai. On the horizont sun was rising. ((In the hunt participated: Wit, Uamignatix and Koriakix. The story was made from their point of view.))

Also on our first Wiec we deiced on splitting settlement inhabitants into "families". To improve both roleplaying and sense of affiliation each member will be a part of the kin with proper connections to each other(husband, wife, son, daughter cousin etc). Next post will cover the names and members of each of the three families. Post here your ideas (For example my Priest, Wit, is a grandfather of Judoc). [*correction] On the other matter, On the 22:00 UTC+0:00 we will be holding event in the burgh. That is hunt! *For those who dont know, UTC-Universal Time Clock, To calculate what time it is in your country at specific time from other time zone just search for UTC map, and add or subtract the number that your time zone shows (For example, if in Poland is 22:00(UTC+1) then in Washington(UTC-5) is 16:00). We will be trying to hold as much events as we can to fasten bonds of our community.

Today we will be holding the first Wiec(meeting) in the burgh. In behalf of our chieftan I ask all members and those aspiring, to be present there at 10:00 PM(forum time).
