Smoke casually walks past the Cultist threat on his way back to Ac'Talareh. He tilts his head at the spectacle and tells himself. "Does anybody bother to clean any of this stuff up?"

Smoke walks in the room, he tilts his head as he gives the head on the spike a slight glance. He stares at it for a moment before casually striking a thumbs up to the person who's carrying it at the moment, then walks away with attempted swaggery.

Smoke looks at the new re-organization notice. He blinks a couple of times before saying: "Isn't this our 4th-5th re-organzation...?" He walks away afterwards, carrying on with his business.

Smoke smiles as he sees his old Mindlord enter the steps. He smiles under his mask before folding his arms and leaning next to the closest wall he can find. 

"Welcome back, Old man."

I am young, but I have been training for a few years In swordplay. My archery is not the best.

I fight with a sword and shield mainly, but I am proficient with a battle axe and spear.

1.) You come across a massive ruin of ancient design,

strange sounds and lights emanate from within.

I would investigate, examining the area and take mental notes. After the area has been explored I would bring information back to others, and attempt to gather a team to go deeper into the ruins and explore for possibly rare or valuable objects and artifacts.

2.)While at a local bar you see two dark hooded figures

in the corner discussing in a whispered conversation. You can't quite make out

what they're saying but you clearly hear the word "artifact".

I would sit close by, keeping a note of everything they say. I would attempt to inch closer, trying to get within a perfect hearing distance without seeming suspicious. After getting into my place, I would either keep mental notes or write it down on parchment. After the two finish talking I wait for them to leave, and eventually they part ways. I begin to make plans of a trip, to go out and possibly find what they are speaking of.

3.)Walking down the Anthos Highway you come across a

masked man with a sword threatening a hooded figure, claiming he is a

necromancer.

I would attempt to defuse the situation if possible, no violence unless necessary. If things were to get violent, I would attempt to either take the necromancers side, or stay neutral and continue to try and break up the fight.

Trip To The North!

Shadow Regent Smoke has chosen five to come along with him on an expedition to the North to research, otherwise, life-threatening materials for the Arcane Delvers study.

If I have already been accepted into the Delver's fold. Then I mark the location on a map and return to HQ and inform my superiors. Hopefully I will be sent in as part of the exploration team. If I have not yet been accepted. I mark the location on a map and return to Abresi to seek out some of my fellows and organize an expedition into the ruin to see what ancient treasures and/or Artifacts we might find.

what they're saying but you clearly hear the word "artifact".

 

I stride over to the dark figures and make my presence noted. At which point I offer the men a round of rotgut ale. I continue to by them a few drinks until I believe them to be appropriately drunk. (I however stick to my one drink.) I then throw out the question "So...Heard about any artifacts recently?". By this point I hope that I have either gained the men's trust through friendship or that they are so drunk that they tell me regardless. What do I do with whatever information they give me? ((Same answer as question 1.))

 

 

3.)Walking down the Anthos Highway you come across a

masked man with a sword threatening a hooded figure, claiming he is a

necromancer.

 

I call out to the man with the sword "Stop! Why do you threaten this man!"

He claims that he is a necromancer.

At which point I ask the man to answer this simple question: "Has this man, in any of his practices harmed another living man, elf, orc or dwarf?"

My reaction depends on the man's answer. Should he say no then I would ask that the man be on his way and leave the necromancer be. I stand at the necromancer's defense if I must. If the man says that he has harmed another being I attempt to remove the necromancer from the armed man's hands and take him to the local authority (Delver, Enforcers, Mages Guild etc...) so that he might have a proper trial.

Orion is walking along a frozen plain when he notices a stone arch in the distance. Intrigued by it, he begins to start walking faster, eventually breaking into a sprint in shear excitement at his find. As he nears the arch he sees it is connected to a stone path leading into a large cavern with enormously tall pillars engraved with the most unique designs, and embroidered with jewels. His heart starts pounding, this must be his lucky day. Upon entering the main opening he sees a bright white light and a humming noise. He starts to move closer to its source seeing that its coming from a strange gem. Moments later he has a camp set up with no intent to leave until he has studied everything he can from this strange thing.

While sitting in the bar, Orion hears two hooded men in the corner talking. To satisfy his own curiosity he tries to listen in on their conversation. He can't hear much but does hear something about an artifact and starts to get excited. Not sure what else to do Orion gets up and walks over to the men *Orion Ventis: " 'Ello there, I couldn't help overhear something about an artifact, would you mind if I joined you on your travels to study the artifact? I wish not to take any gain or glory from you, I just wish to learn about it before you do anything with it."* *Hooded Men: "How can we trust you to that sir?"* *Orion Ventis: You have my word, and I am skilled with my daggers and bow and can help you should trouble arise."* *Hooded Men: Still I need a way to trust you, how bout you run an important errand for me first so I can check your worth."* *Orion Ventis: Alright."* *Hodded Men: "Take this letter to Abresi and wait at the bar with it, the man picking it up will find you."* *Orion Ventis: "It shall be done with haste."* Orion then leaves to go do the arrand.

Orion was wakling down the Anthos Highway when he notices a man threatening a hooded figure on the side of the road. "Orion: "Oi' Whats going on?", "Man: This here be a necromancer, I shall kill him for it." Orion pulls out his axe "Orion: Ye will put that sword down or you shall die sir, you do not kill based on ones choosings in life, you kill if your life is threatened, this man has no way to defend himself and I will defend his, trust me, you don't want that." with that said Orion would charge forward taking the blunt end of his axe to the mans stomach, making him breathless. After the man drops Orion would turn to the Hooded Figure and tell him to get out of there, that he was safe now."

I walk into the bar and hear the word "artifact." I walk towards to the two hooded figures. "What is this about an artifact?" I say to them looking them into the eyes. Obviously not wanting to tell me the information they say almost in unison. "Tell me the information or I'll see that you two will never move your legs again."  they pause for a moment and look at each other eventually spitting out the information I'm on the road again.

necromancer. I look at the man while walking down the road and unsling my bow. Aiming for his chest he sidesteps and the arrow misses. The man charges at me and swings his sword at my left shoulder. Luckily I sidestep and try to quick jab him in the gut it succeeds and falls to the ground. And I leave him there to die.

When Kai is walking down the road he sees a ruin that is lit up. He slowly goes into the ruin assuming that there are people in there. When Kai hears strange sounds he doesn't know if he should get out of the ruin or stay in. So he stays in the ruin because the more information he can get the better. When he is deep in the ruin he sees 5 hooded men who he thinks are studying necromancy. When Kai sees this escapes the ruin and tells his friends about it.

While Kai is walking through the town he spots two dark hooded men in the bar whispering to each other. Kai walks into the bar taking a sit where he can hear one word "artifact". When Kai hears this he sits in a closer booth where he can hear them a little clearly. Kai does not want the two hooded men to spot him so he puts his hood up wile drinking his vodka.

Kai would run at the attacker pushing him down. I will hold my sword at my waist  trying to reason with him. I will tell him that there is no point of killing an innocent person. If we have to fight then that's what it shall be. If I win I will not kill the masked man because I don't have a real reason of killing him.

I walk into the ruins, and listen to the sounds of birds chirping. I go to see what is inside, there are people sitting around a huge bonfire. There are men and women all talking and chanting around the fire. They see me and give me a strange look, I walk up to them to study there anatomy and log it down in a notebook. I walk around the ruins to see and strange signs and draw a sketch of them in my note pad.Then walk out after my research is done.

I would sit quietly with my engineer goggles on so I do not seem like and am trying to ease drop into there conversation. I shall use this as a disguise.  I will sit quietly thinking if I shall go over there and talk to the strange men.  I decide  I have enough strength that I can get up and go talk to them. I walk up to the men and ask " I heard one of you say artifact, Might I ask what it is?". Man 1" Oh nothing just someone told me about a magical meteor that is made of some swiss cheese rock". Man 2" Shut up man". I would ask" Well can you show me the way I am a Engineer but I like adventures do you know where I might find this.". Man 1" Aye well I was going to go but I hear some monsters guard it so Ill let you go ahead". Takes the map.

Curiosity can sometimes be a dangerous thing. But, then again, so can fear. I would enter the ruin, trying to stay focused at the task at hand; discover what was making the noises and lights, study, or if I could, take it, then leave the ruin, and inform others that would be better equipped than I of the place so that further study could take place.

Hushed voices and secrets are always so interesting, I would think. I would be intrigued after I heard a mention of the word 'artifact'. I would then go up to them, and sit down, asking if they could tell me more. However, due to them speaking in hushed voices, I would suspect not; who in their right mind would tell a random stranger what they were planing? But, if they did, I would try to become a part of this band... until the time was right for me to leave, with treasure, or with my life.

Stupidity and fear always mixed so well together in the minds of people, be them elves, humans, dwarves, orcs, halflings, or kharajyr. I would think that the 'necromancer' in question was just an unfortunate mage, possibly a conjurer of some sort, be prosecuted for what he or she was not. I would then try to subdue the human threatening the hooded person, allowing the mage to go. But if I was wrong... well, lets say that there'd be far more ghouls in Anthos.

Answer: Amras walks up slowly, not sure about what resides inside he silently takes an arrow and knocks it on his bow. He then carefully walks up to the building, inside, there is a blaze and many pigmen he carefully climbs up to a vantage

point where he is hidden by the shadows, and picks them off one by one.

Answer: Amras walks up to the dark hooded figures, "What is this artifact your talking about?" He asks inquiringly. "N-n-nothing..." One of them stuttered. Amras walks to a nearby table where he listens to the rest of the conversation. "Yes, we must take the artifact to the necromander,

it will increase his power greatly, hurry!" They get up and walk out the door, Amras follows them, sticking to the shadows. He takes two shots with his bow, quickly downing both of the figures. Then he takes the artifact, exmines it, and then proceeds to knock the two figures out with stones, and then 

starts on his way back to the Delver base.

Answer: As soon as Amras hears the word necromancer, He knocks an arrow to his bow, and aims it at the man's throat. As soon as he hears the man cackle in madness, he releasing and fires two more arrows in quick succession, but they all bounce off invisible wards. The man cackles again, "You cannot defeat me!"

Amras quickly takes his sword out of it's sheathe, realizing arrows will be useless in this fight.
